This is a short one. I didn't really know what to do with it but I think it's cute and wholesome

It was a nice cool fall day outside. The air was crisp, the leaves were changing, and it was still warm enough to be comfortable in their normal uniforms.

The Titans had just finished battling Kardiac at a nearby park and decided to take advantage of the now empty playground.

Robin and Raven sat at the picnic tables watching both Starfire and Beast Boy try to lower themselves on the teeter totter with Cyborg on the other side grinning.

Robin chuckled at the sight they made. He looked over at Raven to see her reaction. She was not looking at the three squawking and giggling Titans trying to rise their mechanical friend, she was looking off to the left.

Robin followed her gaze and saw that she was looking at the swings. There were four normal ones and two baby ones.

He looked back at Raven and then to the others. They were still occupied

"Do you want to go swing?" Robin asked, turning to face Raven.

"Huh?" Raven turned to face him.

"The swings," Robin gustered to the swings. "Do you want to swing?"

"Uh, sure." Raven said hesitantly.

"Come on," Robin stood up and dragged her by the hand from the table with a huge grin. "Race ya!" He took off running to the swings.

Raven stood there for a few seconds before she realized that he wanted to race. She ran after him as fast as she could, but he still beat her.

Robin kept grinning as he sat on one of the swings. "I won." He declared.

Raven copied him and sat on the swing next to his. "Well you did have a head start." She said facing Robin.

"Yeah whatever," Robin started to swing slowly, "but I still won."

Raven rolled her eyes and just sat there.

Robin looked to his left to see Raven not moving. "Do you need a push?" He asked, slowing down.

"I do not need a push." Raven shot back.

Robin, not convinced, slowed to a stop and got off the swing.

Raven watched as he got off and walked behind her.

"What are you doing?" She asked, turning around.

Robin smiled and grabbed the chain of her swing and pulled her back. "Giving you a push," he stepped back some more until he thought that was a good starting distance. "Hold onto these." Robin told Raven. As soon as she took ahold of them Robin let go.

Raven gasped at the sudden movement of being thrusted forward. Then she was going backwards. She did not know what to expect but it was most certainly not Robin's hands on her back. He gently caught her and pushed her back, like a parent would do to a child.

After a minute or so of pushing, Raven came to a stop as she was going backwards. Startled, she turned around facing a smiling Robin. He once again took hold of the chains.

"Now move your legs to go back and forth." He pulled her back as far as he could. "Ready?" Checked. Raven nodded and he let go.

It took a few tries before she got the hang of it.

Seeing that she didn't need anymore help, Robin returned to his swing and started speeding up to match her pace.

They swung in peace. Robin would occasionally look over to see how Raven was doing and would find pure bliss on her face every time.

The swinging kept pulling her hood down and she didn't bother to try to put it up anymore. She really enjoyed the way the wind would push her hair back and the breeze on her face. It felt like she was flying.

'She seems so happy,' Robin thought and smiled looking back at Raven. 'We should get some swings back at the tower. I'm sure I could think of some training to incorporate with them. We should also have more park days.'

They swung for a few more minutes before Raven slowed down. Robin knowing that she was done jumped off his swing and landed on his feet with his arms in the air.

He turned around to face Raven. "Come on, jump off."

Raven looked at him stunned. She was hesitant but then decided that she was lower to the ground so why not. On the next swing forward she jumped off.

She landed on her feet closer to the swings than Robin but lost her balance and fell to her knees.

"Ow." Raven winced as she moved her legs from under her looking at the damage.

"Are you ok?" Robin rushed towards her, kneeling down beside her.

"Yeah, I'm ok." Raven said brushing the mulch off her legs to observe the bit of blood from landing hard on the mulch. "Just not the best material to land on."

Robin chuckled helping her up. "Yeah, the mulch isn't the best thing to have around playgrounds where people are prone to fall, but oh well."

"Yo Raven, Robin, help us get chrome dome airborne!" Beast Boy yelled at the birds.

They both went over to the side that Starfire and Beast Boy were on. After a bit of maneuvering, they managed to all fit and lift Cyborg up as they went all the way down to the ground giggling and laughing.

'Yep, Robin thought, I am definitely having more park days.'

I absolutely love swings and teeter totters! I feel like both Raven and Robin would like swings too. Raven for the familiarity of flight and Robin for feeling like he was back at the circus.

As always, if you have any suggestions, let me know and I'll make it happen
