Ash, Misty and Brock are currently walking on a dirt path that will lead them towards the Vermilion City.On their way Ash decided to battle any trainer he encounter.
Currently Ash is battling a kid with a Nidoran with his Pidgeotto.
"Pidgeotto use steel wing," said Ash
"Nidoran use poison sting, " said the kid.
Pidgeotto dodged all poison sting attack and strikes Nidoran knocking it out.
"Nice job Pidgeotto," said Ash as Pidgeotto landed on Ash's shoulder.
"You are amazing trainer Ash, " said the kid
"Thanks, but your Nidoran is amazing too, " said Ash
"I think you should battle A.J," said the kid.
"A.J, who is that, " asked Misty
"Well he is a gym leader, he didn't lose any battle till now, " said the kid.
"He won ninety-nine matches in a row, but he didn't win a single badge," said the kid
"If he is that powerful, I think I should battle him, " said Ash
"Thanks for the information, " said Ash
"Guys let's go and see what that A.J is made of, " said Ash
"We will battle him too, " said Brock and Misty
After searching for full twenty minutes, Ash and his friends are in front of the gym
"So this is a gym huh, " said Ash
Ash and his friends then enter the gym and in the gym, they found a huge battlefield. A kid with green hair is training his pokemon
"AJ, we are here to challenge you, " said Ash gaining the attention of AJ
"You, want to challenge me.Well, you will be my 100th challenger, once I make my final consecutive win, I will enter the indigo league, " said A.J
"Sorry to say, but you will lose, " said Ash
"You are too over confident, but I will be happy to take you down, " said A.J
Ash looked at his pokemon who are training.
"So, how about a six on six full battle, " asked Ash
"Six on six , I accept that, but don't cry when I will defeat you" said A.J
Misty and Brock are on side lines, ready to watch the battle that is going to unfold.
"My first pokemon is Spearow, " said A.J sending the flying type
"Pidgeotto go, " said Ash sending his flying
type
"Spearow vs Fearow, this is going to be interesting, both are natural rivals." said Brock
"Yes, " said Misty
"Spearow start with quick attack, " said A.J
"Pidgeotto use your own quick attack, " said Ash
Both Pidgeotto and Spearow collided in mid air before they gain some distance from each other.
"Nice Pidgeotto you got, but mine spearow better, Spearow use steel wing" said A.J
"Pidgeotto,you counter with steel wing too, " said Ash
Both Pidgeotto and Spearow are clashing their steel wings against each other. Spearow charged at Pidgeotto who slightly bent on right missing Spearow.Pidgeotto then followed Spearow with steel wing.
"Now add aerial ace to it, " said Ash
"Spearow use aerial ace to increase your speed and gain distance, " said AJ
"You can't escape, Pidgeotto use double team and cover the sky, " said Ash after which pidgeotto covered the sky with his copies confusing Spearow.
"Now , use sky attack, " said Ash as Pidgeotto's body becomes surrounded by a white aura and it flies into the
Spearow.
"Spearow dodge and use fury attack, " said A.J
All of Pidgeotto's copies charged at Spearow which he dodged but finally got striked by original Pidgeotto making it crashed in the field.
"Spearow no !" screamed A.J as Spearow tried to flew up but unable to do so.In frustration Spearow started to glow and change shape.
"Oh no, Spearow is evolving, " said Brock
"I know it's bad, pidgeotto will loose, " said Misty
"Look at Ash, he is not worrying at all, " said Brock as after few moments Spearow grew up into Fearow.Fearow then flew high in the air giving a death glare towards Pidgeotto.
"Pidgeotto, use sky attack, " said Ash
"Fearow you use sky attack too , " said A.J
The aerial battle of sky attack continued for next ten minutes ,both Pidgeotto and
Fearow are now running out of stamina.
"Fearow finish with sky attack, " said A.J
"Pidgeotto put all of your energy,finish with brave bird, " said Ash
Fearow and Pidgeotto both used their attacks colliding in mid air.Pidgeotto and Fearow are pushing each other backwards and ultimately leads to explosion and smoke.From with in smoke
Pidgeotto is falling towards the ground.
"Pidgeotto !" screamed Ash as pidgeotto crashed on field
"You lost Ash, your pidgeotto is unable to battle," said A.J but all of sudden Pidgeotto stood up and extends his wings and took flight back into the air and used brave bird once again and charged at Fearow.
"Fearow use sky attack, " said A.J.Both pokemon collided in mid air leading to explosion after which both Fearow and Pidgeotto knocked out each other.
"Nice job, Pidgeotto you did great" said Ash recalling him back.
"I can't believe, your Pidgeotto defeated Spearow, " said A.J
"Now my next pokemon is Arbok, " said A.J sending his poison type
"Arbok huh, " said Ash as he sends his pikachu
"Arbok start with poison sting, " said A.J
"Pikachu dodge using quick attack, " said Ash
Arbok launched glowing needles at Pikachu who dodged every needles with quick attack and slammed into Arbok.
As soon as Pikachu slammed into Arbok, electricity surrounded it leading to paralysis.
"Arbok, try to move, " said AJ but it was of no use.
"Now use electro web, " said Ash.Pikachu then launched electro web that captured Arbok.
"Use dig, " said AJ after which Arbok dig it's way underground.
"Pikachu jump and use full power thunder bolt." said Ash after which Pikachu jumped in the air and then Arbok came out behind Pikachu chasing him.Arbok is now in the mid air and then Pikachu released full power thunderbolt that engulfed Arbok knocking it out instantly.
"Your Pikachu is strong but can it handle my geodude, " asked A.J sending his rock and ground type.
"Geodude use rapid spin, " said A.J
"It's not going to work, Pikachu use iron tail" said Ash
As Geodude is spinning towards Pikachu, Pikachu jumped in the air and swung it's tail glowing with white energy down on incoming Geodude.The collision force was so powerful which results into huge explosion that sends Pikachu flying past Ash and landed near Brock
"Pikachu can you battle once again, " asked Ash
" Yes, I can battle, " replied Pikachu
"Great, " said Ash as Pikachu walked back towards the field.
"Round two begins,Geodude use rapid spin, " said A.J
"Pikachu stop Geodude with iron tail, " said Ash as Pikachu used full power iron tail that stopped Geodude.
"Now use full power focus smash, " said Ash
"Geodude use focus punch, " said A.J
Both pokemon clashed their punches sending each other back.
"Pikachu use iron tail, " said Ash
"Geodude grab the tail and use seismic toss, " said A.J
As commanded by AJ Geodude grabbed the tail and swing Pikachu in the air and then slammed it on the field.
"Pikachu no, " said Ash which made AJ smirked.
"I can't lose, " said Pikachu as he stood up with all of his strength and then used full power thunderbolt that Geodude dodged.
"Oh no Pikachu is in danger, " said Misty
"I know, last time Ash defeated my Onix with Pikachu.But this time Geodude is getting advantage " said Brock
All of sudden three of Ash's pokeball opened up and then Lucario, Zeraora and Bisharp emerges from inside it.
"Pikachu, you cannot be defeated by hands of a rock type, remember your training you and Ash did in last month, " said Lucario
"Let the power of aura be with you, " said Zeraora
"What kind of pokemon are these three, " asked A.J
"This is Lucario, Zeraora and Bisharp from Sinnoh, Alola and Unova region and they are my team member from long time, " said Ash
"Pikachu let's show them, use full power irontail on geodude, " said Ash
As Pikachu landed irontail, Geodude stopped it and then Ash smirked
"Now use electroball, " said Ash as Pikachu formed ball of pure electricity that exploded makeing Geodude losen it's grip on pikachu.
"Now finish with iron smash, " said Ash after which Pikachu used irontail and rocksmash combo that strikes Geodude sending it flying in the air.
"Now use full power volt tackle, " said Ash after which volt tackle hit dead on Geodude's face knocking it out instantly.
"That's great, you defeated my Geodude, now meet my another pokemon, " said AJ sending his poliwhirl.
"A poliwhirl, my next pokemon is, " said Ash as his Graveler
"A rock type against a water type, bad choice." said AJ
"Poliwhirl use water gun, " said A.J
"Use gyro ball to deflect water gun and use hammer arm, " said Ash
Poliwhirl launched water gun at Graveler. Graveler is using gyroball that not only deflected water gun but it also strikes poliwhirl sending it flying in the air.
"Poliwhirl, " said AJ as he is shocked to see immense power of Graveler due to he is being vulnerable to water type attacks.
"Poliwhirl get up and use bubble beam, " said AJ
"Graveler use Earth power and then use stone edge, !" said Ash
Graveler stomps on the ground which causes the ground to crack open.Graveler slams its hands onto the ground, causing light blue rock pillars to appear out of the ground and rush towards the poliwhirl.
"Poliwhirl dodge and use hypnosis, " said AJ with smile.
Poliwhirl showed great speed and dodged all the stone edge attack and released hypnotic waves that put Graveler to sleep.
"What you will do Ash, your Graveler is in deep slumber" said AJ
"Poliwhirl use brick break, " said AJ
"Use sleep talk, " said Ash as Graveler is standing still doing nothing and taking continuous brick break
"You are going to lose this time " said AJ in confidence as Graveler started to glow red
"That has to be bide, " thought Ash after which a white beam fired at the Poliwhirl from Graveler's body that knocked it out instantly.Graveler also woke up."You won Graveler, " said Ash after which Graveler went near Misty and Brock and took a rest."Now face my next pokemon " asked AJ sending his butterfree
"Go " said Ash sending his Steelix
"What's that, " asked AJ
"Meet steelix, final form of Onix, " said Ash
"How you got that, " asked AJ
"Near mount moon, " said Ash
"Shall we begin our battle, " asked Ash
"Butterfree use aerial ace! " said AJ
"Steelix use flash cannon!" said Ash
Butterfree charged in with aerial ace, steelix on other hand used flash cannon that strikes butterfree knocking it down on the field.
Butterfree rise up and then used sleep powder which Ash told steelix to evade using dig and then counter with stone edge that strikes butterfree injuring the wings after which it is unable to flew.
"I forefeit Butterfree, " said AJ
"I am glad that you love your pokemon, " said Ash
"My final pokemon is my starter sandshrew, " said AJ as he reveals his ground type.
"I don't have any other pokemon that I have caught recently, " said Ash
"And others I have are pretty experienced one, three of them are Lucario, Zeraora and Bisharp" said Ash
"I will fight your Lucario, " said AJ
"Lucario, time to test our training, " said Ash
"He will battle on his own, " said Ash to which AJ nodded.
After few moments battle begun and Sandsgrew started with rapid spin.Lucario stood there without and nervousness and then prepared bone rush, ready to strike incoming sandshrew.Once Sandshrew is near Lucario it used bone rush that sends Sandshrew crashed into AJ.
"What a powerful attack, " said AJ
Sandshrew then charged at Lucario with metal claw but is knocked out in few seconds with consecutive blaze kicks.
"Sandshrew no, " said Ash
"How could I lost, " asked AJ
"You did awesome by the way, " said Ash giving a high smile.
"But I lost, " said AJ
"Look at your loss to win ratio, you did great.Everyone looses at some point of their life, even I can loose any future match, " said Ash
"My winning streak, it came to an end " said AJ
"Don't worry , you will become a good trainer, " said Ash
"Even I am a beginner trainer, " said Ash
"You are a begginer, you are lying, " said AJ
"You are right, I got my license today but I was training with my uncle from past seven years, " said Ash
"Can I train here, my friends would like to battle you but once they are healed, " said Ash
"Sure, you are the worthy opponent I met in my entire life." said AJ
"I must say you trained your pokemon well, " said Brock to AJ
"Yes, I can agree with him, " said Misty
After battling with A.J, Ash, Misty and Brock made their way towards Vermillion city.
"So Ash, how are you planning to train your new pokemon, " asked Misty
"Well, I am planning to train them as usual, making them resistant to their weakness and make their attacks powerful." said Ash.After walking for next two hours we the trio is in a wide clearing and decided to rest there.
"We will train here and rest for the night, and tomorrow we will continue our journey towards the Vermillion city" said Brock
"That's a great idea, " said Ash as he sends his pokemon out.
"Guys we will train here, and you can enjoy." said Ash making them happy
"Ash I will prepare meal, so can you go and bring some firewoods, " said Brock
"Yeah, sure, " said Ash
"Anyone who wish to accompany me, " asked Ash after which Luxray steps forward.
"Great, let's go" said Ash as he and Luxray went to collect some firewoods.
After walking for ten minutes Ash is looking to collect some firewoods.
"This looks great, " said Ash as he created aura blades and slashed the wood from tree.
"Hey Luxray, I was wondering, if you still misses your home, Sinnoh region, " asked Ash
"Well, not really.You are my home Ash, " said Luxray
"Thanks, for being a good friend " said Luxray
"Thanks, I can not find a better friend than you" said Ash as Pikachu shocked him.
"I mean all of my pokemon, including you too Pikachu, " said Ash
For next ten minutes Ash was searching for more firewoods until he realized that he is lost
"Guys, I think we are lost, " said Ash
"Yes, you are right, we forgot that too, " said Pikachu
"Look, something is glowing there in the distance, " said Ash
"I think we may found someone there, " said Luxray
"Let's go, " said Ash and few moments later Ash is near the source of the glow.Ash saw multiple kids in school uniform surrounded a kid who is running on treadmill.
"Now tell us how many types are there, " asked one boy
"There are eighteen types, grass, fire, water, electric,ice, rock, ground, steel, psychic, ghost, fighting,dragon, fairy, dark, poison, bug, flying and normal one, " said the kid running on treadmill.
"Good, everyone knows that, now tell us in how many types an eevee evolves to, " asked the other kids
"Eevee evolve into fire type Flareon, ice type Jolteon, " said kid but he was hit by another kid
"You are wrong, jolteon is an electric type, and Glaceon is an ice type" said the kid
"Now just tell me what is the name of this pokemon, " asked one kid showing the pic of a pidgey.
"Well this is a pidgeotto, " answered kid
"Wrong, this is a pidgey, " said another kid
"And at what what level does this pidgey evolve into pidgeotto, " asked another kid
"This evolve at level six " said the kid
"Again wrong answer, pidgey evolve into pidgeotto at level eighteen" said the kid
"This school don't deserve a student like you, you can not even answer simple questions, " said another kid as all kids pushed the kid who is runing on treadmill.
"Hey you all, stop bullying him" said Ash from behind gaining the attention of the kids.As then walked in front if the kid.
"Who are you, " asked the kids
"I am Ash Ketchum from pallet town, " said Ash
"Why are you bullying him, " asked Ash
"This is a private training session, we don't want that any student from our school to be a looser, " said the kid
"We are going, see you later Joe, " said the group as they walked away.
"So, why are they bullying you, " asked Ash
"They are my friends, and they are helping me, " said Joe
"They are your friends, I believe they are not your true friends.They just want to show-off their knowledge and wants to let you down, " said Ash
"That's not true, they taught me various things about pokemon, " said Joe
"By the way what's that pokemon, " asked Joe
"This is Luxray , an electric type from Sinnoh region." said Ash
"But where am I, " asked Ash
"You are at pokemon technical school, " said Joe
"Pokemon technical school, a place from where people pass out, they are eligible for indigo league tournament without collecting badges." said Joe
"I think I don't agree on this, the experience you get when you challenge gym is different than getting theoretical knowledge." said Ash
"You are wrong, any one who passes out from this school is equivalent to a person who defeated all gyms, " said Joe
"Come with me , I will show you how we train at poketech, " said
"Luxray return for now, " said Ash recalling his electric type
"Ash wait, " said Misty and Brock from behind
"Misty and Brock, I thought you both were preparing snacks" asked Ash
"Yes, but since you didn't came early, we thought you are lost, " said Misty
"Actually you are right, " said Ash
"We told our pokemon to keep and eye on our belongings, " said Misty
"That's great, " said Ash
"So I want you three to follow me, " said Joe
"I want to meet who is in charge of this arrangement, " said Ash
"Oh, I can show you.This is Gisselle and she is the super cool student here.She belongs to super rich family, " said Joe
"Plus she is most talented trainer and is as strong as any eight badge holder trainer." said Joe
"I would like to battle her, " said Ash
"So you want to battle me, " said a voice
As Ash, Misty, Brock turned towards the source they could see Gisselle standing there with her friends.
"So how many badges you have, " asked Gisselle
"I have two badges but it doesn't mean I am not strong, " said Ash
"Really, so just tell me, when you got your license, " asked Gisselle
"I recieved my licence on first of April, " replied Ash
"So it means you are trainer for only one and a half month and you got two badges.I am sure the gym leaders are pretty weak." said Gisselle mocking Ash and his friends.
"Hey, that's enough of you.You already made enough fun of my friends.I will show you who is strong, " said Ash
"Bring your strongest pokemon, " said Ash
"Ih really, which pokemon you will send, this pathetic mouse of yours or a pathetic caterpie or a magikarp." asked Gisselle
"Regarding that, I will show you, " said Ash
Later on both Gisselle and Ash are standing opposite to each other with the pokeball in their hands.
"Graveller go, " said Gisselle
"Luxray battle time, " said Ash sending his electric type
"What's that pokemon, " asked Gisselle
"It seems you are not aware of other regions, this is Luxray, pure electric type from Sinnoh region, " said Ash
"You are sending electric type against a rock and ground type, " said Gisselle as she started to laugh followed by her friends.
"Luxray let's show them what electricity can do to a ground, " said Ash
"Graveller use rollout, " said Gisselle
"Luxray use reflect, and then use rain dance, " said Ash
Luxray created a wall made of yellow energy after which Graveler collided with it. Luxray then sends an orb of blue energy in air after which black rainy clouds formed which started to rain.
"How is that possible, electric type using water type attack, " said Giselle
"Graveler use rapid spin, " said Giselle
"Luxray use light screen, into electric terrain, " said Ash
Luxray used light screen and then created terrain of pure electricity which not only shocked Graveler due to being wet in rain water.
"Now use rising voltage and finish it up with charge beam, " said Ash
As commanded multiple streaks of high electric voltage raised from.the ground in the form of arcs that strikes Graveler.Luxray then fired the beam of charged particles that knocked out Graveler instantly.
"How could it be possible, " asked Giselle
"Simple,I was training from past seven years for my journey " said Ash
"But you said you got your license recently, " asked Giselle
"I said it, but I was friends with my pokemon when they were just novice and inexperienced in battling, Lucray here was shinx when I met him.He was abandond by his trainer and then we both understand each other , develop trust and you can see the result.We both are good friends " said Ash as Luxray nuzzle his head on Ash's leg.
"You did amazing job Luxray, return for now, " said Ash recalling him back in the pokeball
"You see Giselle, there are things which no institute or school can teach you about pokemon training like how to befriend your pokemon, how to create a bond with your pokemon unless and until you explore the world." said Ash
"Guys, I am not against the school, but it's just like for the league you need to be experienced and battle against real trainers who are training in wild, challenging the gyms," said Ash
"No degree or certificate can give you same experience when you battle gym leaders, " said Ash
"And one more thing, what we call evolution is nothing but a catalyst to the growth of pokemon when they are happy, anger, need powerup or they are in emergency situation.Level and evolution terms are applicable in games only" said Ash
"Thank you for this information Ash, are we rivals, " asked Giselle
"Rivals, " asked Ash
"Yes , I decided that I will challenge gyms, and get badges after which I will enter indigo league and hope we may battle in future, " said Giselle
"Sure, " said Ash
"And me too, I decided that I will enter league too by earning gym badges, " said Joe
"That's great, " said Misty and Brock
All of sudden a net came crashing on everyone that captures them.
"Who did that, " asked Giselle
"We are team rocket and we are here to steal all your pokemon, " said the trio
"Team rocket we will defeat you, " said Joe
Back with Ash and his pokemon, they are training with each other.Gardevoir got the message in her head.
"Gardevoir, I need your assistance, and bring Salamence with you" said Ash via aura link
"Coming Ash, " said Gardevoir
"So, how would you save yourself, " asked James
"Luxray cut the net in half, " said Ash.Luxray then tried to cut it down but it didn't worked.
"We created a powerful net, that can not be cut by any means, " said Meowth
"Pikachu, Luxray use dig to get out of the net and use Charge beam and Thunderbolt, " said Ash as all of sudden a loud echoed through the air.This gains attention of everyone.Salamence and Hydreigon are flying towards them.
"What kind of pokemon are they? " asked Giselle as Salamence and Hydreigon is floating above team rocket giving them a death glare and on back of Salamence and Hydreigon, two pokemon are standing.
"That's Salamence and Gardevoir from Hoenn region, Hydreigon and Bisharp from Unova region. " replied Ash
"Gardevoir, Salamence,Hydreigon and Bisharp, " said Ash as Gardevoir and Bisharp landed in front of Ash
"Gardevoir, please remove this net, we cannot move, " said Ash
"Sure, " said Gardevoir as she used telekinesis and removed the net.
"Team rocket, you are doomed, " said Ash
"Jessie, I think we are going to blast off once again, " said James clearly panicked, unable to do anything.
"Gardevoir use moon beam, Salamence and Hydreigon use dragon breath, Bisharp use darkpulse, Pikachu use thunderbolt, Luxray use chargebeam" said Ash
Attacks of all pokemon merged in one massive beam that connected with the trio, leading to huge explosion that blasts them off in the air.
"I think everything is sorted, " said Ash
Fifteen minutes later Ash and his friends are back at their site.
"Steelix, Graveler, Pikachu, Pidgeotto and Butterfree let's speed up our training, and for that, Metagross and Graveler you both spar with each other, Pikachu you train with Zoroark, Steelix you are against Lucario, Pidgeotto you spar with Braviary, and Butterfree you spar with Dusknoir, " said Ash
Two hours later Ash ordered his pokemon to stop training.Next day Ash and his friends started to move towards Vermilion City.
