Craft 8: Off the Platform.

Author Note: Hey everyone I'm back! And My God! What have I come back to? Just kidding of course it's good to be back. But sorry for being late in an upload! Japan is peaceful and all, but there are things that I love America for!(not including Politics) But hey, congrats to Biden! We are Artoria

Looking out over the Emerald Forest, me and all of the other participating students line up on platforms. I look at the edge of the cliff only feet away from me as the wind hits my face making my hair lift up and flap in the wind. As we all wait, Headmaster Ozpin and Miss Goodwitch walk in front of us as the two give the instructions to us.

Ozpin:(holding mug) For years you have trained to become warriors, and today your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest.

Goodwitch:(holding pad) Now, I'm sure many of you have heard rumors of teams. Well, allow us to put an end to your confusion. Each of you will be given teammates. Today.

Ruby: What? Oh~

Ozpin: These teammates will be with you during the rest of your time here at Beacon. So it's in your best interest to be paired with someone you can work well with. That being said, the first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next 4 years.

"What?!" Ruby shouts in disbelief. Glancing over at Ruby I can see the clear worry on her face, I turn my attention back to Ozpin. Clearly not comfortable with people… I hope she can find a good partner... "See? I told you." Another student said before Ozpin continues.

Ozpin: After you have paired up, make your way to the Northern end of the forest. You will meet opposition along the way.

Clenching the Sheath mold in my hand as I know very well what that means. Grimm. Looking past Ozpin and into the forest I think back to the previous tests. Beowolfs, Geringel, Boarbatusk, Creeps, DeathStalker, Griffon, King Taijitu, and Nevermore's. Looking at my hip I look at my blade as I slide the blade only a few inches out to look at the steel. I look back up to Ozpin.

Ozpin: Do not hesitate to destroy anything in your path, or you will die.

Alborz:(crosses arms) Oh, that's comforting.

Ozpin: You will be monitored and graded during the duration of your initiation. But our instructors will not intervene. You will find an abandoned temple at the end of the path, containing several relics. Each pair must choose one and return to the top of the cliff. We will guard that item as well as you're standing and grade you appropriately. Are there any questions?

A hand is meekly raised to the air out of the corner of my eye. Mr Jeanne. "Yeah, um. Sir?" Jeanne asks but Ozpin cuts him off. "Good. Now, take your positions." Ozpin orders. Here we go. "Guide me Ancestors." I said activating the mold. "Sheath!" The mold exclaims as I insert it into my belt. "Granted! Scabbard Arther!" Holding the blade I exclaim. "Henshin!" Bringing the blade down. "Unleash! Divine Blade!" The ground before me rumbles as a blade of light comes out of the ground. Taking hold of the blade and pulling it out of the ground, then throwing the blade into the air. The blade splits into multiple other blades. The blades attached onto me forming my armor. "The King of Knights! Arthur~!" My belt announces I stand ready.

Alborz:(puts out mold) Sigh~ Game time. Let's go.

Shizuka:(taking out mold) My blade Guides me.

Leo:(readies mold) By the strength of Blade and Shield.

All 3 activate their molds. "Chestplate!" "Katana!" "Spear!" Inserting the molds into their drivers. "Granted! Chest Shahryar!" "Granted! Katana Yagyu!" "Granted! Spear Leonidas!" Each belt exclaims as the three reach down to their handles. "Henshin!" All three shout in synch as they bring down the handles. "Shatter Though!" "Strike True!" "Stand Tall!" For Alborz, a sand storm begins to kick up below his feet as it engulfs him. Eyes pierce through before the storm is pushed away revealing Shahryar. Shizuka kneels down, a ring appears around her, tall grass quickly grows thick and tall before a single swing of a blade cuts them all down revealing Yagyu. Leo raises his shield and spear up before slamming it down, phantoms of other warriors rise up and converge on Leo revealing Leonidas. "Sand Storm King! Shahryar!" "The Perfect Strike! Yagyu!" "Unbreakable Shield! Leonidas!" All 4 of us stand ready.

Jeanne:(hand raised) Uh… Sir? I've got an… Um… Question.

Leonidas:(ready position) Kamen Rider Leonidas! Into the fray!(launches)

Jeanne: So this… Landing Strategy thing… Uh, what is it? You're like dropping us off or something?

Yagyu:(ready position) Kamen Rider Yagyu, my blade strikes true!(launches)

Ozpin: No. You will be falling.

Shahryar:(ready position) Kamen Rider Shahryar! Making an Entrance!

Jeanne: Oh… I see. So- Did you hand out parachutes for us or something-

Arthur:(looks at Jeanne) Mr. Jeanne, the Landing Strategy is something you are expected to do, yourself. No parachutes, no drop off, nothing. You are expected to catch and slow yourself down. By. You're. Self.

I turn my attention back forwards. So unprepared, to not even know what a Landing Strategy is? What training school did he go to? "*Gulp!*" Jeanne said as clear internal panic begins to set in. What brought him to this academy? I've seen many students but few so un-prepared like him. Seeing Ruby launch into the forest, I turn my attention forward as it's my turn now. "Artoria Pendragon! Kamen Rider Arther! Launching!" The platform I stand on launches me high into the sky, over the Emerald forest as I quickly descend down.

We are Observer

Leonida braces with his shield, smashing through several trees before landing on the ground. Leonidas then slams the edge of his shield into the ground behind him. The dirt grinds and gathers as Leonidas slows down. Reaching safe speeds, Leo pulls the shield from the ground and pushes himself up to his feet, looking around he wipes off some of the dirt on the shield.

Elsewhere, Yagyu falls into the treeline. Passing through the top of the treeline, Yagyu tosses out a wire that wraps around a large branch. Yagyu swings down her momentum, landing on the ground as she let's go of the wire. As she lands on the ground she let's go of the wire and rolls across the ground slowing down. Yagyu stands up and walks off.

As Shahryar falls to the ground, he takes out his blade and as he nears the ground. Shahryar stabs his blade into the trunk of a tree as he spins around the trunk of the tree. Nearing the ground, Shahryar pulls the blade out of the tree and jumps off landing on the ground. Looking around Shahryar walks off.

Arther takes off her blade and sheath, changing it into lance mode. Readying herself, Arthur slams the tip of the lance into a tree, causing the base of the tree to crack and start to tip forward as she crashes down into the ground. Pulling the lance out of the tree, she reverts the lance back into it's blade mode and she walks off.

Further in the forest...

Within an isolated corner of the Emerald Forest hides a cave, with Human bones scattered around the entrance, inside the cave is a massive Grimm nest, with the hooded figure sitting on the side of a cave, he sits in a web with a passed out man. The hooded twirls a mold in his hand, taking hold of the mold he looks at it. The weapon in the mold is a whip, the hooded man takes out his dagger as he turns to the passed out man. The hooded man inserts the mold into the dagger and stabs the passed out man.

Man:(eyes open) Ah! Ah~

The man turns pale, as his body is wrapped in a thin cloth like material it wraps around him, as more layers cover every part of him until the man is wrapped in a Cocoon. Once the man is wrapped inside the material like a cocoon, the Hooded man stands up opening the palm of his hand, a small Dragonfly Grimm crawls out and enters the cocoon.

Hooded man: Kelomefongro...Kelomefongro...Kelomefongro...Kelomefongro!

The Cocoon shakes and tears open as a red eye peires through the cocoon. "Kelomefongro… Grimm Anisoptera Swinger!" Wings tear their way out of the egg and flap. The rest of the egg breaks down as the Anisoptera Swinger flaps it's 4 wings floating up into the air. Destron's view jumps around the room scanning it quickly.

Hooded man: Meiro Funo Amar Kamen Riders.(clenches fist) Bemor Cemo Emerokunmar Toat Karmora!

Anisoptera: Earmor… Karmora… Kamen Riders…(screeches) Karmora!

The Anisoptera Swinger floats up and flies out of the cave. A smile forms under the Hooded man's face, turning around. Behind him lies an entire cave full of corpses, being devoured by Grimm, and even further behind more cocoons all shifting and writhing at the sounds of people being devoured. The Hooded man turns around and walks further into the cave and towards the cocoons.

We are Forge

Driving up to the cliff edge I look out over the Emerald Forest… Is there a way down? Looking around for a ramp down I hear footsteps approach me. "Huh?" I turn around to see Ozpin and Goodwitch approach me. "Everyone has already launched and on the move." Ozpin said pointing at a platform in the ground. Hmm? Kicking up the parking leg for my bike, I step over and stand on the platform.

Forge: S-So what? Do I just stand on this an-(launched into the air) AAAAAAHHHH~! DICK~!

We are Ozpin

Forge falls towards the ground, still screaming all the while. Drinking from my coffee mug a smile forms on my face. "Hehe." I chuckle lowering my cup seeing Forge crash into a tree. If there's anything funny about new students it is this moment. Glenda walks next to me with a clear look of disappointment. "Sigh~ You enjoy sending them like that unprepared." Goodwitch said, crossing her arms. "Their reactions are always interesting." I simply said sipping from my cup.

Ozpin:(turning around) Besides, that armor is known for taking worse impacts than this. He will be fine.

Goodwitch:(follow behind) Perhaps. But it does not mean he will be happy about it.

We are Artoria

Swinging my blade I cut down the bushes in my way and make a path in the direction of the temple. Actually being in the Emerald Forest is so much more different than just watching it from above. But I should be on the right path if I remember. Cutting through another bushe I arrive at an opening, I look around. A bush shifts, I ready my blade as a figure steps out of the bushes. A familiar shield and spear appears from out of the bushes. Whew. I lower my weapon.

Leonidas:(sees Arthur) Ah, Arthur.

Arthur:(sheaths blade) Leonidas. You scared me there for a second.

Leonidas:(sheaths spear) Apologies. Though it seems that you are my new partner for the next 4 years.

Arthur:(crosses arms) I see. Then I'm glad to have a fellow Rider as my partner for the foreseeable future. I look-

Pausing, I look around. "What is it? Grimm?" Leonidas asks me. Gesturing to be quiet, the two of us listened. Through the silence of the trees a sound echoes in the sky something echos out. "Do you hear that?" I ask, Leonidas listens. "No I don't- Wait. Yes. I think I hear it." Leonidas said as we listened. It's… Whatever is falling it's... Screaming? Mr. Jeanne? No he shouldn't be in the air for this long… "AAAAAHHHH~!" The screams become louder as it comes closer. "It's coming closer! Take cover!" I shout as we move back to a safe distance, just as something barrels down and smashes through trees crashing into the ground before us.

Leonidas:(runs out) What the hell was that?

Arthur:(readies blade) I don't know. But we need to find out, be wary.

Leonidas:(readies spear) Of course.

We approach the crash site, our weapons at the ready. As the dust settles a familiar image comes into view. That belt. "H-How can this be? I-I don't recognise this Rider." Leonidas said on guard. "Uh...Ughh~" Forge said as he slumps to the ground. "Hello once again… Forge." I said lowering my blade. "You know him?" Leonidas said still on guard.

Forge:(looks up) H-Hey guys?~ I feel greapths-

Forge collapses face first into the ground… "Who is this… Fake?" Leonidas said. "Let's not jump to conclusions yet." I said walking over to help Forge up. Turning him over I easily lift him up with one hand and prop him against a tree. Standing back up I turn to Leonidas who just stares at me. "...What?" I ask. "Gorilla strength." Leonidas mutters.

Arthur: I AM NOT A GORILLA~!
