Meanwhile, in Magenta and Scarlet's room, the young witch had just received the hext from Empress.

"What do you want all of a sudden?" asked Magenta as she opened the hext. 'Thought you would like to see your best friend out in the Enchanted Forest with your boyfriend,' read the hext.

"What the hex?!" asked Magenta as she looked at the picture, instantly shooting up in her bed and magic burning in her eyes with rage.

"What happened, Magenta?" asked Scarlet as she walked into the room.

"You said that you were going on a date with Cupix tonight, but Empress just sent me this," said Magenta as she showed her the picture.

"Why did you lie to me?!" asked Magenta, her magic still burning in her eyes as she stood up from her bed.

"First off, I was on my way to meet Cupix when he called out to me from the forest after he was done with a night walk through it while trying to clear his mind, he asked me to bring this to you," said Scarlet as she handed over the letter.

"And secondly, did Empress really get to you?" asked Scarlet as she crossed her arms.

"I seriously can't believe I fell for one of her tricks," said Magenta as she slapped a hand to her forehead.

"Read the note, I'm sure there is something in there to hexplain everything that has been going on with him," said Scarlet as she left again. Magenta then sat back down on her bed while opening the letter.

"Hey Magenta, sorry that I have been avoiding you these last few days, had to do some stuff for my moms and it had my attention, but I have time tomorrow and would love to see you at the Dragon Field; love, Thorn," read Magenta.

"I'm such an idiot," said Magenta as she fell backwards, all the sadness and anger she had felt a minute ago gone as she held the letter to her chest this time.
