Chapter 7- Back to the Land of the Living
2 weeks have passed since Lila Rossi had captured HawkMoth and revealed him to the police as Gabriel Agreste.
She also showed the video of Gabriel transforming into HawkMoth to police, who was amazed that a teenager without superpowers managed to beat a known terrorist.
Lila said that she snuck up to him, hit him with a baseball bat and he fell out the window, which was kinda the truth anyway.
Lila was well rewarded for her efforts and her parents were more than proud of her! a celebration was held in her honnor, and all of Paris could now breath easily knowing that HawkMoth was no long a threat.
At the hospital...
To her parent's joy, Marinette awakens from her coma, after fully healing, she was allowed to return home.
But...after the accident, as well as losing Tikki, Marinette was never the same again...
One day, the school decided to let Marinette say good-bye to her class, after finding out that she will going to a new School in London.
But when she arrived, everyone's jaws dropped...
Marinette was wearing jet black pants with red pockets, a long black jacket with spiked cuffs as well as spiked cuff on her pants, a spiked collar arround her neck, her shirt, now a bloody red, and a obvious scar on her left eye, her hair no longer in her trademark pigtails now long with blood red highlights.
"Shit..." said Alix "What the hell?..." said Ivan "I'm scared..." whispered Rose.
"(whistle) Nice look!" Cheered Chloe Sabrina just nodded
Marinette smiled, Adrien, Sabrina and Chloe, at least she can trust them.
Marinette learned that Sabrina was joining her at her new school, apperantly, her father thinks Lila is a bad influence, even though Lila did capture HawkMoth.
Both Sabrina and Marinette said their farewells, many of the class realizing just how much they took Marinette for granted, and how badly they treated her, Marinette used to sparkle like a diamond, but diamonds can break too!
As Marinette left the classroom for the very last time, Lila followed her outside. the two stared at each other.
"You Won Lila, you finaly won..." Marinette said with a somber look on her face.
"Thank you, Mari, i know it must have taken a lot of courage to admit that." said Lila with a smirk
"You've taken my friends, my happiness, and possibly my sanity, but i'm woman enough to walk away when the better woman has won.." Marinette spoke with a tear in her eye.
"And since you were woman enough to admit defeat, i'll leave you be." Lila said, patting her back.
"Take good care of them...Lila." Marinette as she waves to her old life...
Lila smiles as she leaves, as she returns to class, 2 words escapes her lips...
"One Down..."
