(CHAPTER CONTENT WARNING: Violence, Mentions of Trans/Homophobia, Slight Grief,)
Outrageous Outback, the next day..
Tick and Lou were next to each other, a crate towards them. A couple of the teams don't have crates near them, but will find a crate if it is just a few feet away.
The timer counts down before the two prepare for battle.
The teams were Lou and Tick, battling 5 teams, Rosa with El Primo, Colt with Shelly, Nita with Leon, and Byron with Edgar.
The bell then rings, both Lou and Tick attack the crate, only for the object to break, the power cube appears.
"Alright, you take the power cube, I'll hide in these bushes.." Lou spoke to Tick.
Tick nods, before Lou headed towards the bushes to hide in. Tick then grabs the power cube, only for both of the figures to get each one of the power cubes to increase their energy, not just energy, their health.
Each power cube is used to increase their health and their damage in each hit. Tick finds another crate to break, another powercube is given to both Tick and Lou.
In Duo Showdown, the power cube is given to the brawler, and the other teammate is given one too.
But, due to his low health, he wouldn't be able to defeat a team with the most power cubes taken.
Tick will not give up. He breaks another crate that was next to him, only for the crate to break, giving another power cube to both Tick and Lou.
Lou then shook as Tick gave three power cubes to Lou; his health has increased. His smile grew, before spying on the enemy team to defeat.
The first team that was defeated were Shelly and Colt. Because of his damage, he and Shelly weren't strong enough to defeat both Byron and Edgar.
"Alright, first team defeated.. Onto the next.." Lou spoke.
Both Lou and Tick headed towards the team, before headed back to the bushes to hide. Byron and Edgar didn't notice at first, until Lou threw a snow cone at the snake master.
"Which one of you fools threw a frozen treat at me!?" Byron shouted in fury.
"It was El Primo!" Lou lied, pointing his finger at El Primo.
"¡Ese no fui yo!" El Primo spoke in fear.
El Primo did not throw the snow cone at Byron, but since he didn't want any brawler to lie, then used his move to attack the enemy team. Edgar finishes his moves to defeat Rosa, after defeating El Primo.
"Great move!" Tick thought in cheer.
Lou smiled, before he threw another at Byron.
The two then popped out before Byron could turn to the figures, alongside Edgar.
"So it was you who threw that frozen treat at me!" Byron snarled.
"I distracted you to defeat El Primo.. It's our turn to defeat both of you.." Lou spoke in a grin.
Byron's face fumed in fury, before Lou smiled, throwing the snowcone at the brawler.
Edgar tries to attack Tick with his scarf, he manages to block the attack, before throwing bombs at the brawlers.
Byron throws a snake-like spirit at Lou, but manages to do the same Tick did. Instead, using his super to freeze the brawler, both Byron and Edgar.
"Now, Tick!" Lou shouted.
Tick nods before he throws the bombs at the two brawlers, they both hid in the bushes before the tiny bomb-like objects had exploded, defeating both Edgar and Byron.
But since Byron is a support brawler, he usually heals himself with his staff, and also his potions. But since he had taken damage from Lou, his plan never worked out.
Now there are two teams left. Lou and Tick, versus Nita and Leon.
Nita and Leon were the only ones left undefeated in this duo showdown.
But, these are the same brawlers they had babysitted last night.
"These are the same brawlers I kept an eye on last night!" Lou shook, as he saw Nita and Leon running towards them.
"Attack them, Lou!" Tick thought.
Lou hesitated. Nita then uses her earthquake move to take damage to Lou.
The robot takes Tick to a hiding spot, where it is safe for both to stay until the game is over..
The Duo Showdown does NOT Have a timer that the game should be over. When the last team standing will let the game be over.
"Where are these two?" Leon asked Nita.
"Hiding in that bush!" Nita shrieked.
The two then ran just a few feet away to the bush, before Lou spoke.
It was their final words before disaster struck.. Leon's shurikens and Nita's bear "Bruce"..
"Well, it's game over for us.." Lou sighed.
But, Tick had a better idea. Tick grabs the bombs out of his cannon-like hands, before topping them onto Lou's snowcone.
Lou thought the idea would go wrong at first, but they will give this combined move a try.
Lou throws the explosive-topped snowcone near Nita and Leon, before it explodes, not to freeze the ground, but to take damage to both of the brawlers.
Tick then runs towards the two to use his super to attack both Nita and Leon, but it only fails as Bruce slashes the robot, sending him flying.
"TICK!" Lou shouted in worry.
Lou tries to run, but there isn't any escape now.
"You can't escape, Lou.." Leon growled.
Lou fell in fear, before using his super to freeze both Nita and Leon, except for Bruce.
Lou then runs off before Leon and Nita unfroze, Nita yells at Bruce to go after the robot.
Bruce nods before running to go after the brawler. Once Lou reaches the dead end, Tick is seen, not being able to get up.
His eyes were closed, he was covered in dirt marks. He was unconscious.. Lou shook in worry, shaking him to let him get up.
It's not working. Lou turns to the bear, only for the brawler to throw snow cones, taking damage before Bruce gets defeated.
Leon and Nita are both healed up; They ran towards Lou to use their last attack to defeat the brawler. Not one but two.
Lou growls before he manages to throw his snow cones at the two. They both dodge the attack; Tick then wakes up, before using his super.
Once his head Ticks, both Leon and Nita shook, before it could explode, sending Lou flying.
Lou falls onto the ground, slowly getting up. Leon and Nita were both defeated. His smile grew, before realizing Tick is gone.
"Tick!?" Lou shook.
Tick is gone.. Lou then runs to look for him. He could be here somewhere. Just after the game is over, his body could be here somewhere.
Lou continues to look for Tick; after letting the dust clear out, Tick is found, lying onto the ground. Lou then ran towards him to wake him up.
"Get up!" Lou shouted.
No answer. Tick was unconscious. After the powerful explosion had left him knocked-out cold.
"Oh geez.. I gotta get Pam!" Lou cried in worry, taking Tick to Pam's Scrapyard.
Nita and Leon were seen, slowly walking towards the exit of the arena. They both turn to Lou, running out of the area.
"Well, there goes our trophies.." Leon sighed.
Pam's Scrapyard..
"I'll go print out my reports.." Pam spoke to Lou.
Lou gulped in worry. He was worried that Tick might go into a coma for a few months, or worse, years.
Pam prints out her reports after an examination with Tick. She then explains what Tick has had after battle.
"So, the reports had said that Tick has gone unconscious after an explosion that took place in the Outrageous Outback.." Pam explained to Tick.
"How long will it last?" Lou asked Pam.
"Luckily it'll last for a few hours or so.. It won't last for a minute, so I'll let him rest for a bit.." Pam spoke to Lou.
"At least it wasn't a coma.." Lou sighed.
"Yes.. At least it wasn't.. If Tick had a coma, it would've been a disaster.." Pam replied.
Lou sighs, then nods.
"Don't worry, he'll be awake in a few hours.. It's just Explosion Trauma.." Pam spoke to Lou.
"Explosion Trauma? What's that?" Lou asked Pam.
"It's a minor traumatic injury to the head and not the brain. It causes the brawler to become unconscious for a few hours if they get close to an explosion, like Tick." Pam explained.
"Oh, I see.." Lou spoke.
Pam then exits out of her bases before Lou walks towards Tick.
"Please be alright.." Lou whispered into Tick's non-existent ear.
A few hours later..
Pam enters back into her base after a very long battle of robot rumble. She enters the room only for her to see Lou and Tick missing.
"Where did these two go?" Pam shook.
Back at the apartment, Lou and Tick were seen, sitting down on the couch.
"I'm glad to see you alright, Tick.." Lou spoke to Tick.
Tick nods, then blathers in agreement. Lou heads to his room to look for the translator in his closet. When he opened the door, it was gone.
"Where did the translator go!?" Lou shook.
Lou thought he had lost the translator.. If the translator was gone, Tick wouldn't be able to talk for a long amount of time.
Lou then opens the door only for Surge to appear at the entrance.
"Looking for this?" Surge asked Lou, with the translator in his hand.
Lou fell in relief, taking the translator out of Surge's hand.
"Thank you so much, Surge! I thought it was gone!" Lou cried in happiness.
"I kept it right in my storage area in case this gets lost.. I kept it right inside during battle.." Surge spoke to Lou.
"I promise I won't lose it again.." Lou said to Surge.
"Promise.." Surge replies, giving Lou a pinky promise.
Surge then waves before closing the door. Lou sits back down, putting the translator inside Tick's system unit.
"Can you speak now?" Lou asks Tick.
"Yes.." Tick replies.
This was the first time Tick had spoken off the battle.. Lou then replies to Tick about the apartment lease..
"So, how many gems do we need for the lease?" Lou asked Tick.
"About.. 130 gems.." Tick replies, Lou fell in shock.
"130 GEMS!?" Lou fell in shock.
"We don't have enough gems for the lease.. We need to pay 30 gems for the dinner mess, and another hundred for the destruction Nita made!" Tick spoke to Lou.
"But, what happens if we don't have enough?" Lou asked in worry.
"We might have to move out at the end of the week.." Tick sighed.
Lou falls in worry. If the two get evicted out of the apartment, they might find a house to live in..
"I'm really worried.." Lou said to Tick.
"Look, I'm sorry, Lou.. But, we might get evicted soon if we don't have enough.." Tick responded to Lou.
Lou usually never works during battle. He once had an idea, but Tick said that it would take days to earn 130 gems for the lease if he works for a few..
"I don't know what we should do, Lou.. It's for our own good.." Tick sighed.
"When's the lease going to take place?" Lou asked Tick.
"Probably tonight.." Tick sighed, in deep regret.
Lou falls in worry, he thought the lease was going to take place tomorrow, but will take place tonight..
"Don't worry, Lou.. We'll find another apartment to stay for a few days or so.." Tick smiled, hugging Lou.
Later that night..
"Alright, so.. How many gems do you need for the lease.." The robot asked Lou.
"About..130 gems each.." Lou replied to the robot.
"Alright.. 130 gems each.. You have them?" The robot asked Lou.
Lou and Tick only had 80 gems, despite Niat's mess both in the restaurant and at the apartment.
"80 gems, I see.. Well, in that case.. I want you two to move out at the end of the day.." The robot said gently.
Lou sighs, before the robot could explain about the gems.
"If you had 130 gems, you two should be safe.. But now since 80 gems isn't enough, the apartment will be sold at the end of the month.." The robot explained.
Lou nods, before the robot heads back to his job, about to sell the apartment.
"Well, I guess we needed to find a house now.." Lou sighed.
"Or, we can stay at another apartment for a few days.." Tick spoke to Lou.
"We were going to move our stuff to this moving truck, but the other robots are going to do it themselves.." Lou sighed.
Tick sighs, then nodded.
"Let's call a moving group to take our stuff to the vehicle.." Tick said to Lou.
Tick then calls a moving group to move all of their belongings to the truck. Once did so, he then put the phone away, before replying to Lou.
"They're on their way.." Tick responded to Lou.
Lou nods, he takes Tick outside out of the apartment, before saying their final goodbyes to the building.
"Well, it was fun while it lasted.." Lou said to Tick.
Tick nods. Lou then had an idea, he spoke to Tick that they both can stay at a hotel for one night, then stay at another apartment for a few days.
Tick liked the idea, the car arrives with robot-like figures, alongside their yellow-hue eyes.
"Well, at least they are friendly.." Tick spoke to Lou.
Lou nods, as the robots began taking out their stuff into the vehicle.
"So, which hotel should we go to?" Tick asked Lou.
"I booked one that isn't far away from us.. I was going to look for another hotel that looks..pretty, but it costs at least 250 gems.." Lou replied.
"Can you find one that costs.. 80 gems?" Tick asked Lou.
"I mean, that will take all of our gems away, but I guess that should work.." Lou replied.
Tick nods, before Lou takes them to the hotel.
Mastiff Motel, Midnight..
Lou and Tick both headed inside the Mastiff Motel only for them to see the lobby, clean, neat, just what they liked.
"Clean, neat, just the way we like it.." Lou said to himself.
Lou and Tick both headed towards the desk. What they saw was a Mastiff-like creature, a scar on his right eye, blinded. Not a brawler, but known as a town citizen..
"Hey, uh.. Can we get a room, please?" Lou asked the mastiff.
The Mastiff growls, pointing at the sign, saying "No Trans or Homosexual people at this building, EVER!"
Lou gulps in worry, before another dog-like figure shows up, giving them a room.
"Yes, I would like to give you two a room!" The dog replies.
The mastiff growls before the other could speak to him, lecturing in a stern voice.
"Now don't disrespect them like that, Buddy.." The dog lectured.
Just after that, the Mastiff then ends up kicking both Lou and Tick out, giving all their 80 gems back to them.
"NO TRANS OR HOMO PEOPLE ALLOWED AT THIS POINT!" Buddy shouted, slamming the door.
"Well, I guess we might find an apartment for us to stay for a few days or so.. Some of the town citizens don't respect us!" Lou spoke to Tick.
"And they don't even respect me being..trans.." Tick sighed.
"Look, Tick.. I'll still support you no matter what.."
"It turns out Buddy is a..transphobe.." Lou shook.
"And a homophobe too.." Tick replied.
This led Lou to fall in shock, speaking to Tick about how he knew about his relationship.
"How did you know!?" Lou fell in shock.
"E-Ever since you broke up with Snow, you wanted to have a better relationship with me.." Tick spoke to Lou.
"I-I mean, you never c-came out as.. Bisexual!"
"I-I never did?" Lou asked Tick in worry.
"You didn't.. And, I just wanted to know about..your sexuality.." Tick replied.
"I mean- I like BOTH genders! I just liked the male gender the most.. I just wanted to be..Bisexual.. Because I wanted to have a newer relationship with..you.." Lou explained.
"I never fell in love with a male citizen, but since I had never met you before, you started to have a better relationship with me the most.."
Tick shook in awe and agony after what Lou had explained.
"Y-You're right, Lou.. I wanted to have a bigger relationship with you too.. Ever since I came out as trans, I wanted to become Pansexual since I liked all genders.." Tick spoke to Lou.
"You're..Pansexual?" Lou shook in awe.
"Yes.. I never liked all genders before, until I started to like them all, because I just wanted to have a newer relationship with..other citizens.. But, I never had a citizen who has another sexuality, until now.." Tick explained.
Lou then hugs Tick, before he could ask which apartment they should both live in for a few days.
"So, which apartment should we live in now?" Lou asked Tick.
Tick was going to answer, but Shelly then walks towards them, answering Lou's question.
"You can stay at my apartment if you want.." Shelly spoke to Lou.
The two figures fall in shock.
"Really!?" Lou shook.
"Yep.. Now come along.. I don't want you two to live in this..lame-old hotel anymore.." Shelly replied.
She then takes both Lou and Tick to her apartment.
"I'm glad I'm here to support you.." Tick spoke to Lou.
"Well, I'm glad to have you here too.." Lou replied.
Once the robots take the truck to a newer house, Shelly takes both Tick and Lou inside her apartment for a few days.
"So, when should we move in to the new house?" Tick asked Lou.
"In about a week, Tick.. In about a week.." Lou replies to Tick, with a jolly smile on his face.

A/N: At last.. The story is officially complete! And this chapter is my longest yet! Well, sort of..
Anyways, I really hope you enjoyed this story so far.. Hopefully I might make a sequel of the same story in the later future.
