Chapter 8:
Much to their surprise Mrs. Spetto was standing along the opposite wall waiting for them it seemed. She smiled softly when she noticed the sleeping blonde in Vander's arms.
"Follow me. Lady Lucy had me prepare rooms for everyone already. At first I had wondered why she was so specific about it but from what little I have seen I can understand why she wanted to give you all these rooms."
The family looked at her slightly confused.
"Is there something special about the rooms we will be staying in?"
Mrs. Spetto smiled knowingly.
"We have probably 100 guest rooms. Mistress Lucy hand picked each room for you and placed some things in them for each of you."
The first room they came to was Lucy's, before anyone could go in though Virgo popped out of thin air and took Lucy from Vander's arms.
"I will get Hime changed and in bed. Thank you all for taking care of her. All of your bags are in each of your rooms already."
With that Virgo turned around and walked into the room, the door shutting behind her.
As each person found their room they were shocked at what they found. Even after such a hard day where she ends up crying herself to sleep she is still thinking of them.
Vander's room was right next to hers, in his room was a note and a bracelet.
TO MY SOULMATE
Vander, I know we barely know each other. Well actually I'm pretty sure you know more about me than you'd like already. I can't say the same about you though. I can say we haven't known each other long. I know this may come as a shock and I probably haven't said it to your face yet but I love you.
I knew the moment I saw you that you were my soulmate. It was hard to swallow at first. I've been dealing with so many things I didn't really know how to handle finding my soulmate on top of it all. Then things happened between us and it hurt but I don't blame you for what you did. I know it was kinda childish of me to run off like that or refuse to interact with you. I may have been hurting but that was no excuse, especially since I ended up hurting you the way you had hurt me.
I want you to know that I am trying my absolute hardest to come to terms with things. To not be as terrified of you disappearing. If I'm being honest, which with you I always will be, I am falling hard and fast for you, but I'm scared out of my mind. I want to complete the mate bond and have the rest of our lives together. I want to give you the time you need to fall in love with me. (I'm going to ask Bixy to see if he can help with that.) I'm scared though. I don't want you to leave me. So many people have left me already and already the thought of you leaving me has me dying.
If what you said that morning is true and you want us to be us, please do me a favor. Don't ever let me think that you will leave or that you don't love me. Even if you don't love me or even have strong feelings for me yet. Don't lie to me, but don't let me think anything is wrong. Please.
On that note I know there is still a possibility of us not mating. I refuse to let you bond yourself for all eternity to me if you don't love me. So in case I do fade I had something made for you. This bracelet has been infused with a piece of my soul. Don't ask. Being soulmates my soul will always protect yours, even from yourself. As long as you wear this bracelet you will never have to worry about the voids taking control. It has also been spelled so only you can take it off. I want to protect you even if I am not there, so please wear it and don't ever take it off.

Vander for as smart as he is never expected this. Why would someone who barely even knows him give him something like this. He put the bracelet on and cried as he felt how much she already loved him. The shades backed off just like she said they would, never had he been so free. If he hadn't already known, right then he did. He was completely and utterly in love with Lucy Heartfilia. Vander knew he couldn't sleep in this room tonight so he pocketed the note and snuck into Lucy's room. Seeing that she was sleeping peacefully, he curled up next to her, his arm wrapped around her waist, and drifted off to sleep dreams of weddings and kids filling his head. Yes, Lucy Pradesh would become reality.
Bixlow's room was across the hall from Lucy's, but he couldn't bring himself to go in yet. He knew she would be fine but he didn't want to leave her alone. In the end he decided he would go in and see what it was she picked out for him and change before going into her room. Bixlow opened the door and the first thing he saw was an amazing wood carving kit. Bixlow remembered telling her once that he had handcarved all his babies but that he hadn't been able to afford much when he started out so he didn't have the greatest tools. He didn't expect that she would give him some.
On top of the box Bix found a note.
TO MY FAVORITE SEITH
Bixy I know what you are gonna say. I didn't have to do this. I know I didn't. But I wanted to. You have done so much for me these past four years. Helped me through more than I could ever hoped to repay you for. And you're still helping me. If I could only pick one person in the guild to be my family it would be you. (Shh don't tell the Raijinshuu).
You and your family have helped me a lot in the past few days. I haven't felt this good in a long time. To be honest I'm kinda dreading when they leave, scared they won't think anything else of me. I've never felt so at home as I have spending time with you all.
I know there is a chance I will be gone in a month. I really hope that Vander and I can make things work, but with how short the timeline is I have to be practical. As such I wanted to get you something. I wish I could say that the tools are the best and newest, they aren't but they are still high end. I found them when I was wandering around areas of the konzern I hadn't been to before. You will also find a sheet of paper, or my will to be exact. I don't have much but what I do have I want to go to the only family I've had the last four years. In it you will find that I am leaving you the konzern. Ever gets the lease to my apartment if she wants it, but I want you to have the konzern. I know you will find a good use for it and everything inside it if i'm not there to do it myself.

Bixlow couldn't believe she would choose him over everyone else. Sure they were as close as siblings but she and Laxus were kin. But she picked him. She was even leaving him the konzern in her will. Bixlow didn't want to think about her dying before having a family of her own to leave the konzern to, but he was touched that she would leave him something at all.
Not wanting to be away from her any longer he quickly changed and left to her room. Bix smiled when he saw Van curled around her. He felt better knowing she wasn't alone, but he was still going to stay in here as well. He also had a feeling some of his other siblings would be joining them so instead of laying out on the couch or curling up in the chair he chose to lean against the wall across from her bed. He was starting to fall into a deep sleep when he heard the door open and another of his siblings enter.
One by one each of the siblings found their way into Lucy's room. Some had obviously been crying at her gifts while others were amazed. Farron had been given a collection of first edition books Lucy knew he would love, Kaleb had been given ancient texts that she had translated about wielders of Immaculate Light as well as the paperwork he needed to create a sistership between Fairy Tail and White Sea, Cris had been given a letter from Nurem and one of her scales that had been turned into a bracelet, Zen had been given a key that would be hers if she faded before mating with Van, Emzadi and Xally had both been given high end Boscan formal dresses (gold with stellarium for Emzadi and silver with diamond and pearl for Xally), lastly Arman had been given a picture of him, Ganier, Farron, and Zen with Lucy and her mom as well as a letter from Layla that never got sent. Everyone got their own letter from Lucy as well.
Maybe an hour after being shown to his room Arman had decided to check on Lucy. Much to his amusement, though not really shocking, he found all of his children sleeping in there as well. Smiling, he closed the door and went back to his room. Already planning something for the beautiful blonde who managed to overcome so much and still have it in her to think of others before herself. He knew his children wouldn't be letting go of her if they didn't have to. Maybe he could convince her to move to Bosco to be near them. The Raijinshuu as well, from the sounds of it none were truly happy in Fairy Tail anymore.
