Hello again. I can't thank y'all enough for reading this! Unfortunately, my Thanksgiving break is coming to a close, so school is coming back. I won't be able to upload as crazy fast as I have been. BUT I've had a lot of fun writing this, and I hope you're enjoying reading this!
ALSO! I'll reveal who Lavone is in chapter ten. SO take your guess now! First person to guess correctly gets to pick a character to get added to the plot!
A warning for this chapter: small girl pretends to be boy and learns bad gesture from 1940's German soldier... (normal stuff for Hetalia, but... don't say I didn't warn you)

Chapter 7
Liechtenstein looked over at her brother. The truck bumped up and down. They had been riding for about an hour and she could just see the barbed wire mess on the edge of the road. The checkpoint to get into Germany.
"Big Bruder?" Liechtenstein asked.
"Yeh?" Switzerland replied.
"Are we sneaking Sweden into Germany?"
"Yeh."
"If we don't tell the soldiers he's in the back, isn't that illegal?"
Switzerland paused. "Yes. But there's a reason."
"What makes a reason good enough to break the law?"
"You're a good person, Lili. Sometimes you just need to follow your heart." Switzerland paused, he debated if he should continue. "As a country, that's especially important."
"Oh, okay." she smiled and looked out the window at the checkpoint. "Big Bruder?"
"Yeh?"
"Will Mr. Austria be at Mr. Germany's house when we get there?"
"Yeh. He's been there for... a while."
"Will I be able to see him?"
Switzerland sighed. Liechtenstein wondered what he would say. She didn't get to see him a lot. She thought he was very nice, and enjoyed listening to his stories. But Switzerland didn't really talk about him. Liechtenstein held her breath as she waited for him to speak.
"We'll see if there's time. I'm sure he'd love to see you." Liechtenstein smiled.
"Thank you, Big Brother!"
"Yeh, yeh. Alright, if they ask your name, you remember what to say?"
"Eric Vogel." Liechtenstein replied. She liked the name, not for herself, but it was a nice name.
"Alright. Here we go." Switzerland pulled the truck over by the side of the road. He stepped out to approach the soldiers coming out of the small shack. Liechtenstein watched him explain something to the soldiers. He pulled out his passport, then pointed at Liechtenstein in the window. The soldiers looked at her. One of them started over to her. He knocked on the side of the truck.
"Excuse me, sir, I need to ask you a few questions." He looked at Liechtenstein. "Name?"
"Vogel, Eric." Liechtenstein responded. Switzerland had taught her to speak with a raspy lisp that made her voice sound deeper and damaged.
The guard looked up quizzically, "What happened to your voice?" He asked. Liechtenstein started to panic. She didn't know what made people's voices do this.
"Animal attack." She remembered her training with her brother. "Tried to bring a squirrel inside. It got my throat. Almost bleed out." She tried to suppress her smile at the added gruesome detail.
"What's your business in das Vaterland?" He bought it! Liechtenstein was proud of herself.
"Weapons import, for the army, from Swiss factories."
"HEY," the other guard called to the one talking to Liechtenstein, "We need to check the back!" The guard started to walk to the back of the truck. Liechtenstein's guard shrugged at her.
"Guess you're good to go." He shrugged and started to turn to join his buddy. Liechtenstein looked up at Switzerland who was making an 'x' with his hands and shaking his head. Don't let them both in the back. Distract him! Liechtenstein didn't know what to do, but she called out.
"Wait!" She tried to think fast. What's that thing they do? She raised her right hand. "What am I supposed to say?"
The guard shook his head and smiled. "Wrong hand, son." He reached over and adjusted her arms through the empty window of the truck. He moved her left arm up and her hand straight out. Liechtenstein tried to hide her fear as she held the position. The guard mirrored the position.
"Thanks." She tried to stutter. She saw her brother come from around the back of the truck, he gave her a thumbs up.
"Alright, everything looks good." The other soldier said to his companion. "They're clear."
Switzerland climbed into the driver's seat and saluted the soldiers. "Danke!" He called.
The guard who had questioned Liechtenstein waved at her. "Good luck."
She waved back. "Danke! Auf Wiedersehen!" She turned her head to watch the two soldiers disappear in the distance. The truck rumbled off down the road.
Switzerland smiled. "Good Job, Lili."
"Thank you, Big Bruder." Liechtenstein smiled. That soldier was nice, she hated having to lie to him. "Will we pass that stop on the way back?"
"We will try to avoid any stops on the way back, but if we can't avoid them, then yes. This one does not have dogs, so we will try to pass this one again."
Liechtenstein smiled and watched the rolling mountains pass by.
Belgium looked out the window at the sky. Netherlands was right, it was going to storm like mad. "We'll need a distraction to get them inside." She whispered.
The circle of countries nodded. Netherlands, Prussia, Norway, Denmark, Czechia and Slovakia, Austria and France all sat around Luxembourg's bed. Belgium held Luxembourg's hand in hers.
"I can get mein bruder out of the way, but now there's France's new puppet state."
"I had nothing to do with her!" France paused. "Maybe we could just leave her in a cabinet to rot the little morveuse!"
Czechia looked at Slovakia. "We can take care of Lavone." She offered.
"Good, it's settled then." The Netherlands stood up and pointed at Denmark and Norway. "You two, come with me. We'll get them to the attic and make sure they're safe. You two," He pointed at France and Austria, "you make sure no-one sees them."
Everyone started to stand up. The Netherlands put his hand on Prussia's shoulder. "Pruisen?"
"Jah?" Prussia's red eyes looked into The Netherland's.
"Don't mess this up."
