My eyes slowly open as I take in the room. I'm not at home, that's for sure but where—. I suddenly remember coming to Moon's house and getting high. I smile at all the pleasant memories until I cringe at the fact that I called her "princess" (Jesus what a loser.) Speaking of Moon, I feel something leaning on me and I look slightly down to see Moon asleep with her head on my chest and her arms wrapped around me. I blush furiously and start to panic. How am I gonna get her off me without waking her up. This is gonna be so awkward if she wakes to realize she's laying on me. I feel her start to stir and I quickly pretend to still be asleep.

I my eyes slowly adjust to the room. I realize that I'm on the couch. It smells oddly wonderful. Smells like old spice deodorant. My blood instantly runs cold as I look up to see that I'm laying on top of Blake who is still asleep. I feel my cheeks grow a solid shade of red as I think about last night. I get up as gently as I can, but I must hit a pressure point because he makes a sound before opening his eyes. We make eye contact for a moment before we both scramble while stuttering and apologizing.
"Uh the definitely weed.." he says while looking intensely at the ground.
"Yeah totally," I say through shallow breaths.
I can't help, but think about how comfortable I was despite the embarrassment. I realized that I'm definitely into Blake and it's gonna be hard to deny it. I check my phone for the time and realize that it's only 8:30am. Good my parents won't be home anytime soon and we'll be at the party by the time they arrive. I can't help, but think about what Blake said about Kyler and them. I always thought of them as friends, but I would never think of them to bully some poor kid. They've been my friends for a long time and I want Blake in our group. He's definitely the hottest one by far. I grab a small trash bag to clean up all the snacks and I hear a vacuum start in the living room.
"At least I don't have to make any beds," I whisper to myself while secretly smiling.
When I get back, Blake is vacuuming the crumbs off of the carpet and looking oddly happy. He's whistling some rock song.
"Hey. Why don't we get some music?" He suggests while smirking at me.
"I agree," I respond giggling and go to grab a speaker.
I smile widely as I can't help, but feel attracted to his slight dorkiness. He's not just hot, but he's cute as well. Even with his bruised up face from his fight yesterday. He doesn't look any worse thankfully the right side of his face is just puffy and his nose is purple. The swelling in his eye is almost gone and replaced by a purple black eye. While Yasmine was talking about how Blake's scars make him ugly, I believe they make him look hotter. I just hope he doesn't see me the same way everyone else does. I hope he doesn't view me as Yasmine's little dumb sidekick. Whenever she's not there I can actually be myself. I play some music and we finish cleaning the room.
"So what's the move before the party?" He asks curiously.
"Well first breakfast," I answer.
"Well what places do you know?" Blake asks.
"There's this truck on the beac that has the best breakfast tacos you'll ever eat. I swear," I say with enthusiasm.
"Alright sounds good to me," He say as his stomach grumbles.
He rubs it with a slight frown and I think more and more about how cute his personality is.

Moon and I listen to music the entire ride and sing along. I realize that I will actually need to run home really fast to grab a swimsuit and get a shower. Thankfully my deodorant is still in effect. The last thing I need is to scare off the girl I'm slowly falling more and more as a result of B.O.. Finally, Moon parks her car and we get out and walk over to the taco truck. I get eggs and chorizo without cheese. She gives me a weird look when I say "no cheese."
"What I don't like cheese," I say lightheartedly.
Moon just shrugs
We sit and eat our tacos mostly in silence. She was right about how good they would be.
"These are amazing," I say with emphasis.
"I told you," she says with a smile.
"What time's the party?" I ask.
"About an hour. Let's head there now," Moon finalizes after looking at her phone.
"Well we could show up late and have a cooler entrance," I say shrugging.
"Wouldn't that be rude?" Moon ask with a look of concern
"Cmon it's not a big deal. Plus first impressions matter in my case," I tease.
"Well what should we do then Mr. impression?" Moon asks in a teasing voice.
"Well I have to run home real quick anyway," I say.
We decide to drive to my street and I bought a cheap pair of sunglasses to hide my black eye from my parents. Once we get to my house, Moon decides to walk to the LaRusso's and I walk toward my place.
