A few days later

"I'll miss you B" Emilio says as he hugs her
'I'll call you as soon as we land Em" she says back
"Seriously guys it's disgusting " Quinn says as we walk up, I'm laughing
"Damn Emilio I didn't realize you were so...whipped" I shoot back as they roll their eyes
I turn to Quinn handing her luggage to the flight attendant when all of a sudden it hits me, she's leaving, again
"None of that San" she says as she tilts my chin up to meet her eyes "It's 6 months and we will be together, we got this right?' She says as I nod
I kiss and hug her one more time as we watch them board the jet. I exhale as Emilio leans against me
"Fabray women" he exhales which makes me laugh

We make it home, as we walk in I get an idea.
"Em" I say he turns around
"Yeah ma?"
"You're all done with your classes right?"
He nods
"Wanna do something crazy" I ask him
All of a sudden he takes off running to his room and returns with a suitcase
"One step ahead of you ma" he smiles
"You wish baby boy, I already had our other stuff sent to the loft" i wink at him
"That's what I'm talking about" he high fives me
"Let me grab my bag and we can go" I tell him as I head to my room

I grab my bag and we head to the airport but there are no flights, So I call my assistant, within 30 minutes we are on the company jet

We arrive to the loft as we part to put our luggage away

My phone buzzes
Lucy - I miss you so much it hurts
Me - I miss you with every beat of my heart
Lucy - I wish I could see you right now
I smile
Me - Come see me then
Lucy - Very funny Lopez

"Emilio"
"Yeah ma?" He comes up to my room
"Do you know where they live? I ask as he nods

We both smirk and take off, 20 minutes later we arrive at their loft in Manhattan
.
I pull out my phone to video call Quinn
"HI BABY" she says with the smile I love, Emilio jumps into frame
"Hey Quinn" he waves
"Hey sweetie" she waves with one finger
"Whatcha doin" I ask
"Were missing you guys, that's what we're doing" I hear Beth yell in the background
.
We both laugh
.
"PUES, OPEN THE DOOR THEN!" Emilio yells as both girls gasp and step out of frame, we head feet shuffling and fighting on who's going to open the door.

"Hi" we both say as Quinn drops the phone
She grabs my jacket and pulls me into a kiss that makes the world disappear
Beth pulls Emilio into the biggest hug, he picks her up swinging her around.

As we pull away I say "I made the mistake of letting you go once Luce, never again"

She smiles as she kisses me again

The moral of the story ladies and gentlemen, always fight for the ones you love, Sometimes we don't get the fairytale ending on the first try but that's okay because when it finally happens... It's Awesome!
