Episode 14 Important Member

The Next Night

XO-IQ had just finished performing when Sun-Hi and Linc walked up to them.

"That was an amazing performance guys", Sun-Hi stated before sniffing. "They grow up so fast."

"Thank you Sun-Hi", Corki said. "And Linc, I heard that you got into TAPA."

"That's right", Linc replied. "But it's just so I can be a member of the It Girls."

"Speaking of the It Girls", Jodi started. "What's their new name now that they have a male member?"

"Still the It Girls", Linc replied. "They made it very clear that I'm only a member of the band until the end of the male solo and duet rounds. After that I'm out."

"Yikes", Jodi started. "They really want to make sure that the 'It Girls' stays just girls in general."

"I don't think they want new members period", Sun-Hi revealed. "They've also made it clear that I'm out after the competition is done. But I'm the one that will have the last laugh, 'cause by then I would've been offered a solo deal."

"You say it babe", Linc said. "And since we're one the topic of the male solo round. Caleb, do you think you're ready for it?"

"Absolutely", Caleb Replied. "Not."

"Huh", Linc said in confusion. "How come?"

"I'm not a singer Linc", Caleb replied. "I'm just the guy that makes the music."

"Hey", Corki started. "Don't talk about yourself like that."

"Corki's right", Jodi agreed. "Remember we wouldn't even be a band if it wasn't for you."

"Thanks guys", Caleb said before sighing sadly. "I wish XO-IQ's fans saw it that way."

"What do you mean", Sun-Hi asked in confusion.

"When ever somebody talks about XO-IQ, they're referring to the three of you", Caleb revealed. "They don't think of me as a member of the band."

After Caleb said this, he imagined himself performing the song 'Unhappy Refrain.'

"Well", Jodi started when he was done. "This is your chance to show everybody that you're just as much as a member of XO-IQ as the rest of us!"

After Jodi said this, Caleb smiled.

The Next Night

Caleb was backstage at Club Ry Ri.

"You nervous", Jodi asked.

"Yep", Caleb replied.

"You've got this", Jodi stated. "I believe in you."

Hearing this caused Caleb to smile again.

"Thanks Jodi", he said.

Then...he took a deep breath and walked onto the stage with the backup dancers.

He took a deep breath again, and then...he performed 'Unknown Mother Goose.'

And when he was done, everybody broke out into a loud applause.
