Story: In This Lifetime Of Us.
Harriet POV
We got home and Mommy was out shopping with Auntie Alice, Auntie Rose, Auntie Anya and Nana Esme. Daddy laid me on the couch and put a blanket over me. I started crying. Today was really scary.
"Daddy!" I cried. He sat next to me and pulled me into his embrace.
"Shh, Shh." He rubbed my back while he kissed my head.
"I was so scared." I whimpered.
"I know, I know." He said and hugged me closer to me.
"Harrie? Are you alright?" Axel asked coming into the room.
"Yeah." I sighed. He sat down next to me when Daddy got up.
"Do you two wanna do some colouring? Axel, I've bought you a Marvel activity book." Daddy offered.
"Yes, please." I whispered. Daddy got my LOL Doll activity book, pencils and Axel's Marvel activity book. I started colouring and after a while I started getting tired. I laid my head on Axel's shoulder and went to sleep.
"Harriet, Harriet. You gotta get up, baby." I heard Daddy's voice through my deep slumber.
"Hm?" I asked startled.
"We gotta get to the Hospital." Daddy told me.
"W-Why?" I asked still sleeping a bit.
"Mommy's gonna have Georgia." Daddy said. I nodded tiredly. Daddy picked me up into his arms and took both me and Axel to the car and strapped us in. I fell asleep again.
Edward POV
I just ad to take a picture. Harriet and Axel were both asleep in the car on the way to the hospital. I took the picture and was going to show Bella when we got to the hospital. Apparently Carlisle and Esme were already there. We pulled up at the hospital and Harriet and Axel were both still fast asleep. I texted Esme to ask if she could come and get Axel from the car. She came to the car and was bombarded with cuteness.
She picked Axel up and out of his car seat while I did the same with Harriet. We went into the Hospital, the nurses all were like 'Aww'.
"Are they both yours?" Maggie, one of the nurses asked.
"This ones mine. That ones my nephew." I told her and walked down the hallway to the lift, which we took up to the maternity ward. I knocked on room 699, I heard Bella say quietly 'come in'.
"Hello." I whispered and entered with Esme. I saw William, Anya, Carlisle, Rose, Emmett, Alice, Jasper and Jonas there. Jonas was sleeping in Jasper!s arms. Esme passed Axel over to William who rocked him in his arms.
"Harriet got sent home from school today." I told Bella.
"What?! Why?!" She asked sitting up quickly.
"It's ok. She banged her head and that triggered a seizure. Me and Carlisle were there in minutes." I explained to her.
"Oh! Is she al- Fuck!" She yelled and I was by her stand taking her hand in mine. I'm surprised that none of the kids have woken up yet.
"Edward, would you like me to take Harriet to the big house with the others while Bella has Georgia?" Esme asked I nodded. Esme took Harriet out of my arms and out of the room.
Esme POV
I took Harriet to the big house. Carlisle told us that it would be awhile before Bella had Georgia. Edward texted me after we left saying that Harriet doesn't have to go to school tomorrow. Neither does Axel according to Anya and Will. I put Harriet straight to bed when we got home, she was still asleep. Probably really tired. Tomorrow would be a lazy day. PJ day as Axel calls it. I got to bed and fell asleep instantly.
Anya POV
I was asleep until I heard crying coming from Harriet's bedroom. I got up quietly and went to her room. I opened the door and saw Harriet on the floor crying out. She was convulsing, which only meant one word. Seizure. I ran to her side and moved everything that was close to her. I put a soft folded jumper underneath her head before I called for help.
"Will!" I called loudly he appeared at the door tiredly.
"Oh my god!" He gasped and ran to grab Carlisle. He came back with Carlisle who rushed to her side and started timing the seizure. Harriet woke up a few minutes after. She burst into tears. Everyone in this family knows how much it scares Harriet when she has a seizure, you'd have to be living under a rock to not know that.
"Daddy!" She cried.
"Daddy's with Mommy at the Hospital right now. Grandpa's here and so is Auntie Anya and Uncle Will." Carlisle explained to her.
"Auntie Anya!" She cried holding her arms out for me to pick her up. Carlisle nodded in approval. I picked her up and she sobbed into me. Will and Carlisle went back to bed. When it got to 4 AM Harriet was still crying and we were pacing the living room. She didn't stop crying at all. It got to 7 AM and I heard everyone start to get up.
"Hey, Esme." I said as she entered the room. She looked very worried when she saw Harriet crying.
"What happened?" She asked coming over.
"She had a seizure at 12 AM. She hasn't stopped crying since then. I have been up with her since the seizure. I'm exhausted." I told Esme. She looked sorry.
"Go to bed. I'll look after her." She said. I passed Harriet over and went up to bed.
