Gucci Mane LaFlare: Glad you liked Owen and Izzy, as they were hell to write for.

AnonBrowser: Hello again, it's nice to see another person who liked Ozzy that episode, and those are some interesting predictions.

Picochu: You have a lot of good points, the aftermath episode wasn't my best work at all, but I'm glad you liked the neck beard, cause I did, even though I already forgot his name.

Guest: I guess you immediately get a notification from your own phone my friend.

The Chefshank Redemption

The Total Drama series doesn't belong to me, as it's owned by Fresh TV.

The screen faded in from blackness, showing a scorching sun. "Last week, the dry desert heat baked our favorite partners like roadkill on the blacktop." Chris started from the b-roll. "Crispy bottoms or not, they still had to mount their steed from a hundred foot platform, haha haha!" Chris laughed, as the frightened faces of the contestants jumping were shown. "That wasn't all though, the calf roping contest had the teams lasso, each other!" Clips of the Gaffers roping up the Grips was shown. "In the end, Dakota's refusal to be useful caused Scott to go behind her back, and work with his teammates to eliminate her." Dakota's elimination was played next. "Dakota ended the episode hitching a ride in the Lame-o-sine, and now there are only ten players left!" The footage shifted to Chris standing in front of the two cast trailers, the two teams next to him. "Who will win this week? Will it be the Gaffers?"

"Hey!" Anne Maria callee out, feeling offended.

"Lightning can't believe it, he's on a team of sha-losers!" The jock responded.

"Oh come on, winning isn't everything." Brick stated, Lightning chases out of him in pure rage.

"Right." Chris said doubtfully. "Will they actually? Find out here on

Total

Drama

Action!"

(Cue intro)

The episode faded into a more peaceful setting than last episode, where everyone was sleeping. The camera zoomed into the boy's cast trailer, all of them sleeping peacefully. Just like the second challenge, Brick's military alarm clock woke up everyone. Lightning jumped out of bed quickly. "Move out of the way! Lightning's gotta make a confession!" Lightning pulled on the door, but it wouldn't come open. "Come on door, open the Lightning!" He said again.

Brick marched up to Lightning. "Hmm, that's odd. This usually works. If not, we can always use a good old fashion bashing." Brick shrugged.

"Did somebody say bashing?" Scott asked, he appears to be fully awake, with that classic smirk on his face.

XXX

"There I was, on the one yard line, ready to score a touchdown and win the superbowl." Lightning narrated, and suddenly looked angry. "When the coach woke him up with his alarm clock again! If he does that one more time, he's gonna be struck by Lightning!" Lightning flexed.

XXX

Mike walked near the other three boys, B was now awake and fiddling with Brick's alarm clock, and Sam was hiding under his covers. "Hey guys, what's all the commotion?"

"Chris may have locked us in here like sardines, it's like a jail cell in here." Brick answered.

Mike yawned, still tired from his sleep. "Yeah, I've been there before. It's not a pretty place." The other three including B looked at him oddly, Mike suddenly wasn't tired anymore. "Well, just ignore what I said there ok?" Mike asked, not wanting the conversation to continue, the others just kept quiet.

Brick spoke again. "You know, he may need to result in bashing the door in, we practiced it a lot in boot camp." B gave a thumbs up to Brick, and began working on a weapon for the job.

/

The camera zoomed out of the guy's trailer, and moved on over to the girl's. Jo was trying her best to push the door open, not really working with anybody else. "You know, there are more ways to exit this place than just the doors right?" Dawn asked, Jo glared at her.

"Yeah, I know, that's why I assigned apology breath to window duty." Jo said, the camera moved over, and Zoey was indeed trying to pry open the windows.

Anne Maria shrugged. "So? Who cares if we're locked in this dump? As long as I get to do my makeup and hair I don't see any problems here."

"Well yes, but haven't any of you seen the top hatch?" Dawn asked, the girls in the trailer looked up and spotted a hatch at the top.

"Oh, well nice job pasty, we can get somebody to the top this way." Jo responded.

XXX

"Dawn has her uses, but that doesn't excuse the fact that she's a threat." Jo states. "Yesterday, she told me that a citizen of the universe will come back to greet us, like what does that even mean?"

XXX

/

Back at the boy's trailer, everybody was holding onto a long metal bar, about to run at the door at full force. "On three." Brick started. "One, two, three!" The six boys ran at the door at full speed, shouting a battle cry. At the last second, the door was opened, and the six guys tried to stop, but fell on the stairs through their way out, crashing into each other. The girls were already out, looking at the guys with disappointment.

"Hello everyone, welcome back to your first taste of the gulag." Chris introduced.

"Gulag?" Sam questioned. "Just like the ones in Modern Massacre Two." Sam sighed.

XXX

"I'll be honest, I haven't been doing the best in a while." Sam confesses. "Ever since Dakota left, I haven't touched a video game console all week, even though one of mine is broken." Sam showed his console to the camera, and it was indeed broken.

XXX

"Mike was in the confessional, and his hair was down on one side over his eye. Mike just giggled creepily.

XXX

"Well, if that game wasn't bad, prepare for today's challenge to be a whole lot worse than that." Chris threatened. "If you couldn't tell, today, is prison flic day!" Chris said menacingly. The contestants groaned. "Ah prison, the confinement, the claustrophobia, and you're always looking over your shoulder, because Me. Killer dude, wants to cut ya for taking the last tater tot!" Chris's narration was intimidating, and seemed to scare Mike, Zoey, and Brick, while others like Scott and Jo could care less. "No matter how hard you try, digging out spoonfuls of dirt, year after year, there's no escape!" The music suddenly went blank. "Unless you get voted off of course."

XXX

"A little bit of overkill, don't you think Chris?" Scott blankly stated.

XXX

The scene shifted to a prison-like setting, with two jail cells, and two tables in front of them, the Grips were standing at one side, while the Gaffers were on the other. "Lockdown people, let's get this challenge started!" Chris introduces. "Teams, take a prisoner from the competition, and Chef, I mean, Warden." Chef seemed pleased with his new nickname. "Lock em up."

At the Grips, the six team members were discussing who to choose. "I think we should go with Lightning." Zoey suggested. "I've had my encounters with jocks in the past, and none of them seem to have that strong of a stomach."

Jo agreed with Zoey. "Nice choice red, I doubt sha-airhead can take that much."

On the Gaffers side, they seemed a lot more positive on their choice. "Remember that time Dawn locked us out of the trailers just to talk with the termites?" Anne Maria questioned, Scott nodded.

"Of course, Dawn is such an easy opponent that we have this victory in the bag." The dirt farmer backed up.

"Yeah, creepy girl will crack for sure!" Lightning decided.

"Alright, I assume you've made your choices, so Gaffers, what will it be?" Chris asked.

"Dawn." Brick said.

"Oh, well, if you want me to, then I'll oblige." Dawn followed.

"Alright Grips, what will your choice be?" Chris asked.

"We'll choose Lightning." Jo said. Lightning gasped.

"The first part of today's challenge is the prison luncheon!" Chris announced, then faltered. "Hey wait, why did you guys choose your targets based on food?"

"Well, we could smell it from here." Sam replied. "It smells worse than my room during the summer."

Chris glared, but it quickly dropped. "Today's meal is the nastiest, grossest, and barf inducing stuff from the trash. Zoey almost puked from the look, and Scott rubbed his hands together in a look of hunger. "Your inmates must eat as much gross food that the other team prepares as they can, while the last to spew chunks wins."

Chef escorted Dawn and Lightning to their cells. "Well, as long as it has protein, Lightning should be fine."

XXX

Sam scratched the back of his head. "Well, I really gotta prove myself to the rest of the team." Sam sighed. "I haven't really done much for them, and if we lose I'm sure to get kicked."

XXX

"May I ask what the reward of this challenge will be?" Dawn asked.

"You don't need to know." Chris answered. "When was the last time I've let you guys down." Chris pauses. "Wait, don't answer that." Chris pulled out a golden shovel, seemingly out of nowhere. "The winning team will get this beauty!"

"What are we gonna do with a sha-yellow shovel?" Lightning asked.

XXX

Sam chuckled. "Aw yeah, nice power up."

XXX

"Prisoners ready! And, colonate!" A horn blew off as Chris announced the challenge starting. As the Gaffers started making the gross feast, Chris narrated. "Seems like Scott is taking out the cockroaches for the eating! And Brick is pouring some boot juice for some soup, topping it off with mud!"

"Ey yo! Can I ask how you got so much juice in that thing?" Anne Maria yelled, pinching her nose.

Brick shrugged. "I don't know, I just sweat from running a lot." Brick and Anne Maria walked off, and it was time for the Grips to do their work.

/

"Good job with the hair brushes Zoey, these should be good." Jo took out the dead hair, colored red out of the hair brushes, and put it in the put.

XXX

Zoey held one of the hair brushes she gave to Jo in her hand. "I use a different brand of hair brushes than most girls." Zoey said enthusiastically. "These can get out more hair than most other brushes do and-" A knocking came from the outside of the confessional, coming from Chris.

"Zoey! Stop wasting valuable confessional time, nobody cares about your hair products!"

XXX

Over at the Grips table again, Jo was mixing the pot, when B came by to take off his hat. "What's this?" Chris called out. "B squeezes sweat from his cap to make a delicious and salty soup!" Chris laughed. "Time's up, Grips, present your meal to Lightning please."

"Hope your stomach is as strong as you say it is you are jockstrap." Jo teased.

Lightning took on the challenge. "You think Lightning can't digest it? You're on Jo!" Lightning shoves a spoonful of the food in his mouth, and instantly slows down with his eyes widening.

Anne Maria gave the Gaffer's meal to Dawn. "Don't spew ya guts out dollie." The jersey girl challenged, Dawn didn't seem bothered.

"Eaters ready, and start!" Chris announced.

Lightning quickly shoved a spoonful of the Grip's food in his mouth, and immediately gagged and had tears form in his eyes. Dawn looked at her food and hesitated. "Is that, cockroaches? I'm sorry, I can't eat this."

XXX

"I'm vegan, it isn't right to consume the creatures of this universe." Dawn confessed.

XXX

"What? Are you kidding me? You better suck it up and eat that!" Jo yelled at Dawn, but it was too late, Lightning had already finished.

"Sha-yes! Lightning in first place!" The Gaffers cheered at Lightning winning, Chris held his hand up in the air.

"Lightning managed to keep it down for the Gaffers, and win the reward!" Chris announced, handing Lightning the golden shovel of for his team. Jo and B glared at Dawn.

"Well, my apologies, we should just try harder during the next challenge then." Jo and B's glared intensifies, while Sam backs away quietly.

/

Over on the outside of the prison set, the two teams were standing next to two laundry carts, and an obstacle course in front of them. "Elimination challenge, here we go, no get out of jail free cards here people." Chris started. "This is the great escape from Total Drama pen. Each team must hop in their laundry karts, while driving by the obstacle course to freedom." Chris explained the challenge, and flashes showcasing the course was shown. "Once you reach the wall, you must dig your way under it, and get to the boxcars to freedom, last team to get back must lock up one of their members! Now convicts, select a pusher."

The Gaffers huddled up into a discussion. "Alright team, I suggest we draw straws to see who gets to push." Brick suggested.

Scott pushes him towards the cart. "Yeah right, we all know you're the one who's gonna push this thing, and if you don't, we're voting you off." Scott threatened.

XXX

"Scott wouldn't throw me under the bus that easily right?" Brick questioned. "Right?"

XXX

Over on the Grips, the team was having a much harder time deciding. "I'm doing the pushing for the challenge." Jo stated, most of the team seemed to agree with her.

"Uhh, well, I think I could probably push the cart." Sam suggested.

Jo laughed. "Yeah right game guy, just get in the kart and follow orders." Jo pushed Sam in the cart, and he was buried in laundry. Mike hoped in the cart after him, while Zoey and Dawn did the same, despite being a bit hesitant. B also jumped in, but the groaning and complaining of the Grips made him blush.

XXX

"Looking back, maybe I should've made B push the kart." Jo admitted.

XXX

/

Chris held up a megaphone. "This is it teams, on your mark, get set, escape!" Brick pushed his cart fast out of adrenaline, while the Gaffers cheered, Jo did the same, but was slowed down by the bigger weight. Brick passed by the prisoners and swinging punching bags, while Jo did the same, but the cart was thrown into the water by a punching bag.

"Oh come on!" Jo yelled, while the Grips were losing hope, Sam had a plan.

"No, this isn't game over yet, it's game on!" Sam swam towards the cart, and pulled it out of the water. Jo, Zoey, and Mike went along with it, and swam towards him.

/

The Gaffers were still in the lead, but the Grip's cart came by quickly, being pushed by Sam, as he and Jo had swapped places. "Eh, that's gotta be against the rules or something right?" Anne Maria yelled.

"Yeah! Lightning's had some cheap plays before, but this is just unfair!" The jock agrees.

Chris called the teams on a megaphone. "Hey, as long as the Grips select a pusher, it's fine by me!"

/

The Grips were speeding up fast, and approaching the wall fast. Zoey noticed and tried to get Sam's attention. "Uhh, Sam?" Mike noticed too.

"Sam!" The Gaffers sans B screamed as the approached the wall, eventually crashing into it, emptying them on the ground and destroying the cart.

"Oh, oops, sorry guys." Sam chuckled, and Jo handed him a spoon.

"No time for apologies, get digging clumsy and bashful." Jo demanded.

/

The Gaffers have finally made it to the wall, and Brick passed out from exhaustion. "Come on! We gotta escape from this sha-prison!" Lightning jumped out of the cart and immediately began digging.

"Aw yeah, move those arms!" Anne Maria complemented, Lightning started working harder, and Sam tried to step up the pace.

/

The suspenseful music cut out for a second, as the scene flashed to Chris sitting in one of the boxcars. "So, you ever seen that prison flic, the one with the guy in it, the one with the face?" Chris asked, Chef just raised an eyebrow. "So, were you gonna do anything after work?" Chef didn't respond. "I wasn't doing anything either anyway, just, I'm just throwing that out there."

/

The scene flashed back to the Gaffers digging their way through the dirt, with Anne Maria being the most annoyed. "Ugh, this dirt is gonna ruin all my hair. Lightning, you gonna get us through here fast right?"

Lightning was confident as ever. "Of course sexy girl, Lightning always comes out on top! Sha-bam!"

Over next to Scott, Brick was barely doing anything his his small shovel, Scott glared at him. "Ok, I know Lightning has that golden shovel and all, but are you going to do something or not?"

Brick gulped. "I'm sorry ok, I'm just very scared of the dark." Digging was heard in the distance. "Who's that!?"

Scott hit him on the head with his spoon. "Relax, it's probably just a gopher or something."

/

The Grips have been making much better progress, as Sam was still doing well. "Hey wait, don't go that way, there's a little gopher family that doesn't want to be bothered." Dawn said, Sam turned around to go in a different direction.

Mike pauses his digging for a second. "I'm saying it now Sam, I severely underestimated you." Mike's smile changed to one of confusion, when a robot with spoons taped to its side passed by him. It went past Sam too, and began digging with him.

Zoey offered B a high-five. "Hey, nice job B!" B accepted the compliment and high-fives Zoey in return.

XXX

"You know, sometimes I forget B is even on our team." Zoey confesses. "I mean, he doesn't even talk, but at the very least, when I do remember him, he's being really useful."

XXX

Sam and the machine stopped digging, as a crack had formed in the dirt, Dawn had told them to stop. A lone prairie dog jumped out of the crack, and shook its fist angrily at the Grips. "It's ok friend, don't you try and be angry, we mean no harm to you." Dawn said, the prairie dog started panting like an actual dog. The prairie dog whispered something in Dawn's ear, and pointed in a direction. "Oh really? Come on team, Miles here has a shortcut, let's follow him!"

Jo rolled her eyes. "Well, what are we airing for? Let's win!"

/

The scene flashed to above ground, where a rock was moved by the hands of Jo. "Aw yeah first here, I-" Jo was interrupted by the cheering of the Gaffers. "What the? How did you get here first?"

"It was sha-easy!" Lightning bragged. "Lightning always finishes first!" Anne Maria hugged Lightning, while Brick kissed the ground.

Sam pokes his head out of the ground and got out of the hole. "Oh, we lost, looks like it's game over." Sam and Jo suddenly looked up when they heard screaming from up above. "Hey! Dakota!" Dakota nocked Sam off his feet, tackling him.

"Hey Sam, it's good to be back!" Dakota said.

"Ah, Dakota, it's great to see you've finally arrived, and late on the job at that." Chris said, disappointed with Dakota.

Dakota seemed to be unbothered. "I know, you don't have to tell me twice."

"Wait, what does he mean by job?" Zoey asked.

XXX

Dakota was in the confessional, now in an intern costume. "Cameron said that the best way to join the game is to Chris's work for him." Dakota said. "We contacted Chris, and he said that he had a low supply of interns, so now I'm working for something for the first time in my life, waiting for my time to join the game."

XXX

/

The camera zoomed into the craft services tent, where the two teams were eating, and the Grips were discussing their inevitable elimination. "I would like some more peas, Chef, it's perfect for almost every meal." Brick asked, Chef basically pouring the whole bowl of peas on his plate, making some fall on the floor.

The Grips were discussing who they were going to eliminate, with nobody wanting to speak. "So, I was thinking, maybe we should vote off, umm…" Mike spoke, but trailed off.

"Well, yeah, uhh, we should." Zoey tried to start up a conversation, but it was no use.

/

The gilded Chris intro played, as it was time for elimination, and the Grips sat on their seats for the second time since the show started, but first time as a team. The Grips all press their voting devices, unsure if they were making the right decision. "Times up! I'll tell you the votes, Dakota, if you would please throw the statues for me." Dakota was standing next to Chris in a pink dress, holding five statues in her arms. "Alright, Mike, Zoey, and B are all safe." The three safe Grips caught their statues with a smile. "The penultimate gilded Chris goes too…

Sam and Dawn looked at each other nervously. "Sam, you're on the chopping block for not really being useful to your team up until now, and Dawn's here for spewing the feast, and leading you guys in the wrong direction." Sam and Dawn both looked ready to accept their fate. "The last gilded Chris goes too…

Sam caught his statue without saying a word, while Dawn just stood up. "Oh well, I've failed my team, and it was time to go, I've accepted my loss." Chris laughed, making Dawn confused. "Hmm, why are you laughing at my defeat?" Dawn asked.

Chris laughed again. "Silly Dawn, you're not leaving the show, just your team!" Dawn looked even more confused, and so did the rest of the Grips, Chris just looked annoyed. "I mean you're switching teams, you're on the Gaffers now, so enjoy your new team!"

"What?!" The rest of the team yelled, except for B.

XXX

"While I'm excited for my second chance at the game, I just feel like it's wrong to get another chance, especially given how it was supposed to be my time to go." Dawn admitted. "Even worse, I have a feeling a dark and nasty entity is awaiting for me on that team, it seems w I'll have to do some searching."

XXX

Zoey walked over and hugged Dawn. "You were a great friend, it's a shame we'll be competing against each other now." Zoey said, Mike gave Dawn a goodbye wave, and Jo shook her hand.

"You were a good teammate, make sure to tell Brick he's a loser for me." Jo teased.

XXX

"I'm not gonna do that." Dawn confessed.

XXX

/

Chris was still at the stage, in his suit. "Well, that wraps up this episode of Total Drama Action. How will Dawn deal with her new team? Will Brick ever get over his fear of the dark? And will we ever find out how Sam's game guy was broken? Find out on the next exciting episode of

Total!

Drama!

Action!"

(Cue credits)

The scene was in the middle of the night, and Dawn was walking to her trailer, Zoey pacing behind her. "Being on a new team will be hard, but at the very least, I won't have to stay away from my new friend Zoey."

Zoey smiles. "You actually consider me your friend? Thank you so much!"

Dawn looked back at Zoey and smiled. "Your welcome, I wish you luck to your relationship with Mike." Dawn walked away, while Zoey froze.

"You mean relationship in a friendly way, right?" Zoey asked, but didn't get a response.

Votes:

Dawn 6; Mike, B, Sam, Dawn, Jo, Zoey.

Elimination order:

Cameron, Staci, Dakota,

Remaining contestants:

Killer Grips: Jo, Mike, Zoey, B, Sam.

Screaming Gaffers: Brick, Anne Maria, Lightning, Scott, Dawn.

Author's note:

Well, I bet none of you were expecting that one huh? Dawn swapped teams, which is my way of featuring an elimination, while keeping the same number of contestants around in canon. In an old draft, this was just a reward challenge entirely, but I thought it would be boring for there to be three non-elimination episodes in a row, so I did some replanning and made it a team swap instead, which is weird, because Action is the only season with no team swaps. Another thing about drafts was the fact that Chef was supposed to host this challenge, but when writing the episode, I completely forgot about it, but when I remembered, it was too late, and doing so would require me to rewrite the entire episode, so the concept was scrapped, but don't worry, I plan to have Chef host another challenge, so don't cry Chef fans.
