"In all my years of living, I have never seen anything this beautiful."
After making it to the Yureimoto Family Estate, Ben couldn't help but admire all the Yokai that resided in it, even though the Yureimoto's did their best to hide him and Sam from their prying gazes.
Ena had gotten around to showing the estate's view of the entire forest, along with a pool and hot tub that had a great view of a magnificent garden. Erma was most certainly awestruck by it all.
"And last but not least, the dining room!"
Ena showed a rather lavish looking dining room, complete with a table that had eight seats, the ones on the ends of the table being bigger than the ones of the sides.
"So. What do you guys think?"
"I've got to say, this is QUITE the home you guys have."
"No lie about that...does this place have, like, you know..." Ben blushed awkwardly as Ena floated her head over to him.
"What?"
"Well..." Ben whispered the words into Ena's ears and her moonlit white face glowed a bright red. Sam could already tell what he asked her but Erma and her cute innocent mind were confused.
"U-Um..." Ena whispered before shyly nodding her head as Ben also blushed before giving a grateful smile and nodding. Suddenly, a scream from Kenji, a cyclops yokai, and Ena's faithful assistant ran into the dining room, a whole load of ice cubes in his pants as he was chasing Mitsu and Momo angrily.
"I see my little monsters are giving you a hard time?" Ben asked as Kenji furrowed his brow.
"You don't even know the half of it..."
"Aren't they the most thoughtful little cuties?" Ena asked as Ben chuckled.
"Cute, yes. Thoughtful? I doubt it."
Mitsu looked away while Momo also avoided his gaze but had a small bashful blush on her face. Ben gave his daughters a playful smile before Emiko and Yori arrived with some startling news.
"Not here? As in, they're not coming?" Sam asked in surprise.
"No. Apparently, they're running late." Emiko then gave Yori a look. "I wish SOMEONE would've told us on the way over here."
"Hey! I found out about this at the last minute. Like RIGHT before I went to pick you guys up."
Erma was watching the adults discuss the situation from a couch before turning and noticing Mayumi hiding away in her room but peeking through the door. Soon, Fumiko and Haru arrived, Haru was carrying what appeared to be an art set and began painting a picture on a canvas.
"I'm lost here, what are you doing?"
"I'm creating a shortcut, Benjamin. I'm sorry..." She then turned to Emiko, Sam, Erma, and Ben. "But you four need to leave."
"What?" Emiko asked flatly.
"Hold the fucking phone, sister!" Ben said. "If you think I'm just gonna turn by back here, you're nuts!"
"I agree with Ben. We're not leaving." Emiko said firmly.
"Emiko, you know more than anyone that word will no doubt get to the village soon enough. Things were already going to be hectic with you returning but you brought your husband, child, and another human who has no business with us here."
"Actually, I think this IS my business!" Ben said, stepping up. "I just recently reunited with the love of my goddamn life AND found out that I have two daughters that I wasn't able to be a part of in their lives! I'm not throwing away this chance to reconnect with the woman I love nor my children!"
"Ben..." Yori softly said as Kentaro gave his younger sister a wink.
"That guy's a keeper for sure, Sis."
"Emiko's husband, I can understand his courage and general acceptance...but what about you? What makes you special?" Fumiko coldly asked Ben as he leaned in forward with a grin.
"Simple. I've been trained in Military-Grade CQC, picked up some martial arts here and there when I was in college, won 1st place in a marksmanship contest, and also disemboweled a fucking Black Bear. I think I can take care of myself."
Fumiko realized that both Emiko and Ben weren't backing down in their decisions and sighed, closing the portal in the canvas and walking off with Haru. The family watched them leave before Kentaro gave Sam a pat on the back.
"Whelp! You guys must be hungry! So what'll it be, Sam?"
"Whatever doesn't crawl around in my stomach, I guess."
Erma looked up at Ben, who looked down at her and gave a reassuring smile, squatting down to rub her head affectionately.
"Don't worry, Oreo, I'm not going anywhere."
Erma let out a silent giggle as Ben walked off to join Kentaro and Sam for some food, turning to Yori one last time and blowing a kiss in her direction as she smiled, a small blush on her cheeks as Emiko smiled.
"So...how did you two meet anyway?"
Erma also wanted to learn more of how her Auntie Yori and now-officially-Uncle Ben met. The Rokurokubi woman blushed a scarlet red as she laughed awkwardly while Emiko and Erma gave her teasing grins.
*Omake: How Mitsu and Momo were conceived*
Ever since they met at the festival, Ben and Yori had been seeing each other regularly. However, right now, they had gone out for drinks together as well as Karaoke, and...they were now legit shit-face drunk.
"You're soooo pertty..."
"No, you're preeeety!"
"No, f***, you're sexxxxxehhhhh..." Ben slurred as Yori's neck stretched, causing him to lazily widen one eye.
"Whoooooooaaaa...din't know you could due dat..."
"A course I caaaaan! O-only the fella I marry gets to seeeee...Youse better take respon...respon...Yosue better take care of me!" Yori slurred, her neck doing all kinds of weird but cute twists as Ben cupped her cheeks in his hands.
"Of coursh I'll take care of yaaaa..." Both of them kissed each other on the lips passionately, feeling heat overtake them as they fell down and began removing clothing.
Elsewhere, after having reunited with Sam and cuddling with him in their bed, Emiko perked up.
"Something just happened to my sister..."
"The one who helped you escape?"
"Yes...she snagged herself a man."
I had to make that Omake, I just had too.
