Chapter 14 Give Gifts Thing!

Third Person POV

The Next Day

CJ: My friends and I were in the car on our way home from our camping trip.

"See Fen", CJ started. "I told you that you wouldn't be eaten by a bear."

"Okay", Fenwick started. "Okay. You were right."

Hearing this made CJ giggle.

"Anyway", she started changing the subject. "I got an idea for our next thing while we were camping out last night."

"What is it", Fenwick asked.

CJ answered by showing him and Crispo her phone.

Thing #38 Buy gifts for our teachers.

"Buy gifts for our teachers", Crispo asked. "Why? It's not Christmas. Are all their birthdays coming up?"

"No silly", CJ replied. "It's my last month being a student at Pootatuck, and I want to get our teachers gifts to thank them for what they've done for me."

"All of them", Crispo asked in confusion.

"As many of them as I can", CJ replied.

"That's very thoughtful of you honey", CJ's mom pointed out.

"It sure is", her dad agreed. "In fact, your mom and I can help you pay for the gifts."

"Really", CJ asked in shock.

"Of course", her mom replied. "Our daughter wants to do something thoughtful. Why wouldn't we help with that?"

"Thanks mom and dad", CJ said.

Then, she went to a different list on her phone.

"Okay", she started. "So here's a list of teachers and what gifts I think would be best for them..."

CJ: So here's all the gifts we ended up getting in the end.

We got Mr Bandt a fancy conductors wand, Mr Bored a History book (he actually kind of smiled), Miss Claymore a homemade pot, Mrs Knapp a pillow to sleep on, Coach LeBeau a new whistle, Mr Slinko a chemistry set and the lunch lady new cooking utensils.

We were now currently giving Mr Roberts his gift, a new mug.

"Thanks guys", he said.

"You're welcome", CJ and her friends replied.

Then, they saw Principal Hader.

"Excuse me", CJ said before walking up to her. "Principal Hader."

"What do you want", Principal Hader asked.

"I wanted to give you this", CJ replied. "Since I'm not going to be here next year, I wanted to give you a gift."

With that, Principal Hader took the gift and opened it, revealing a new power suit.

She then gave a simple 'thank you' and left.
