Chapter 7: The Abduction
As Think and his friends March their way toward route 2 he encounters an unexpected obstacle. A 10 year old kid with a paper hat marches up to Think wearing a light green shirt with dark blue jeans with black sneakers and shouts " Hey let's battle !" Think faces the trainer and brought out Charmander. " Alright Charmander lets do this ! This is the perfect chance to strengthen ourselves for the Silvent City Gym ! We have to win. " Charmander nods and faces the trainer.
" Is that all ? How weak ! Come on out Wurmple ! " The trainer sends out a small insect like creature with two horns on its head and two yellow horns on its back and its front horn is yellow with large eyes. "A Wurmple ?"
Think shouts and uses the Pokédex. " Wurmple the Worm Pokemon it primarily feeds on sap from trees." Think grins " I have the type advantage this won't be too hard ! Charmander use ember !" Charmander charges forward and instead uses scratch.
" Wurmple Use string shot on Charmanders hand." Charmanders hand was struck with string shot. Oh no not again Think thought. " Charmander use Scratch with your other hand to break the string shot ! " Charmander nods and uses its other arm to use scratch which slices through the sticky substance. " Now Charmander use ember at Wurmple !"
Charmander stares at Think annoyingly and uses growl then uses multiple scratches on Wurmple. On the final scratch the Wurmple faints. " Wurmple No !" The trainer shouts then the trainer sends out another Wurmple. " Alright C'mon We have to work together! Let's try this one more time , Charmander use ember and this time you have to do it !" Charmander this time obeys and spews a small ball of fire at Wurmple and Wurmple is taken down. " Oh no Wurmple !" Think sighs and then speaks to his friends.
" At least We won right Charmander ?" Charmander shrugs then stares at a Pidgey a flying type Pokémon gliding through the air past Route 1. The group of friends then toward The gate to Cheshma town. Until someone shouts at the group. It was a officer who works at Mitis Town guarding the Local police department at Mitis Town. He shouts at Think and his friends. Jake stares at the officer " Think what does the Police officer want ? James did you steal something from the lab ?!"
James waves his finger. " No way I would never steal from the Pokémon lab I love the lab and I love all their Pokémon and their books about the Johto region." The Police officer walks toward the group and asks Think to come with him to Mitis Town. " Wait where are we going? " Dan says as the Police officer answers " We're going to your house young man... Im sorry I'm afraid there was an abduction." Thinks heart drops and his skin turns white as paper. " a...a... an abduction ?!"
The Police officer nods sadly. " Yes now tell your friends to come with me as well." The group nods and they head back towards Mitis Town. The group arrives at Mitis Town and they all gasp. Police officers are everywhere on sight. The groups fellow neighbors are staring at a house... Thinks house. Think eyes widen " Mom, Dad !!! Where are they ?!" The Police officer that was with them was about to say something until the Professor from the Pokémon lab Professor Cypress arrives.
" Think I am so sorry let me explain. Think your parents were abducted by a group of people we don't know for sure but we suspect they were called Team Eclipse a highly advanced team of goons who needed your parents for information." Think shouts angrily " About what ?!" The Professor expression was sad. " They kidnapped them for there knowledge because after all your parents are famous archeologists all around Roria and they needed information about a legendary Pokémon so they took them away."
Think gritted his teeth and yelled " Those punks why ... I'm going to make them pay for this ! I swear it... I'm gonna get my parents back !" The professors expression widened " No Think you're still a beginner you have no Idea what they can do to a boy like you. They can steal your Pokémon or even worse brainwash you to make you part of their side !" " I know but..." Professor Cypress shouted " No buts ! the routes are too dangerous ! Head toward Chesma Town and one of my friends will greet you and your friends into her house."
Think looks at his friends their expression determined and frightened at the same time. " Will you guys..." " Of course we're your pals." Dan says " We won't abandon you not ever !" James says and Jake, Dan both nod their heads in agreement. " Alright Professor Cypress we'll go straight to Cheshma town and meet with your friend. The Professor nods and the group sets off toward route 1 again but this time determined to stop Team Eclipse.
