The Doctor stood in front of Vincent, trying to calm him down as he waved the pitchfork around wildly. "It's the Doctor, look. No one else is here. So, Vincent-."
"Look out!" Vincent shouted.
Something rammed into the Doctor, throwing him to the ground. Amy shrieked as the invisible creature roared and shredded one of Vincent's paintings.
"I can't see anything! What is it?" Amy asked.
Whatever it was, Vincent tried to fight it off.
The Doctor stood up, floating almost involuntarily in fear. "That is a good question." He grabbed a strong stick and joined Vincent. "Let me help you."
"You can see him too?" Vincent questioned.
"Yes." The Doctor flew around a different area of the yard, jabbing the stick. "-Ish. Well, no. Not really."
The creature roared and knocked the Doctor out of the air. He crashed through a vase of irises on a table and landed at Vincent's feet.
"You couldn't see him?" Vincent asked.
"No." The Doctor jumped up and waved the stick around with a battle cry.
It roared, seemingly in pain. The Doctor continued waving the stick, hoping to drive it away now that he had hurt it.
"He's gone," Vincent said.
The Doctor dropped to the ground and dropped the stick as he spun around, trying to pretend he knew it already. "Oh, right. Yes, of course."
"Whoa, there you are, you poor thing. You brutal, murderous, abandoned thing. I hope we meet again soon so I can take you home," the Doctor said.
The Krafayis appeared in the mirror behind him. It roared.
"Maybe not that soon," the Doctor said. He took a running jump into the air and flew away from the monster as it chased him.
He periodically looked into the mirror to see how close the creature was. It managed to keep up with him. He tried to shake it off, but he couldn't lose it. He knocked over tables and boxes as he flew by, trying to slow it down.
It finally gave up the chase. The Doctor flew around a corner and floated to the ground. He rested his head against the wall.
