Class 1-A meets...
Chapter seven: Meeting one's hero isn't as bad as some folks say, all things considered
The audience that had been summoned by the Realmcrafter Talespinner69 had just finished watching the sixth episode of one big realm where, once per episode, the students of class 1-A are seen meeting a member of the family of one of their classmates. The show, despite how it got a little weird at some points thus far, had still been a nice show up to this point, and many in the audience had enjoyed seeing the families of class 1-A interact with Aizawa's students.
"Well now, I'd certainly say that the last episode of this realm had been...interesting," Sekijiro said in a mildly bemused tone.
Nodding in agreement, Aizawa said, "Indeed. I saw Todoroki on screen be embarrassed, but the Todoroki in the theater didn't even bat an eye."
"Was I supposed to?" Todoroki asked.
Giving Aizawa a sly look, Emi said in a flirtatious tone as she wiggled her eyebrows, "You know Shouta, if you want, I can make you emb-"
"Don't you dare," the underground hero interrupted when he turned to face Emi, prompting Eri who was still sitting in Aizawa's lap to start giggling cutely.
Looking to his classmates, Izuku said, "Hey guys, who all do you think we'll be shown meeting next?"
"Well that Realmcrafter fellow said that we'd be shown meeting members of our respective families that his kind not only know about for sure but also have the names of," Tenya pointed out, "So that would narrow the list down, provided that his kind doesn't know of every member of all of our respective families."
"Yeah, my kind doesn't know all of you guys' relatives, and we don't have names on all that we have seen," Tale replied, "For instance, we have seen Koda's mom but we don't know her name, so she won't show up in this show."
Koda sulked in his seat as he went, "Aww..." in a disappointed tone.
Clapping his hands together, Kotaro said, "But there's still plenty that Tale's kind has seen, and what better way to learn than to continue the show? We got the next episode ready to play, and from what we've gleamed after a brief skimming, that pro hero meet and greet event that's been a recurring plot point will be occurring in the episode we're about to play."
Everyone in the audience turned front and center to face the big theater screen, eagerly looking on to see who from what family of a 1-A student will be popping up. "My bet is on Endeavor, to be honest," Toshinori remarked, "After all, that pro hero meet and greet event is going to occur, and Endeavor is a pro hero and the father of Young Todoroki. It would make sense." Over where he sat, Endeavor looked amused and a bit smug.
"Yeah, but two of Todoroki's family members showing up in a row?" Nemuri said, "Seems like a bit of a boring chain. At least Todoroki's sister showed up a few episodes after her and her brother's mom showed up." Everyone went quiet at that point as the next episode started.
...
(Class 1-A meets Samidare Asui (Tsuyu Asui's little brother)
"We're meeting my little brother this time kero?" Tsuyu in the audience said in a surprised tone.
"It would certainly seem that way," Izuku remarked.
Gesturing to the big theater screen, Uraraka said, "You know, we've only seen older siblings show up. This is the first that a younger sibling showed up." With a bit of a chuckle, Uraraka added, "I bet it'll be cute."
Over at the Asui residence one good enough morning, the family within was getting up and getting ready to go about their day. In one of the bedrooms, the person within was still asleep in their bed, slowly breathing as they rested. The room belonged to a young boy who kept his room surprisingly neat and tidy.
The room also was decorated with some pro hero merchandise, all of which was merch of the Dragoon Hero Ryukyu. There was a poster of Ryukyu in her dragon form on the wall over the desk in the room, there were a few figures of her on the shelving unit in the room, both of her human form and a slightly big one of her dragon form, and there was even a(n oversized) Ryukyu hoodie hanging over the back of the chair at the desk, along with a Ryukyu scarf.
Looking over to the bed, the person laying it sat up, showing himself to be Samidare, who sat up while holding a plushy of Ryukyu in her dragon form. He gave a tired yawn before sticking a small bit of his tongue out with a 'blep' sound.
"Aww, now that is just precious," Nejire in the audience said, "It's really cute how Tsuyu's little brother here clearly likes Ryukyu." Where she sat in the audience, Ryukyu, blushing a little out of mild embarrassment that someone clearly liked her, nodded in agreement.
"It kind of reminds me of when Izuku was a little kid," Inko said, "How he was such a big fan of All Might. He had multiple All Might shirts, as well as at least one All Might hoodie."
"Ah heh heh heh," Izuku laughed in embarrassment, "There's no need to go into my childhood like that mom."
"Used to be a fan?" Mina said in a confused tone, "He still is! Have you seen his dorm room over at UA? It's like a shrine to all that is All Might!"
"Well, I'm glad to see that I have Young Midoriya's confidence," Toshinori remarked, a hint of amused dryness in his tone.
...
During breakfast, Samidare and his little sister Satsuki were sitting at the table while their mom Beru was talking on the phone. While Satsuki was going on about what all she wanted to do today, Samidare was calmly, quietly eating his waffles. "Satsuki, sweetie, could you please keep it down?" Beru asked, "I'm on the phone."
"But I was talking about what I was going to do at the park today!" Satsuki said.
Pointing to her youngest child, Beru said with more firmness in her tone, "Be quiet." Beru went back to her phone call and told the person on the other end a few more things before ending the call. With the phone placed down, Beru said to Satsuki, "You need to learn to be quiet while me or your dad is on the phone, Satsuki. I was talking to someone from work."
"So it seems here that Tsuyu's little sister is not the most well behaved, but Tsuyu's little brother keeps quiet and does as his parents tell him," Hagakure in the audience remarked.
Sighing, Tsuyu said, "I hope that Satsuki won't cause too many problems down the line."
"I kind of want to see more of little Samidare up there," Mina said, "I mean, he first showed up being cute, and now he's being shown as well behaved as well. I bet that the girls and I are all going to love him to bits."
As Satsuki looked down at her breakfast with a mildly guilty look, Beru turned to look at her son, gently getting his attention by softly patting him on his right shoulder. "Well, since your little sister has plans for what she wants to do today, what about you? Is there anything you want to do, Samidare?"
After a few moments, Samidare nodded once in the affirmative while giving a likewise sounding, "Hmm." The sole Asui brother reached into the pocket of his Ryukyu hoodie that he was wearing and pulled out a folded up piece of paper. He unfolded it and showed it to his mom, revealing it to be a flyer for the pro hero meet and greet event over at UA.
"Oh yes, that event at your older sister's school where a number of pro heroes will show up to interact with fans visiting to see them," Beru remarked.
Samidare nodded once in confirmation. "Ryukyu is going to be there."
"So we'll be seeing Tsuyu's little brother at UA because he's hoping to see Ryukyu at the pro hero meet and greet event," Yaoyorozu in the audience remarked. The wealthy girl showed a small but sincere smile. "That is just precious."
"Aww, well ain't that little kid just sweet," Mirko said. Nudging Ryukyu in the arm with an elbow, the rabbit hero said, "You better be nice to him, ya here?"
"I'll have you know that I would never be rude or inconsiderate to a fan," Ryukyu said, "Especially one that is a child."
Beru smiled at this. "Well it's a good thing that Tsuyu goes to UA. If you need help getting around you can just find her and ask for help." Samidare gave an affirmative nod to his mom before he went back to his waffles.
...
Later, Samidare was walking along the sidewalk outside of the main front gate of UA. In addition to the Ryukyu hoodie, he also wore a Ryukyu scarf since it was cold, and his hoodie was open showing that he wore a jersey-style shirt themed after the Dragoon Hero. Samidare also wore a gatsby hat with a few Ryukyu pins on the bill.
The sole Asui brother made his way in after being given a visitors pass, but looking around he soon looked nervous, as if he was getting overwhelmed. While walking through a random hallway, Samidare approached an open door that led into a Home Ec classroom. He smelled a very inciting aroma of baked goods coming from the room, so he wandered inside.
When Samidare entered the room, he saw Sato as well as Mirio and Tamaki, although none of them had noticed him yet and he didn't recognize any of them.
"So Sato, as well as Mirio-senpai and Tamaki-senpai will be the first to interact with Samidare, huh?" Kyoka in the audience said. Folding her arms over her chest, Kyoka said, "Mirio-senpai better not lose his clothes around the kid."
Chuckling out of embarrassment, Mirio said, "Yeah, that would be hard for me to explain to Tsuyu who I have no doubt would be really upset with me if she hears that I was naked around her little brother."
"Yes I would be kero," Tsuyu stated.
"I have never made so much before," Sato said to his senpais as he gestured to the vast array of baked sweets that were all sitting on the table. To Tamaki, Sato asked, "And this is all just for Fat Gum who will be here later as part of the pro hero meet and greet event?"
Tamaki nodded once in the affirmative. "You'd be surprised how much Fat Gum can pack away."
"Will this be enough, you think?" Mirio asked.
Tamaki gently shook his head. "Nothing is ever enough for Fat Gum," Tamaki said dryly.
"Oh ho!" Fat Gum in the audience said with a bit of an amused laugh in his tone, "This Tamaki on screen has some sass! I like it."
"Uhhhhhhhhhhhn," Tamaki moaned in an embarrassed tone, covering his face with his hands.
As Mirio chuckled a bit, by chance he noticed that Samidare was in the room. "Oh, hello kid," Mirio said, getting Samidare's attention, "What brings you here?"
"This room is quiet, and very few people are here," Samidare said, "I want to rest here a bit. It also smells nice in here."
Turning to look at the other boys, Mirio said, "He's probably a kid here for the pro hero meet and greet event that got a bit overwhelmed and needs to relax. I say we let him stay."
"I got no problem with that," Sato replied, "Hell, we can have him try one of the muffins that I made. After all, I did make enough stuff to feed an army."
"Which is equal to one-tenth of a Fat Gum," Tamaki stated, still showing his current dry tone.
"Ah ha ha!" Fat Gum in the audience laughed in a good natured tone, "I'm really liking this sassy Tamaki! He's a lot more willing to state what's on his mind than the Tamaki in the audience here with us!"
"Please make it stop..." Tamaki said in an embarrassed tone as he curled up into a fetal position in the theater seat that he was sitting in.
Picking up a muffin, Sato offered it to Samidare. "This one here is from the batch of cookies n' cream muffins that I tried making." Samidare took the muffin, which was big enough to just fit in his hands cupped together. Samidare looked at the muffin before taking a bite out of it.
Sato, Mirio and Tamaki looked at Samidare for a moment as he just stood there. Suddenly, Samidare quickly chewed the mouthful of muffin and swallowed before quickly taking another bite. The senpais both laughed in good natured tones at this. "Well I'd certainly say that he has given the muffins a passing grade," Mirio said.
"Aww, now that is just cute," Mina in the audience said while pointing to the big theater screen.
"He is being precious, I must admit," Emi said.
Tsuyu nodded once to acknowledge all the positive things being said about her little brother. "He is a sweet kid, for sure."
As the boys were talking, Nejire came walking into the room. "Hey boys," Nejire said, getting everyone in the room to turn to see her, although it was clear Nejire was only looking for Mirio and Tamaki. "I just saw Fat Gum arrive, so is all of the-"
"Oh!" Samidare exclaimed, cutting Nejire off and getting her attention. He walked over to the third year girl and pointed at her. "I know you!"
Curious about who was some random kid knowing her, Nejire said, "You do?"
"I saw you on TV with Ryukyu once," Samidare said, "You work for her!"
"So he recognized me due to the fact I'm employed by Ryukyu as an intern," Nejire in the audience said, "That being said, he may also recognize Uraraka and Tsuyu since both of them work for Ryukyu too."
"Well I should certainly hope my little brother recognizes me," Tsuyu said dryly.
What Samidare said to her, as well as noticing the Ryukyu swag that he was wearing, cleared up a lot of confusion for Nejire. "Yeah, I am one of Ryukyu's interns alright. I take it you're here because you're hoping to see Ryukyu during today's event?"
Samidare nodded once in the affirmative. "She's the best hero ever."
"Well I bet she'd love to hear that," Nejire replied, amused in a sincerely touched way that the kid in front of her and the boys liked Ryukyu so much. Getting an idea, Nejire took her phone out and quickly took a picture of Samidare, getting a good shot of him. Showing the picture to the boys, Nejire said, "I bet Ryukyu and the girls will love seeing this."
Nodding in agreement, Sato said, "Oh yeah, I bet so as well." Turning to look at Samidare, Sato said, "So kid, do-" Sato stopped short when he and the big three noticed that Samidare had suddenly disappeared.
"...Where did he go?" Mirio asked, confused as to how Samidare had disappeared so quickly.
"Wow, your little brother must have ninja skills, Tsuyu," Kaminari in the audience remarked.
"He probably left to see if he could find Ryukyu kero," Tsuyu said.
"I just hope he won't cause or get up to too much trouble while he's at UA," Itsuka remarked.
Gesturing to the big theater screen, Aizawa said, "He's proven to be well behaved. Better than some of you in me and Sekijiro's respective classes. I'm sure he'll be fine."
...
Later in one of the hallways, Tokoyami was putting some posters up while aided by Dark Shadow. "Why are we doing this again, Fumi?" Dark Shadow asked.
"Because the others are busy," Tokoyami replied, "Besides, there's no need for us to-"
"Fumikage!" Samidare called out, cutting Tokoyami off and prompting both him and Dark Shadow to turn to look at him as he came up.
"Ah, Samidare," Tokoyami said in a casual and mildly amused tone, "Pleasure to see you here."
Pointing to the sole Asui brother, Dark Shadow said to his host, "You know this kid, Fumi?"
"Dark Shadow, that's Samidare," Tokoyami explained, "He's one of Tsuyu's little siblings."
"Ah yes, your froggy classmate," Dark Shadow remarked, "Yeah, congrats on getting her as your girlfriend by the way."
"Tsuyu and I are dating in this realm?" Tokoyami in the audience remarked in a surprised tone.
"Yeah, I'm a bit surprised as well," Tsuyu commented.
Shrugging, Mina said, "Well you two would be cute together, now that the subject has been brought up. And the two of you dating would explain why Samidare knows Tokoyami."
Tokoyami nodded to his sentient quirk before turning back to face Samidare. "I take it you're here for the pro hero meet and greet event?"
Samidare nodded and hummed in the affirmative. "Ryukyu is going to be here."
"Hey Fumi, does Tsuyu know that her little brother is here?" Dark Shadow asked.
Turning to face Dark Shadow, Tokoyami replied, "I don't know, but we ought to let her know that he's here all the same." Turning back to face Samidare, Tokoyami said, "Samidare, does your-" Tokoyami stopped short when he saw that Samidare had vanished.
"Wow, that little brother of Tsuyu's sure can ninja himself in and out of places," Mirko in the audience said. Turning to look at Edgeshot, the rabbit hero said, "You ought to take notes."
"...I'd be lying if I said I wasn't interested in how he's pulling that off repeatedly," Edgeshot admitted.
His eyes widening a bit with an alarmed hint to them, Tokoyami said, "We need to find him. He can't be wandering around UA campus alone!"
"Because he's a small kid, right?" Dark Shadow asked. Tokoyami gave no answer as he just dropped the posters he was holding and proceeded to run off to try and find Samidare, taking Dark Shadow with him.
...
In another classroom, Yaoyorozu was going over a few things with Hagakure, Kyoka and Mina. "So as soon as the others get here," Yaoyorozu said, "We need to go over what Nemuri-sensei wants us to do for some of the female pro heroes that are visiting UA today as part of the pro hero meet and greet event."
"Hopefully I'll be able to do my part for the live music performance that will be happening," Kyoka said, "We're set to start at two."
Yaoyorozu opened her mouth as if to speak, but she was cut off when she and the others heard someone enter the room. Turning around, they saw that it was Samidare, who looked like he was looking for something.
"Now we're going to have a turn with Samidare," Mina in the audience remarked, "Oooh, he's going to be just precious, I know it!"
"Yeah, but what is he looking for?" Tokoyami asked.
"And why is Fumi so keen on finding the little dude?" Dark Shadow added.
"Hey there, lil' buddy," Mina said, getting Samidare to face her and the other girls, "Can we help you find anything?"
"I got lost," Samidare said, "I need to use the bathroom."
'Well don't you worry," Mina said, "I can very easily lead you to-"
Mina was cut off when Uraraka walked into the room, everyone turning to look at her. "Sorry I'm late, girls. I ran into Nejire-senpai on the way and-"
"Oh! You work for Ryukyu!" Samidare said, cutting Uraraka off and getting her to look down at him. "I saw you in an online news report with Ryukyu."
"And now he recognizes Uraraka based on her working for Ryukyu," Sekijiro in the audience said, his arms folded over his chest.
"Does he not know about her as his older sister's classmate?" Nemuri asked.
Shrugging, Tsuyu replied, "To be fair, I haven't exactly tried to go over my school life with my younger siblings."
Uraraka smiled a bit at the child's obvious excitement. "Yeah, I do work for her. And I can tell by what all you're wearing that you must be a fan."
"Hey Uraraka, can you lead him to the nearest boy's restroom?" Yaoyorozu asked, "Then come back here after?"
Uraraka nodded in the affirmative and had Samidare follow her out of the classroom. Seeing Samidare leave as he followed Uraraka, Mina couldn't help but let out a squee. "He's just so cute! Where did he come from?"
"Heh," Kyoka said, laughing a bit in amusement, "Maybe he wandered off from his group."
...
Later, the four girls were met up by Nejire, who wanted them to help her, Mirio, Tamaki and Sato get the baked goods moved to where Fat Gum would receive them. As they talked, they were met up by a panicked looking Tokoyami and Dark Shadow, the former having jogged up to the girls.
"And here's where Fumi and I come back into play," Dark Shadow in the audience said.
"I'm guessing that I'll be asking the girls for help to find Samidare," Tokoyami remarked.
"Hopefully Uraraka will have the foresight to keep an eye on him," Izuku commented.
"I hope so too," Uraraka said.
"Excuse me girls, but Dark Shadow and I need your help," Tokoyami said.
"Hmm? What's up?" Hagakure asked.
"Have you seen a ten-year-old boy wandering around here?" Dark Shadow asked, "He's about yay tall, has dark colored hair with the bangs covering one of his eyes, he's decked out in a full set of Ryukyu swag, he's also-"
"Oh, hold on," Nejire said as she took her phone out. Holding the phone to Tokoyami and Dark Shadow so they could see the picture of Samidare she had pulled up, Nejire asked, "Is this the kid you're looking for?"
"Yes! That's Samidare!" Tokoyami exclaimed, "Thank goodness you got a picture of him!"
"Yeah, that is a big help," Aizawa in the audience commented.
"Here's hoping that they find young Ausi's little brother," Toshinori said.
The girls in 1-A got a look at the photo on Nejire's phone. "Hey, that kid wandered into the room we were using earlier," Yaoyorozu said, "He recognized Uraraka as an intern of Ryukyu's, then I asked Uraraka to take him to a restroom since he said he needed to go." Looking to her classmate, Yaoyorozu asked, "Why are you looking for him, Tokoyami?"
"That's Samidare," Tokoyami explained, "He's Tsuyu's ten-year-old little brother."
"He's Tsuyu's little brother?!" Nejire nearly exclaimed, "Wait, I'll call Uraraka and ask her if he's still with her!" Nejire quickly called Uraraka and got her on the phone. "...Uraraka! It's me, Nejire! Listen, you and some girls in your class found a young boy wearing a lot of Ryukyu merch earlier, and Yaoyorozu told me you were the last one she saw with him. Is the kid still with you? We need to find him!"
Everyone looked on at Nejire silently, then they relaxed when she let out a relieved sigh. "Okay, we'll meet you over there." Ending the call, Nejire said to everyone, "She's got him in the 1-A classroom with Izuku and some other boys."
"Let's go!" Dark Shadow said as he pointed the way, prompting everyone to go run for the class 1-A homeroom.
"Oh thank goodness I kept an eye on him here," Uraraka in the audience sighed in relief.
"Let's just hope nothing bad happens," Nemuri commented.
...
Nejire and the others all ran for the 1-A homeroom door when it came within sight for them. Nejire threw the door open and ran in, only to see a very relieving sight; Samidare was hugging his older sister Tsuyu, his face buried in her stomach, as Tsuyu gently patted him on the back. The rest of 1-A was all standing around watching.
"Oh thank goodness he's alright," Nejire said, getting everyone to turn to face her and the others who had shown up.
"You never told me he was Tsuyu's little brother, Nejire-senpai," Uraraka said.
"Well we were freaking out trying to find him," Nejire defended.
Sighing in relief, Tsuyu in the audience said, "So now he's safe and sound with me and the others kero. Thank goodness nothing happened to him."
"You know, if he wants to meet Ryukyu, he can just stick with you, Uraraka and Nejire-senpai," Tokoyami commented, "I mean, she and a number of other pro heroes will be at UA, so you girls are bound to run into her."
Nodding in thanks, Tsuyu replied, "Well thanks for looking out for Samidare. He's just going to be sticking with me while here at UA for the pro hero meet and greet event."
"He is a pretty quite, well-behaved kid," Sero remarked.
"He blew two raspberries at me and then hissed at me," Mineta said dryly, "And I didn't do a damn thing to him. How is that well-behaved?"
Some of the others in the audience laughed a bit at Mineta, who just shrunk into his theater seat out of embarrassment. "Hey now, cut Mineta some slack," Tale said, "He still hasn't done anything as of yet."
"Sorry, it's just inherently funny," Hizashi admitted.
"Yeah, I told him and the rest of my family about some of what you had been up to," Tsuyu admitted.
"Well I've been on good behavior as of late," Mineta pointed out. Overall, everyone was relieved that Samidare was safe and sound. Later, when a lot of the pro heroes arrived, Tsuyu, Uraraka and Nejire were able to get Samidare to meet Ryukyu. The sole Asui brother was very excited to meet his idol, and he hopped up and down out of excitement when she gave him an autographed photo of herself.
All on all, the pro hero meet and greet event was a total success.

"Well that one went on for a while," Tale commented dryly.
"Yeah, but it was cute seeing Samidare show up and interact with people at UA," Tsuyu remarked.
"He's a precious little bean is what he is," Toga said, "I want him."
"No," Tsuyu, Uraraka, Dabi, Ryukyu, Nejire, Spinner and Kotaro all said in unison.

Yeah, this one went on for a while; I actually had more planned but I had to scrap some ideas when I saw that this chapter was going on for too long. Maybe I can repurpose some of that material for a later chapter. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the holidays, and have fun trying to guess who will show up next.
