Chapter 9: Detention
As four Frodo and his friends they where all forced to serve detention outside of school late at night as they followed Filch out to Hagrid's hut Draco was there to join them. "You'll be serving detention tonight with Hagrid. He's got work for you all" said Filch. "Sorry for being late Hagrid" said Filch. Hagrid came out walking with his lantern and the dog named Fangs as he had tears on his face. "Norman my dragon Norman is gone. Dumbledore send him up to the north" said Hagrid. "Isn't that suppose to be a good thing. He'll be with other dragons" said Hermione. "Yes but what if he dosen't like it over there or if they do something to him" said Hagrid. "For goodness sake. Get it together now are you going in the forest after all" said Filch. "You're joking right we can't go there. We aren't allowed and there could be werewolfs" said Malfoy. "Let's move" said Hagrid as they walked. They walked until they saw something in the floor that looked like it was dead. "Hagrid what's that" said Frodo. "That is a unicorn. That is. I found one dead days ago, but this ones injured" said Hagrid as he get down to aid the creature. "Ron, Hermione, Frodo. You come with me. And Harry and Malfoy" said Hagrid. "I'll take the dog then" said Harry who grabbed Fangs. "He's a coward" said Hagrid. And so Harry and Malfoy toke Fangs to check the area. "Wait til my father hears about this. This is servant stuff" said Malfoy. "If I didn't know any better Draco. I'd say you are frightened" said Harry. "Me frightened. Yeah right" said Malfoy. The two boys stopped as they heard a noise. "You hear something. Let's go Fangs" said Harry as they kept walking. Harry and Malfoy looked everywhere and they both saw a dark and strange shadow coming towards them and they where both frightened. The shadow moved towards the boy until a centuar came and scared the shadow away. "Harry Potter. You have to leave. This forest is not safe at this hour. Even for you mostly" said the centaur. "What was that thing" said Harry. "A monstrous for. He's been drinking the blood of healing could keep it aliveif worthy of death but at a terrible price. And when you taste blood you are cursed" said the centaur. "Then why have such a life. So you mean that thing killed the unicorn and drinking its blood" said Harry. "You do know what that means at this moment Potter. The Sorcerer's Stone" said the centuar. Hagrid, Frodo, Ron, and Hermione reunited. "Hey Harry" said Ron. "I see you've meet Mr. Potter already and this is Frodo Baggins. You okay Harry" asked Hagrid. "Harry this is where I leave now. Stay safe and good luck" said the centaur as he left. Frodo and his friends where now heading back to the castle. "You mean Sauron I mean you-know-who is out in the forest" said Hermione. "Do you not see. We where wrong. Snape is nor after the stone." said Harry. "What if it returns" said Frodo. "You don't think he'll kill you both" said Ron. "He might as well do it right now" said Harry. "But who are the two wizards around here most powerful" sais Hermione. "Gandalf and Dumbledore of course" said Frodo. "As long as they are still here you are safe Harry" said Hermione. "My scar is burning. It's never hurt so much before" said Harry. "Are you alright Harry" asked Frodo. "I don't know. Wait why do you think Hagrid has a dragon all of a sudden" said Harry. "Good question" said Frodo who ran up to Hagrid. "Hey Hagrid. The man who gave you the egg. Did you see his face" said Frodo. "Well I don't know. But I told him all the creatures I look after and said to him that a dragon isn't gonna be a problem" said Hagrid. "Did he asked you about Fluffy" asked Frodo. "Yes he did ask that to he said he's never seen a three headed dog. And I told hum to play music and he'll fo to sleep. I shouldn't have said that" said Hagrid. Frodo raran back inside the castle. "Wait Frodo." said Hagrid. Frodo ran back inside and they told Gandalf. "Mithrandir, Gandalf wait" said Harry. "Yes Mr. Potter" said Gandalf. "Where is Professor Dumbledore we have to talk to him" said Harry. "About what he is with the Ministry of Magic near Isengard" said Gandalf. ".We must talk. It's about the Sorcerer's Stone" said Frodo. "Yes soneones gonna try to steak it" said Hermione. "Well I can assure you the Stone is safe and how do you know about the stone" said Gandalf. "Someone wants to steal it" said Ron. "The four of you go back to your dormitories now" said Gandalf.
