Ozpin turn to face Pitch, "You-... So that's what it feels like."

When Ozpin turned he realized that Pitch was nowhere to be seen, 'That man reminds me too much of Salem for comfort. The only consolation is that if he had been working for her, than we would've lost by now. One thing is for certain, this is going to be a very interesting -if not chaotic- year.'

Now

General POV

After Pitch left the stage to talk to Ozpin, Glynda stepped up to the mic and announced, "You will gather in the ballroom tonight and curfew is at 10 pm; tomorrow, your initiation begins. Be ready. You are dismissed."

Back with the "main cast"; Yang was standing with her hands pressed against her hips and her head tilted to her left before looking at her siblings, she said to them, "Well, that was depressing at all. What do you guys think."

Ruby shivered a little and said, "I don't know what it is about that guy, but for some reason he gives me the creeps."

Jaune nods nervously and adds, "Yeah and what he said about taking a persons' life. But who knows, it's probably just his way psyching us out, ehe right? ...Right?"

Weiss shook her head in disappointment at what the blonde said, "While what he said was incredibly morbid, what he said isn't without merit..."

Jaune and Ruby looked at her at her with confusion and a twinge of fear. 'Roy' releases a deep breathe and walks up to them from behind with Pyrrha by his side, as he was about to explain further he was suddenly beaten to it by a voice from behind the pair, "I have to agree with the Schnee on this one..."

The group turned around and saw the origin of said voice. Behind them was a fair-skinned young woman with wavy black hair and amber eyes that were accented by purple eye shadow. She -unknown to everyone but 'Roy'- had a pair of cat ears hidden beneath a little black bow. She wore a black, buttoned vest with coattails and a single silver button on the front. Underneath this is a white, sleeveless, high necked, crop undershirt and white shorts with a zipper on the front of each leg. She had a pair of black boots and full stockings with a color gradation of black to purple at her ankles. And lastly, a ribbon wrapped around each forearm. This is Blake Belladonna, former member of the White Fang and daughter of the chief of Menagerie.

Blake went on to finish her thoughts, "...While what he said might sound cold and harsh at first, you have to remember that this is the kind of world we live in."

Ruby let out a sigh of acceptance while Jaune just looked more confused. 'Roy' spoke up when he saw this, "It's like he said, "The Creatures of Grimm aren't the only monsters in this world". There are people out there that cannot be reasoned with, The Red Maw, human supremacists, cultists, bandit, thieves, corrupt people in power, assassins, and even rogue huntsmen. Point is that the sooner we move on, accept it, the easier it will be to figure out how to deal with it."

Jaune nodded his head while he was still confused and managed to get a somewhat better picture. Meanwhile, certain parts of what 'Roy' said hit very close to home for Blake, Weiss and Yang.

Blake thought about an old friend as she slipped away from everyone, 'The Red Maw...'

Weiss thought about her father, 'Corrupt people in power...'

Yang thought of her absent mother, 'Rogue huntsmen...'

Ruby jabs an elbow into her brother which makes him quickly realize that he caused the mood to go sour, he was about to say something to lighten the mood when Jaune unintentionally beat him to it. He walked over to Weiss and said, "So uh... wanna go out sometime?"

Weiss facepalmed and pinched the bridges between her nose as she sighed.

4 hours later in the Ballroom

After that time passed and everyone was preparing for their first night at Beacon Academy. Ruby could be seen lying on her chest while writing a letter as her brother was setting up a sleeping bag for the pair. Ruby wore a pair of fleece pajama pants that were white with little pink roses decorating it, as well as a black sleeping mask and a black T-shirt with a big red rose on the front. Meanwhile, her brother had worn a black turtleneck and maroon pair of sweatpants.

A moment later Yang, flops down on top of her brother as he makes an 'oomph' sound and groans in pain. 'Roy' glares at his big sister and asks, "What did you do that for?"

Yang blinks at him before she rolls off him and onto her side and says, "Sorry, but you know you could've just phased through?"

He stares at Yang for a minute before answering, "Okay, one, my semblance doesn't work like that. And two, I knew you'd get annoyed if I'd done that."

Yang shrugged, not denying what he said before she turned to her sister and said, "It's like a big slumber party!"

'Roy' grunted in response while Ruby told her, without looking away from her letter, "I don't think Dad would approve of all the boys, though."

"I know I do~.", Yang looks around the room at all the shirtless men until her eyes fell on the blue abomination that was Jaune in a blue onesie and bunny slippers, when he noticed her looking at him he smiled while deluding himself into thinking that she like what she saw. Yang tried not to gag before turning her attention over to her sister and asked about what Ruby was making.

She looked over to Yang and answered, "A letter to the gang back at Signal. I promised to tell them all about Beacon and how things are going."

"Aw, that's so cute~!", Yang fawned over sister only to receive a small glare and a pillow to the face for her troubles.

Ruby looked away from her sister feeling a bit sad, "Shut up. It's like Roy said, I didn't get to take my friends with me to school. It's weird not knowing anyone here. So give me some time, okay?"

Yang winced and tried to reassure Ruby, "What about Jaune and that angry white girl? They were… nice! There you go! You already have two friends! That's a hundred percent increase!"

Ruby turned over and flopped on her back while she chuckled nervously, "Yeah, I guess you have a point. Still, I know of them, but I don't know them know them."

Yang groaned and looked at her brother with an annoyed expression, "Great, now you're starting to sound like a more social version of 'Roy'."

The Rose twins looked at each other before turning to Yang both of them asked, "What's that supposed to mean?"

Yang sat cross legged with a shit eating grin on her face and said, "You sound like a crabby old man. Seriously, next thing you know he's gonna be getting you clothes from thirty years ago." And much like before, she got a pillow to the face.

'Roy' looked at Yang with a genuinely hurt expression and a hand to his heart, "Wow that hurt. You may have caused me more damage than in any of our sparring matches, then again you never could land a hit on me."

Yang's eyebrow twitched a few times while wearing an annoyed expression as she looked to her brother, "But seriously Roy, you NEED to at least try to make some friends here."

'Roy's' small frown changed to a small smile and turned his head away from her, "I'll do that, besides I already got a head start on making one, she's nice enough."

Yang tackled her brother and pulled him into a big strong hug that popped his back several times, "Oh, did my baby bro make himself a girlfriend~?"

Roy looked over to Ruby, silently asking for her help, only to find her pretending to sleep, 'Oh you little fucker!'

'Roy' slipped through his sister's grip and into the sleeping bag he shared with Ruby, he whispered one last thing to her before heading to sleep, "I'm gonna have to get you back for that one later."

A few minutes passed as Ruby waited for her brother to go to sleep, when she became confident that he was out she opened one eye to make absolutely sure. She began to leave their sleeping bag, but it proved difficult with 'Roy' gripping her in his sleep. One of the problems Ruby always had was that she never had a good night's rest she needed while she wasn't with her brother. She could only chalk it up to how twin's have a naturally stronger bond with one another, unfortunately for her her brother's sleeping habits can be a bit much at times. She can't help but giggle at the irony that her brother, the one that avoided practically everyone at Signal Academy, would be the clingiest person on the planet when he was asleep.

After she had freed herself, she went down to the bathroom...

Or at least she tried to before she slipped on her sister's infinity scarf and was sent tumbling onto a now very wake and angry Weiss. She tried to apologize to Weiss over and over again. Unfortunately for Ruby, without her brother to back her up she had been forced to hold her bladder for half an hour of Weiss's rant. When Ruby couldn't take it anymore, she used her semblance and zoomed to the restroom. When Ruby returned, she saw the white girl sound asleep, and sighed to herself as she said, "So much for making two friends... How could this get any worse?"

After she said that she got back into her sleeping bag and was immediately pulled in by a sleeping 'Roy'. With that Ruby had one thing on mind before heading to the land of dreams, 'Yeah, probably should've seen that one coming.'
