(simple backstory to some of the stuff and not important to the storyline)
As Arcellious wandered the campus he started to reflect on some of the things that had happened here at the academy as he passed the bronze dorm.
*Flash back 9 years ago*
A kid walked up to Arcellious at the playground during recess "Hi I'm Arthur what's your name?" Arthur said. "Arcellious?" said confused. "That's a strange name..." Arthur said. "Better then Arthur" Arcellious replied. "hahaha I guess that's true. so what are you filling out?" Arthur said. "paperwork to get me enrolled in a school" Arcellious said. "Is it the new dueling school that opened up a few years ago that everyones been talking about?" Arthur asked. "Yea it is, right now my grandpa is in charge of it" Arcellious said. "oh cool you gotta hook me up man please!" Stern said begging. "Yea sure just give me a number I can call you at" Arcellious said. "Or we can just be friends?" Stern asked "Probably work easier" Arcellious said laughing.
*few years Later*
"Man why did Dr Kurenai make us both Bronzes?" Stern asked. "Oh gee I had no idea" Arcellious said sarcastically "It was a rhetorical question!" Stern said. "Hey, blame the guy who wouldn't take my duel packets" Arcellious said. Suddenly the Door opened and a slightly younger male was standing in the door holding a duffle bag and a piece of paper. "Oh my, so sorry to interrupt but, my name's Kurt. And according to professor Issac this is my dorm room" Kurt said walking in and setting his stuff on the bottom bunk. "So what brings you here kurt?" Arcellious said, trying to be friendly. "I came here to collect cards mainly. some of the ones i'm after i can't seem to find on my own. plus it'll add to the collection I have back at home" Kurt said smiling. "Just how many cards do you have?" "hm... well over 60 60 cards deck" Kurt said. Sterns jaw dropped and tried counting on his fingers. "Just how many is that?" Arcellious asked. "Well over 3600" Kurt said. "and you came here because of that?" Stern said in disbelief. "Well yes, of course. card collecting is my hobby after all. well that and drawing but" Kurt said. "can i see what you've drawn?" Arcellious asked. "Yes, of course." Kurt said, pulling out his sketch pad and showing a few images he drew. "Wow these are really good. wait why are there names written above?" Arcellious asked "Yes well those are the names of the images. My uncle has some friends who can take these images and make them into actual cards. here I can show you if you like?" Kurt said, pulling out one of his binders. "I like the way this one turned out. It's called limit break" Kurt said pulling out the card and handing it to Arcellious. "Limit break, cannot be activated if you control 3 or more cards. Once per turn you can select one monster you control and increase the level or rank by 1 if you do increase the attack by 500. This effect can be used on the same monster up to 4 times. If this card is destroyed, remove all changes to the monsters whose level or rank was increased by this effect. wow thats actually pretty cool. So with this I can increase the level of say cyber tech alligator and make it a 6, 7, 8, and a 9?" Stern asked. "yes but not all in 1 turn." Kurt said putting the card back into his binder. "You know we could use a guy like you helping us around" Stern said.
