Mrs krabappel woke up to the smell of pancakes coming from the kitchen
she sat up looked around then got up and put on her clothes
Bart and lisa where already ready and eating there breakfast
"Something smells good" Mrs krabappel said coming downstairs
she stopped when she was beside skinner he smiled and showed her what he was doing
"making breakfast " principal skinner said then bending down and kissing her
"Hey we'd like to keep our food in our stomachs please " Bart said
Mrs krabappel smiled then went to the kids and kissed Lisa's cheek then Maggie's then barts
"What is this the kiss everyone festival" Bart asked wipeing this kiss off his cheek
"Well I like it "lisa said hugging Mrs krabappel
Bart had to admit he liked it too but it was to early for him be in the sweet mood
after breakfast they drove to school after dropping Maggie off at the Flanders
when they got their lisa ran to her class principal skinner went to his office and mrs krabappel and bart walked to the classroom
"Well here we are" Bart said
Mrs krabappel nodded " yeah "
while they waited for the rest of the students Mrs krabappel and bart danced together to a song that bart put on from his phone
the class came in and their mouths dropped when they saw mrs krabappel and bart dancing
"Mrs krabappel why are you dancing with bart?"Martin asked
"yeah"terri and Sherri said together
Mrs krabappel and bart turned around
"Because why not?"mrs krabappel said
one of the students in the back called out"Mrs krabappel and bart sitting in a tree "
bart let go of Mrs krabappel's hand and walked up to the boy and said
"Watch it man that's my mom" Bart said
the boy looked down
"Alright class Lets get started "Mrs krabappel said recovering from barts anocment
the rest of the day they learned their time tables and some history lessons and by the end everyone was tried
Lisa and principal skinner walked in Mrs krabappel's classroom Bart and mrs krabappel where dancing together again
principal skinner and lisa looked at each other then principal skinner held out his hand and lisa took it and they started dancing too
they danced then Mrs krabappel and skinner traded dance partners so now lisa and bart where dancing together and mrs krabappel and principal skinner where dancing
after a few more dancing rounds they headed home
"That was surprisingly fun " Mrs krabappel said
"I would have to agree edna" principal skinner said
"Yeah me too" Lisa said Bart nodded
when they got home lisa ran and got Maggie from the Flanders and mrs krabappel started dinner while bart and principal skinner sat on the couch watching TV
lisa came back in and took Maggie to her room
"So Bart I heard you called Edna ''mom" today " principal skinner said with a smug look on his face
"Well yeah I mean the classmate was making a joke saying' Mrs krabappel and bart sitting in a tree' so I said 'watch it thats my mom' that's all what happened I didn't say it to her face like hey mom what's for dinner "Bart said making an example
principal skinner nodded "Well are you going to start calling me dad? "
Bart looked at skinner then said "Watch it Seymour but to answer the question maybe if you start acting like a dad to me...maybe will see "
principal skinner nodded
Mrs krabappel came in the room and sat down with them
"what are you two talking about? " she asked
"Oh how I heard that bart called you mom and I was asking him if he was going to start calling me dad but he said he might if I start acting like one to him " skinner said messing with barts hair which earned him a look
"Oh thats right you did call me mom today well not directly but to a student "Mrs krabappel said
lisa ran down the stairs and into the living room
"Bart called you mom!? can i?" lisa said
Mrs krabappel nodded "He did but not directly but to another student told them to watch what they where saying and that I was his mom and yes lisa you may " Mrs krabappel said
lisa smiled "ok mom what are we having for dinner? "
"Your having a salad because am full aware of your no eating meat thing we are having meatloaf " Mrs krabappel said getting up and putting the food on the plates lisa smiled then ran up to get Maggie
they ate and talked about how their day went
"And then we learned that math can be used in any way shape or form" lisa said finishing up her salad
"Well we had four kids come to the office for bad behavior and let me say theses four boys sure so Weasle there way out of alot you can tell there is no disablin at home" Principal skinner said
"Well today was pretty clam than normal but am guessing it's because my little trouble maker has to live with me now "Mrs krabappel said laughing a little
Bart blushed "yeah I gotta say class has gotten a bit clamer but give Nelson and milhouse a chance and they will make the class wild "
Mrs krabappel nodded "I'd have to agree with you on that"
they finished eating then Mrs krabappel put Maggie to bed
"ok here you go sweetie,sleep good" Mrs krabappel said gently rubbing the baby's cheek
when Maggie closed her eyes Mrs krabappel turned the light off then went back downstairs
lisa was practicing her saxophone in her room after getting her nightgown on and bart was taking a bath
principal skinner was cleaning the dishes which made Mrs krabappel smile she sat down on the couch and then principal skinner came and sat next to her after getting the dishes cleaned and dried
"Have you had time to run by the courthouse yet?"principal skinner asked as he hugged on to her
"No but I plan to go by there tomorrow "Mrs krabappel said gently brushing his hairwith her fingers
he sighed" Who'd a thought you and me raising the simpsons kids and them being good for us"
"yeah I know,but you have to think when there at school there stressed and not comfortable showing there more nicer side and since we live with them now they have gotten used and comfortable around us so there showing their more human sweet side " Mrs krabappel said
"Yeah I'd have to agree I didn't know Bart could be so kind" principal skinner said
Mrs krabappel nodded "well we knew but never thought we ever see it so much "
principal skinner nodded "yeah your right"
lisa came out of her room and told them she was going to bed
"Night mrs krabappel I mean mom night principal skinner "lisa said then running to bed
Mrs krabappel smiled "you have no idea how good it feels to be called'mom" I have always wanted childern of my own but with Ken I didn't want to bring one in that relationship "
"He was that bad?"principal skinner asked
"Well he had his moments of being good but he was a drunk and as you saw at the restaurant trying everything to manipulate me "Mrs krabappel said
"Well you don't have to worry about him now" principal skinner said kissing her on the lips
"You two pick the worst times to do that "Bart said coming in from of them
Mrs krabappel and principal skinner pulled away real quick "Hide long have you been there?!"principal skinner asked
"Two seconds dont worry I didn't hear you conversation anyway I came down here to just say am going to bed"bart said
"Oh ok ill be in there in a minute " Mrs krabappel said
"Yeah ok " Bart said walking back uo the steps
"well am going to put them to sleep you might aswell get read for bed too "Mrs krabappel said getting up je followed her
"ok " he went to the bedroom and put on his night clothes
Mrs krabappel went into Lisa's room to make sure she was asleep then went to barts
"Did you have a good day today? "Mrs krabappel asked tucking him in
"Yes "Bart said mrd krabappel smiled then leaned down and kissed his cheek
"Goodnight dear"mrs krabappel said gently touching his cheek
Bart looked up at her then said while closing his eyes to go to sleep
"Night mama" Mrs krabappel smiled she turned his light off and shut his door and went and put in her nightgown
"Bart just said 'night mama" to me Seymour " Mrs krabappel said smiling while getting in the bed
"really that's great...how long do you think it will take them to start calling me dad?" Seymour said
"Mayde two days or weeks but I have a feeling if they are now calling me mom they might start calling you dad so maybe soon" she said lying down
skinner nodded "Maybe well night edna" he said kissing her cheek
