Youth Center (season 1of Mighty Morphin)
Zach and Jason were just finishing up their workout as they stated they wanted to do. Kimberly was on one of the beams balancing herself doing her gymnastics, and Trini was on the side by herself meditating while sitting cross-legged.
Trini had her eyes closed while trying to draw out any noise that was going on in the building. She lightly hummed to herself trying to achieve some tranquility.
However, all of that was about to end.
Bulk and Skull walked in to the room looking around at all the people enjoying themselves.
"Look it all the goody-goodies," Bulk had a disgruntled look to himself.
"Yea, look at all the goody-goodies," Skull repeated.
Bulk looked sharply at his friend wondering why he was always repeating everything that was said by Bulk. But he brushed it off as he continued to scan the room. Finally he saw someone he was interested in.
"Hey Skull, follow me."
The two bullies walked over to Trini who was still meditating in the corner away from everyone. She had sensed the presence of two people even with her eyes closed. The way one's senses come alive when they know they're not alone and are in proximity of another person.
"Aww, looky here Skull. Looks like someone didn't get enough sleep this morning, so she is trying to get some rest."
Skull laughed at Bulk's remark.
Trini's eyes opened and turned around to see Bulk and Skull looking down at her. Trini sighed, and got up.
"Thanks Bulk, I appreciate you coming over here and interrupting my meditation. I was trying to clear my mind," the yellow ranger grumbled. "But that's something you two don't have to worry about because you don't a mind."
Bulk's smile faded into a frown. His forehead got wrinkled as he had gotten angry at Trini's remark.
"Oh yea, you think so huh?" Bulk growled.
By that time Jason and Zach had finished up and saw Trini from a distance talking to Bulk and Skull. Jason tapped Zach on the chest for him to look at their friend against Bulk and Skull. It was time to intervene.
Kimberly, who had gotten down from the beam to get some water, also noticed her friend confronted against the resident bullies. As she finished her water, she followed suit and walked behind Jason and Zach as the approached their friend.
"Look Bulk, just leave me alone," Trini was annoyed and tried to get away from the two.
However, Skull blocked Trini's path and looked at her. "And what if we don't?"
"Then you get to deal with us," Jason said as he was now right behind the two bullies.
Bulk and Skull turned around and saw the three come to Trini's aide.
"The pleasure," Bulk said as he was beginning to pound his right fist on the palm of his left hand.
"Are you sure you want to do that?" A new voice said from another angle.
Everyone turned to see Billy who had arrived in the room to confront the two and to help his friends.
"Ah, the geek decides to come and help his friends," Bulk looked at the blue ranger.
"Yea, the geek!" Skull laughed.
Billy had a calm demeanor to himself, probably more so than Jason at the moment. He knew Bulk and Skull weren't really like this in his present since they had become part of the junior police force. He also knew that Bulk and Skull were simply mistunderstood.
Billy walked at the two bullies, which cause the two to start walking backwards ever so slightly. "The both of you don't have to convey this macho bully persona that you've been doing for years."
Billy continued to walk at Bulk and Skull at a slow pace, forcing the two bullies to walk backwards to avoid Billy.
"I know there's good in the both of you. I've seen it before," Billy continued. "I also know the two of you just want to be liked. All you have to do is to open up and allow people to come into your lives, if you are willing. Maybe even to become friends."
Bulk and Skull looked at each other dumbfounded. Their mouths opened up wondering why Billy was saying these things to them.
"Bah, bah, uh…," were the only things that came out of their mouths.
Bulk gained his composure somewhat. "Come on Skull. Let's get out of here."
"Yea, I'm with you, Bulkie," the friend said, somewhat startled. Both exited the room as Billy simply looked on with a smirk on his face.
The other rangers came over to Billy. "Thank you for helping Billy," Trini said.
"Man Billy, become friends with them," Zach grunted. "Have you lost your mind?"
Kimberly agreed. "Yea, I can barely be in the same room with them. But become friends, with those two?"
Billy had to remind himself this was not the same Kimberly from his time period who danced with Skull at the Junior Police Ball. Kimberly even confined to Billy and the others that she thought of Skull as a friend, something the present Kimberly had not thought of yet.
"So, did you do what you needed to do at the Command Center?" Jason looked at his friend.
"Uh, yeah, just had to check a few systems," Billy lied. "Just to make sure we stay one step ahead of Rita."
"Yea, no kidding," Zach simply stated.
Suddenly, the communicators went off.
"Speaking of Rita," Kim sighed a she knew anytime the communicators went off Rita was up to something.
Being the leader that he is, Jason motioned for everyone to get to a corner in the hallway away from everyone else. And they did.
Jason tapped his communicator. "This is Jason. We read you."
"Jason," you and the others must go to the park," Zordon was the one speaking. "Rita has sent a squad of putties and are endangering everyone there."
"We're on our way," the red ranger responded. He motioned for everyone to go outside of the Youth Center so they could teleport to the park to help stop the putties.
As each of the rangers made their way out of the building, Billy found himself being out of the building as well but wasn't with his friends anymore. He was right next to the Youth Center, the same spot he was in where he saw the four teens and the little kid fight the piranhatrons.
Billy sighed as he was tired of jumping through different points in time, although he still had not establish what year this was. "Not again."
He decided the best thing would be to go to the Command Center and talk to Zordon and Alpha of this time period.
He tapped his communicator. A beam of blue flashed and flew off into the sky and zipped past the city and into the mountainous region outside of the city and to the Command Center. Or so he thought.
As Billy rematerialized he heard an alarm go off. He looked around saw the four teenagers and the kid along with what looked like a different Alpha bot. This was not the interior of the Command Center. It was bigger, more spacious. There were consoles in different locations around the room. Billy also saw five tubes of color on a back wall that consisted of blue, yellow, red, pink, and green.
"Who are you?" A feminine voice said.
Billy turned around and saw a plasma tube thinking Zordon was the one speaking to him. But what he saw was a woman whom he had never seen before.
"Where am I?" Billy questioned sharply.
