Love Drought
After the attacks from Grand Chaalaak and her helper, the atmosphere here at Lakeshore Academy has been rough, to say the least. The students are all on edge, the faculty and staff are at odds over what is best for them, and the parents either want reassurance or their money back. Dean Kathin wants the Fairy Soldiers' heirs to be expelled, claiming that their presence brings danger to the campus. Headmaster Chidh disagrees, claiming that their heirs help a lot, and without the heirs at school, there will be no contact with the Palace and limited knowledge as to what is happening. With all of the commotion, there are other things to worry about, such as the Homecoming Game, Homecoming Dance, and the Knight's Coltillan. This brings the story to other characters that need checking in on, such and Haru and Rocky, who are still adjusting to being a fairy themselves.
"What do you mean it's wrong?" Haru asks his teacher, Mr. Shaquille, "The formation of the spell is correct, but the strength is off. The flame needs a little bit more kick," Mr. Shaquille said. Haru sighs. "I know that you are staying with Lady Jiona and her family. Maybe you should ask her for help for your midterms." Haru sighs and leaves the classroom, and runs into Joanne. "Haru, how was class?" "The same as yesterday!" Joanne is surprised by Haru's harsh tone. "I'm sorry, Joanne! I didn't mean to snap at you." "I know. Remedial Magic 101 is hard for you. But after this semester, it gets easier!" "I hope so! It doesn't help that I fought with my father again!" "What happened?" "He got used to having a gay son but being a fairy was over the top. My mother doesn't care. She wants to plan my wedding to whoever. Plus, she is Professor Sequoia. he has studied so many mystical Pokemon secrets; being a fairy is nothing to her. However, my father said that being a fairy is too "gay" for me and living with the friend that put my life in danger is way too close." Joanne sighs. "I mean, it was my cousin's wedding where some bitch from the past had an issue with my family that killed you." "No. It is not your fault. Please, don't give my father the satisfaction of being right. You know that he started singing Way Too Close from Central Park, right?" "Yikes! That is the time to run!" Haru and Joanna laugh. "I'm sorry. I wish he were more understanding." "I guess he has a hard time with change, but I can handle it." "Is there anything I can do to help?" "With my father, no. With my midterm, yes!" "Great. We have all the time in the world." "I have until Monday!" "We have a few days; I can work miracles!" Joanna said as Haru laughs.
In the Student Council Office, Rocky decided to work with Moxie on the Homecoming Dance to support Odd. "Okay, I see that we need lights. I think if we have the dance during the second week of November, we can get them at a discount," Rocky said. "True, but remember that we have to have the dance after the Knights Coltillan, but if you can, do it!" Odd said. "Now, as for the food and drinks. We have the Hord'uevres set, and the drinks are cucumber water and lightly sweetly lemonade," Mosie said. "Excuse me? Those are the drinks!" Odd said. "Yes, class president!" Dexter said as he arrives. "You see, it is customary to have simple drinks for Homecoming! Maybe seeing that you don't know the rules, maybe I should take over planning for Homecoming!" "Fuck you, Dexter. Headmaster Chidh wants us to work together more than ever after the shit you and Daah did," Odd said. "Whatever!" Dexter shouts. "Do you know that it has to be after the Knight's Coltillan?" "Yes. Do you know when that is?" "No, That is your job, Class President!" "And as my Vice President, you could back me up!" "Or, I can take over. Choose your pick!" "A little rude, Dexter!" Moxie shouts. At the same time, Sajin enters the office with a request from the Drama Department. "Hello, I need to fill out a request from the Drama Department," Sajin said. "Sure, what is it?" Odd asks. "We need a bonus in time for the Literature Class Midterm Performances." "Sure, I can help you," Dexter said. After Dexter fills out the form, he speaks to Sajin. "I filled it out. Omar and I still have to speak to Headmaster Irritation, but we will get this through in no time!" Sajin is left speechless, mainly due to his crush. "Sajin?" Odd shouts. "Huh? Yeah?" "Are you okay?" "Sure, what was the question?" "I didn't ask one." "Oh. Sorry!" Sajin blushes. "But, you can help us. We need to know when is the Knight's Coltillan." "Sure, I can write it down!" Sajin writes it down. "Thank you! This means Rocky can get the lights in time," Odd said. "You're welcome!" Sajin leaves. "You are letting the non-fairy handle it!" "Really, Dexter!" Moxie shouts. "Don't really Dexter me! You are dating a prince! You have it easy! Do you know what it is like not to have it easy!" Dexter said. "Speaking for all the non-fairies here on campus, yes, I do!" Rocky shouts. "Really! You act as you have it hard. It is not like you are fighting with an unqualified person!" "Like you!" "Fucky you, Rocky!" "Fuck you, too! Maybe if you would not have a hobby of spying on people, then maybe you would be likable!" "You have no idea what it is like for-you know what, fuck all of you!" Dexter grabs the form and leaves to find the Headmaster. Moxie sighs. "I may be dating a prince, but he is too busy at West Campus to respond to me!" "I heard. Allison said that her twin must be wrapped up in his studies. She hasn't heard from him in weeks," Odd said. "I hope so!" "I mean, Ash might pop up at the Homecoming Dance, which West Campus should be going to!" Rocky said. "I really hope so!" In the hallway, Dexter stop and screams. "They have no idea what it is like to be me and to deal with-forget it. I have a class president who is a goofball and a cutie. However, my heart belongs to a Knight who needs to get his shit together!"
In the Main Square, Allison watches as Hiroki and Devon have a Pokemon Battle. "Oshawott! Use Razor Shell!" Hiroki commands. "Charmeleon! Use Ember!" Devon commands. Allison smiles as she reads and eats a Jalapeno Popper. Sajin taps her shoulder. "Hey, Alicinda." "Hey, Sajin, are you here to see your brother battle?" "No. He does not like that after our mom. She told the crowd that he made him tough because she told him not to cry during potty training!" "Ouch! I mean, I know my boyfriend's mom can embarrass him but not that personally!" "Yep! What are you eating?" "Jalapeno Poppers. Try one." Sajin does. "This is good. Can I have more?" "Sure!" "Also, can I ask you for advice?" "Of course." "Thank you. I would ask my leader, but the way I see him, he would have birds circling his head when it comes to love." Allison laughs. "I know that he is your boyfriend, but I think I would be asking for too much!" Sajin said. "I can see your point!" Allison said. "Also, Sangharsh and Daah have their own problems with love!" "How so?" "Well, Sangharsh is infatuated with yo-" Sajin looks at Allison and changes course. "With Yogurt and a girl he can't have because she is unavailable." "The worst!" "Then Daah is in love with a guy who pays her no mind!" "I'm sorry." "Plus, after the shit, she pulled with Utanka's inferno ball and with Dexter's stupid plan, I am not speaking with her." "Whoa, are you and Daah close?" "We are. We grew up together. She was there when my father died shortly after Devon was born." "I'll bet that was hard. I'm glad she was there." "Me too. I don't remember my father much, but my mother told me it was like hell seeing me cry out for him, and she told me Daah was there for me." "Then maybe you should talk to Daah." "No way! I want to talk to you. I think it will be good for me." "Okay, what is it?" "You see, it is about- look at that Fire Spin!" "Sajin, who do you like?" "It is complicated." "Which guy?" "How do you know it is a guy?" "When Nivida attacked Bukka and Chemila, they told me that she told all three of you truths about your love. And she told you, Forbidden Love." Sajin blushes. "Who is it? Dexter?" "What makes you think, Dexter?" "The way you mentioned his name, you were hurt about his stupid plan with the drone," Allison said. "I also mean, why Forbidden Love? I mean, who cares if you like another guy." "My mom may care. She keeps talking about planning a wedding for me! She might be crushed if she knew I like guys." "She wants you to be happy. She won't care!" "And my brother! He worships me. I don't want to ruin his image of me!" "Having a brother who is following his heart is brave, and that is what he thinks of you; at least that is what Hiroki tells his sister." "Don't forget I am a Knight! I am in the spotlight." "With a trainer like Arch Prime Jason and a leader like Ashton, you have support." "I know, but it is hard, and what if Dexter doesn't even like guys!" "Word on the street is that one of the reasons he can't stand the class president is that he doesn't want to de distracted by his attractiveness." Sajin looks sad. "Relax, Dexter thinks Omar is in love with food and 'blueberries' and such no real feelings," Allison said. "Great, you can be my wing-woman!" "Is that still a thing? You could talk to him." "No way. Please. I trust you. Despite what Daah thinks, I think you are cool!" Sajin says as Allison smiles. "Thanks, at least we can be friends," Allison says. "Maybe with Daah as well?" Allison looks at Dexter. "Sure, if you can tell me there was no war in Baa Sing Se?" Sajin laughs. "Too soon!" At the moment, a wormhole emerges from the square.
"What the fuck?" Devon shouts. "Get away from the hole!" Sajin shouts. The wormhole gets bigger, and a Pokemon is trying to escape, but so far, only the arms are visible to the students. It has thin arms with white frills on its wrists and teardrop-shaped hands. The right arm is pink, while the left is blue. Each arm has a spherical bulge near the shoulder. "We need to send it back!" Allison shouts. She places her hand over her necklace. "Raichu, I choose you!" Raichu magically appears. "Rai-Rai!" "I know, we have our work cut for us!" Sajin calls out his Xatu. "Xatu!" "Let's go! Xatu, use Air Slash!" Sajin commands. Air Slash stuns the Pokemon, but it uses Ember. "We can do it better! Ember!" Devon commands. Chameleon uses Ember, and the Pokemon uses Light Screen. "Use Hydro Pump!" Hiroki commands. Hydro Pump makes a direct hit. "Use Thunderbolt!" Allison commands Raichu. Raichu's Thunderbolt stuns the Pokemon. "Great, not let's make sure we send it back to the wormhole! Charmeleon, use Fire Spin!" Devon commands. Fire Spin was stopped in its tracks by one of the arms. "What?" Devon shouts. The Pokemon users Confuse Ray and send Charmeleon flying. "Charmeleon!" Devon cries. "It can use both Fire and Ghost Type moves," Allison said. "Then we can fight back with more power!" Sajin said. "Use Psychic!" Xatu uses Psychic to hold on to the Pokemon's arms. "Now, use Confuse Ray!" When Xatu did, the Pokemon broke free from the Psychic and used Confuse Ray also. The two moves were neck and neck until the Pokemon's move was too much and knocked out Xatu. "Xatu!" Sajin cries. "Xatu is weak against Ghost Types," Hiroki said. "It is, but we can stop the Pokemon from coming out!" Allison said. "Use, Volt Tackle!" Allison commands. "Use Hydro Pump!" Hiroki commands. The two physical moves combine and froze the Pokemon, or at least, that was what they thought. "Know, Raichu, use Electro Ball" Electro Ball comes close to the Pokemon, but the Pokemon use Will-O-Wisp and fuses with the Electro Ball and explodes, sending Raichu right in Allison's arms. "Raichu!" "It's up to us!" Hiroki said. "Osha-Osha!" The Pokemon uses Shadow Ball. "Use Razor Shell!" Razor Shell deflects the Shadow Ball. The Pokemon kicks it up a notch by using Mystical Fire. Oshawott is sent flying. "Oshawott!" Hiroki cries. Oshawott jumps up. "You still want to battle?" "Oshawott!" "Then, use Hydro Pump!" Hydro Pump makes contact with another Mystical Fire. The two moves are neck and neck. "You can do it, Oshawott!" Hiroki cries out. "You can do it!" Allison shouts. "Keep it up!" Devon shouts. "Let's go!" Sajin shouts. "Raichu!" "Xatu!" "Charmeleon!" All of the Pokemon are cheering on Oshawott. "Come, On!" Hiroki shouts. Hydro Pump breaks as Oshawott glows. "What the fuck?" Hiroki shouts. "Oshawott is evolving into Dewott!" Allison said. Hiroki stares in amazement at his new Dewott. "Dewott!" "Are you ready?" "Dewott!" "Great! Use Razor Shell!" The Pokemon uses Ember, and Razor Shell destroys it. The Pokemon uses Mystical Fire again, and Dewoot takes a hit but can use Water Pulse, which confuses the Pokemon. "This is the time to use Revenge!" Sajin said. "Revenge?" Hiroki asks. "It is a fighting move that can be used when a Pokemon has been damaged in the same move!" "Okay!" The Pokemon uses Mystical Fire again, and Dewott takes a hit while trying to use Water Pulse. "Use Revenge!" Dewott can push most of the arms into the wormhole. "Now use, Hydro Pump!" Hydro Pump knocks the Pokemon all the way in, and the wormhole closes. "We did it!" Hiroki shouts as he hugs Dewott. "We did it!" Devon shouts. "Great! We should tell the Headmaster about this as well," Sajin said. "And get all of our Pokemon to see Nurse Joy," Allison said.
At dinner time, all of the students are dressed in regular clothes. "It was what kind of Pokemon?" Jeremy "I am not sure. But it can use mainly Fire and Ghost-type moves," Allison said. "You could have called me," Ash said. "I'm sorry, babe! There was no time with the arms and the attacks. I know how you love a good battle," Allison said in a teasing voice. Ash blushes. "But you said that Hirokin was the hero and that he now has a Dewott!" Odd said. "Yep. After Raichu, Xatu, and Charmeleon were defeated, Hiroki and Dewott saved the day." "No wonder he was in a great mood and why my parents were freaking out," Yumi said. "He was excited about what he did, but they stop listening after a mysterious Pokemon attack." "That sounds like them. Was Sajin a big help?" Aelita asks. "Yes. Sajin is great at battling, and he loves his brother. At the Pokemon Center, we started talking about how 'there was no war in Ba Sing Se' and other things," Allison said. "I am glad that Sajin is normal. If only Daah could be," Brock said. "She may be shitting ton us, but she is good to Sajin, so maybe he can talk to her," Allison said as she smiles at Sajin, who smiles back. Daah looks at this and throws her tray on the floor. Sangharsh shakes his head as Rosé walks back. "I can't wait to do our part of the Lit Class midterm performance!" She said as she side-eyes Allison. "What was that?" Ulrich asks. "Lit Class bitch. For our class's scene, it is between the leads, which were given to Ash and Rosé," Dawn said. "Are you okay, Allison?" Cressila asks. "Yeah. She is doing one scene with Ash for five minutes. I have Ash all the time!" Allison said. Ash blushes as Rosé growls and looks at Sangharsh, who drinks his tea. "Rosé better learn to act then because if she can't take the hint, the whole school will be her enemy!" Hiroshima said. "I say, we cheers to getting our midterms done and over with!" Odd said. "I second that, class president!" Dawn said. They all click their glasses together.
