Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Fallen Queen. Enjoy the 1200-word chapter. I don't own RWBY, Monty Oum and Rooster Teeth do.

"What's the matter, Cin?" The man said and cackled like a wounded Beowolf. "It's like you've seen a Geist." The man stated as Cinder and Arthas gasped.

It was Tyrian Callows, the same Tyrian Callows Cinder watched Arthas killed. The man had pale skin and wore blackish gloves over a purplish black overcoat which seemed to flow like a cape. His obsidian colored boots made almost no noise to where Cinder wondered if she was seeing a specter.

The man grinned and dragged his tail across the floor. Poison dripped from the appendage like a syringe, Tyrian cackled.

"Mommy, do you and daddy know this guy?" Jade asked innocently. "I saw him at the restraint a few days ago." Jade said which made Cinder's remaining eye widen in terror.

"Jade, go with daddy upstairs please…" Cinder said, she took deep breathes as Tyrian grinned and launched himself at Cinder.

She formed her scimitar and blocked Tyrian's weapons while Tyrian's men raised their weapons.

"ARTHAS, TAKE HER AND GO NOW!" Cinder roared before sending Tyrian backwards. Tyrian grinned and dusted off his coat.

Arthas scooped up his daughter and rushed up the stairs while the thugs opened fire.

"NO!" Cinder screamed as a massive torrent of flames exploded from her mouth. The thugs scattered as the fire scorched everything in its path.

Tyrian flipped over the flames, dropkicking Cinder to the ground. Arthas rounded the corner with Opal following behind the former assassin.

"Do you want to know what I heard when I was brought back?" Tyrian questioned as he looked at Cinder who flipped to her feet. "It was that the goddess was dead… And that the great Cinder Fall… Had become Headmistress of Haven. The very school our queen ordered you to destroy." Tyrian stated with a massive grin.

Tyrian dropped his long coat on the ground and unfolded the Queen's Servants. Cinder growled as flames started to dance from her left eye.

"Jade?" Tyrian questioned before tilting his head like a King Taijitu ready to devour prey. "Such a beautiful girl. I'll be sure to tell her the truth about her mother." Tyrian said with a cackle.

"You… Will die, Callows." Cinder growled and twirled her scimitar and looked at Tyrian with pure hatred. "And this time? Your corpse won't even survive." Cinder added as she lunged forward.

(With Arthas)

Arthas turned to Opal while letting Jade go. He sighed and started to pace around the room before humming.

"Who is that man?" Opal asked as Jade looked at her father.

"A monster from the past." Arthas said before turning to look at Opal. "Call the police, I'm going to back Cinder up." Arthas ordered as he drew Judas and Charon.

"I really need better names for these." Arthas muttered as he walked towards the door.

"Daddy?" Jade asked which made Arthas pause. "Is mommy fighting a bad guy?" Jade asked as Arthas holstered his weapons for a moment.

"Mommy is fighting a bad guy." Arthas said while patting Jade on the head. "And Mommy and Daddy want you to stay here." Arthas stated while he looked to the side at Opal.

"I'll keep her safe." Opal put in while Arthas hugged his daughter.

"Stay with Ms. Opal until mom and dad get back, ok?" Arthas asked and turned to look at the door. "And if anyone comes to the door you don't know? You know what me and mom told you to do, right?" Arthas questioned and walked out the door after getting a nod.

He would be damned if a serial killer from the past ended up hurting his family.

(With Cinder)

Cinder blocked a swing at her head before sending Tyrian backwards with a swing of her blade.

"You've gotten better…" Tyrian stated with a cat like grin as he crouched down. "Tell me, did you even care about the goddess? Did you look Salem in the eye when you betrayed her like you did?" Tyrian questioned Cinder as she took a deep breath.

Cinder didn't know if she could defeat Tyrian without using everything she had. Tyrian wasn't just a mass murdering psychopath; he was an assassin trained by Salem to execute her very well.

"I'm starting to regret feeling regret over mourning your death." Cinder stated while twirling her blade. "I know Watts was garbage, but at least he had class." Cinder put in as she allowed herself a small smirk.

Tyrian growled and lunged forward. He cut at Cinder's left only for the Fall Maiden to backflip over Tyrian and onto the stairs.

Cinder smirked as Tyrian stalked forward like the predator he was. Cinder composed herself and prepared to begin again.

"What are you even doing here?" Cinder questioned with a raised eyebrow. "You think I could have killed Salem? Even on my best day I couldn't overpower her. I just helped bring down her magic so someone else could." Cinder stated and slowly started down the stairs again.

"Don't you dare lie, you damned BITCH!" Tyrian hissed like a snake. "You wanted her power! You wanted to rule Remnant! I warned the goddess not to trust you! But she didn't listen." Tyrian said with a cackle before composing himself.

"And where is she now, Tyrian?" Cinder asked with the same venom that she had given from this spot decades ago. "Where is Salem?" Cinder questioned as she prepared for another round of combat with Tyrian as the man growled.

Tyrian slid his blades along the floor while Cinder took a deep breath.

"You're a monster." Tyrian stated with glee. "Because you're never going to change. Just look at me." Tyrian put in, trying to make Cinder rush in.

The Fall Maiden glared at Tyrian with annoyance. She wanted to keep her head straight.

"All I see is a pathetic sociopath who never got over losing." Cinder said before Tyrian rushed forward. "I'm not going to lose my mind over you." Cinder put in before parrying the hit from Tyrian.

Her sword shattered as Tyrian grinned and threw himself forward with his tail raised. He lunged forward only for Cinder to block it with her fingers. She smirked before sending Tyrian flying with a blast of fire. His Aura glowed bright purple.

"Did you even come here with a plan?" Cinder asked while looking at Tyrian's band of thugs. "Or just to mess with my school?" Cinder asked and tugged off the sleeve on her right arm.

The formerly disposable sleeve fell to the ground as she looked at Tyrian and flexed her Shadow Arm.

Cinder glared at the group with annoyance and cracked her fingers.

Then the gunshots rang out which caused Cinder and Arthas to turn.
