Every Beginning

80 million years ago. The golden age of the dinosaurs. The earth is still young, beautiful, filled with life and yet deadly and forever changing. But something is different. Humans and dinos now exist together. Many humans live and work in cooperation with their dinosaur counterparts.

Speckles, Blue Eyes and Junior have worked tirelessly to create a solution for the other humans that miss their old way of life. All the dinos across the land have been summoned. For a great announcement is to be made.

A vast hoard of dinos are now gathered at the place the White Dino had them do battle once upon a time. Speckles and his family stand before what appears to be a gigantic screen that stretches out for miles. Behind this screen we can make out some structures but that is all.

At the front of the dino gathering is none other than Cy! The talkative dino who had helped out in ages passed. "Hello there Cy." Said speckles. "I did not expect to see you here." "Are you kidding me, I wouldn't miss this for the world!" Speckles speaks to all before him.

"As many of you know, our powers are long gone. So this has been a difficult and trying project for all of us. Never the less we are finally finished. We have built a place where humans that miss their old lives can live as they did. Freely and happily. They can come and go as they wish, and dinosaurs can see them in their natural environments."

Blue Eyes takes over. "Any dino who wishes to live as the humans do can also join in. There are no rules, there are no locked doors. This is a place where all can live together and understand one another."

Junior finishes. "As all of you know this was my idea. But I don't want credit. It was mankind that inspired me to come up with this incredible place. Without further delay, it is my distinct pleasure to bring to you…Humanity Park!"

The giant screen comes down to reveal a vast human city. Complete with skyscrapers, attractions and vehicles. The dinos gathered before Speckles and his family are completely overwhelmed and stand there with jaws agape. Speckles wonders what this means and turns around. "OH CRAP!" He yells.

As we pull back into the sky a scene of total chaos is revealed. Thousands if not hundreds of thousands of humans are running amok. Many with clothes, many without. There is fighting and rioting and multiple buildings are on fire. They are demanding bigger boxes to live in.

Eventually the entire planet is revealed. Filled with humans and dinosaurs and an uncertain future.

The voice of Speckles can be heard beneath. "Cy my old friend. Get the tranquilizer gun. This is going to be the longest day of our damn lives…"

The scene fades to black.

A Heavy Metal song plays over the end credits. (Sorry, no lyrics this time!)

That's absolutely all I've got left.

Thanks for reading again. Gareth.
