It's been five weeks since Nega Duck was put in jail thanks to the original Darkwing's help.

During those weeks Naomi had to stay in bed and rest due to all the injuries she'd gotten from Nega Launchpad.

Thankfully, the friendly four and Gosalyn have been taking care of Naomi and made sure that she wasn't bored to tears.

Most of the time, Megavolt, Quackerjack, Bushroot and Liquidator were also working on the portal to get Naomi home.

But while that happened, Naomi kept thinking about what she wanted to do and she knew that to make up her mind soon.

Which brings us to today, the friendly four had finished remaking the portal so they planned on opening it in the garage of their house.

"Are we ready?" Megavolt asked everyone, his family and Naomi were right behind him. "Ready." Bushroot answered for the rest of them.

Quackerjack, Liquidator, Gosalyn and Naomi nodded. "Pull the leaver!" Megavold told Quackerjack, he pulled the one of leavers on the wall.

However the leaver that Qackerjack had just pulled didn't turn on the portal but instead it opened the floor underneath Megavolt's feet.

"WRONG LEAVER!" Megavolt shouted as he fell through a trap door, everyone heard a splash of water before looking at the jester.

"Oopsie." Quackerjack said sheepishly, the garage door opened and in came a soaking wet Megavolt who was really mad right now.

"Why do we even have that leaver?" Megavolt asked in annoyance, luckily he'd been wearing a rubber suit so he didn't get electrocuted.

"It should've been labeled." Naomi thought as she and Gosalyn struggled to keep from laughing at the funny scene that had just happened.

No one knew why they had that other leaver. "This is right one." Liquidator told Quackerjack, the water dog pulled the right leaver this time.

The portal opened and everyone saw the living room of Naomi's house. "It's my house!" Naomi said with a smile, she ran right inside the portal.

"Wait for us!" Gosalyn called to her, she and her father's raced after their friend. "This is it?" Quackerjack asked Naomi, the young human nodded.

As her friends looked around, Naomi went to her room and called Hanna. "Hello?" Hanna answered, she sounded like she'd been sleeping at the time.

"Hanna, it's me." Naomi told her, Hanna paused before going on a rant which made Naomi pull the phone away from her ear as she listened to Hanna.

"Where have you been?!" Hanna asked in anger, she had been worried about her best friend. "It's a long story." Naomi replied to Hanna, she demanded to know.

Naomi told Hanna what happened to her when the storm had hit and how she wound up in the Negaverse along with now wanting to stay with her new friends.

"I see...truth is, the friendly four would be better parents then your family." Hanna said in earnest, Hanna had loved Naomi's parents but not the rest of her family.

"You think I should stay with them?" Naomi asked hesitantly, she wanted to know if she had her best friend's full support since they always supported each other.

"I think you should but first, why not say goodbye to our classmates?" Hanna told her, Naomi smiled at the suggestion because it wouldn't fair to not say goodbye.

"Don't worry, I will." Naomi replied to her, after hanging up her phone, Naomi sent out a text blast to her classmates and teachers to meet her at the park really soon.

After that, Naomi went back downstairs to her friends. "Guys?" Naomi called to them, they looked at her. "Can we talk, please?" Naomi asked nervously, the five smiled.

"What's wrong?" Bushroot asked her, Naomi shifted her feet. "I've decided that I want to stay with you, if you'll have me?" Naomi told them, her friends froze for a second.

The silence made Naomi wonder if she had put them on the spot. "I-I'm sorry. Forget what I said-!" Naomi started to say, she had been cut off by Gosalyn hugging her happily.

"I'm so happy that you want to stay!" Gosalyn said with a smile, the friendly four joined in on the hug. "So are we." Liquidator chimed in, Naomi smiled and hugged them all back.

"Should we get your things?" Quackerjack asked Naomi, she shook her head. "Not yet because I need to say goodbye to my classmates first." Naomi answered, her friends understood.

So a little while later, Naomi and her new family stood behind a curtain on the stage in the park as they heard all of Naomi's school friends and teachers on the other side of the stage.

"Alright people, settle down!" Hanna called out, everyone stopped talking. "Now, we're here because our girl, Naomi found a better family." Hanna told them, everyone cheered happily.

Naomi blushed at the cheering. "However, her new family doesn't live in town so Naomi is here to say goodbye and we must stay strong for our girl!" Hanna said as she choked back a sob.

With that, the curtain opened and everyone saw Naomi standing center stage with the friendly four and Gosalyn standing on either side of her which surprised those who knew the five of them.

"What's up you guys?" Naomi called out, her classmates and teachers looked at her. "Now I know that some of you know my friends here but rest assured these five are good." Naomi said happily.

Naomi saw that other fans of Darkwing Duck weren't so sure, so in order to ease their worries, Naomi told everyone about how she ended up in the Negaverse which made them all gasp at her.

The other fans then realized that the friendly four were the good versions of the four members of the fearsome five so they relaxed but payed close attention to what Naomi was telling them.

"...so that's why I'm here now because I wanted to say goodbye before leaving." Naomi finished explaining, her classmates and teachers were sad but happy for the young eleven year old girl.

Naomi looked at Hanna who was on the right side of the stage with a sound board and with a single nod, Hanna turned on some music which was made for this special occasion right now.

At the end of the song, everyone cried while they cheered for Naomi who was trying not to cry herself. "Thank you, everyone!" Naomi shouted in happiness, her new family hugged her gently.

"It's time." Megavolt told her, Naomi nodded then turned back to everyone. "I hope that one day, we'll meet again!" Naomi said with a smile, her classmates and teachers shouted their goodbyes.

Hanna hugged Naomi one last time. "You guys better take good care of our girl." Hanna said playfully, Gosalyn and her father's laughed. "We will!" The five replied to her, Naomi laughed with them.

As the family of six made their way back to Naomi's house, her classmates and teachers hugged her goodbye or congratulated her with heartfelt words as the six passed them on their way back.

Soon, the six got back to Naomi's house but froze when they saw a car parked in the driveway. "Who's that?" Bushroot asked Naomi, she shook in fear but went towards the front door of her house.

"It's the rest of my former family." Naomi answered, the friendly four narrowed their eyes. "Where is there that useless girl!?" A hard male voice rang out, Naomi frowned in fear of her Uncle's voice.

"Here we go." Naomi muttered, she went in first and greeted her family in their native tongue. "Ni hao Jiating." Naomi said formally, her family turned to face Naomi as they gave her hard looks.

Gosalyn and her father's watched as Naomi spoke to her family in Chinese and though they couldn't understand what was being said, they knew it wasn't good from Naomi's stiff body language.

It only got worse when Naomi's uncle slapped her causing her to fall onto the floor. "THAT"S ENOUGH!" Bushroot shouted in anger, he used his power over plants to capture Naomi's family.

All of them cried out in fear. "You will not lay a hand on our daughter!" Quackerjack said with a frown, Gosalyn hugged Naomi. "You leave my sister alone, you bullies!" Gosalyn shouted at them.

"Naomi is coming with us and you won't harm her ever again!" Liquidator said with a snarl, Megvolt held up his hands. "If you even try then you'll get the shock of a lifetime!" Megavolt said dangerously.

Bushroot helped Naomi up while leaving her former family tied up in his plants before he and the others helped Naomi get the rest of her things. "Thanks you guys." Naomi said with a grateful smile.

"We're your family now and family helps each other out." Gosalyn replied to her, soon the family of six were ready to leave. "Will they be stuck like that?" Naomi asked as she gestured to her former family.

"The plants will go back to normal once we leave." Bushroot told her, Naomi smiled at that because the portal reopened and the family of six stepped through it. "We're back~!" Quackerjack sang out.

"Welcome home Naomi!" Gosalyn and her father's said happily, Naomi laughed softly. "I'm home." Naomi replied to them, the family did a group hug to welcome their new addition of their household.

Naomi was happy to finally be apart of a new loving family and she knew that her Mama and Baba would approve of their daughter living with those who cared about her just like she cared about them.

Gosalyn, Megavolt, Quackerjack, Bushroot, Liquidator and Naomi went back inside the house for some family time after today's excitement and they knew things would be better then they were before.
