Chapter 7:- The Letter

Within the home of Minato Aqua, the sight of the girl was seen waking up as she turned off the alarm on her phone and yawned as the girl stretched her body and turned to the other side of the bed and hugged the pillow on her bed. Beside her bed, the sight of a purple magic circle would appear on the floor as Yuuya was then seen rising up from the magic circle, slowly as he took his time to rise from the circle as he entered the room dramatically with his powers but then noticed that Aqua was asleep. The boy's eyes glowed bright pink for a second as he would then walk over to her and would head down to her head as he would then whisper into her ear softly.
Yuuya: Onee-chan. It's morning~
Aqua: Nnggh...Five more minutes..
Yuuya: *He would sigh softly as he'd then climbed onto the bed and turned Aqua's body and pinned her down on the bed as her eyes opened up and widened when he pinned her as she gasped and blushed as Yuuya would blush slightly and stare into Aqua's eyes* I-I hope you know that this is embarrassing for me..
Aqua: Th-Then why do it? *She asked as she stuttered and blushed as she looked into the boy's eyes*
Yuuya: Because this is the only way I can think of to get you out of bed..
Aqua: Dummy… *She said softly as she blushed and smiled as Yuuya would then get off of her and she would sit up on the bed and stretch her arms and yawned as she looked at the boy and noticed that his entire has become more unique than usual. As Aqua stared at Yuuya's back, she saw that he was wearing a black and dark purple-lined suit with a long overcoat that is coloured in dark purple and black and the length of the coat would reach down to the calf of his legs and as Aqua stared at him closely, she had noticed that his eyes were continuously changing colour in each passing second in a rainbow-like manner and his hair was longer but thinner than before and the boy had gotten a more mature and bad-boy look to his face than the usual innocent look that he had during their first encounter before the First Impact* You've changed a lot since then..
Yuuya: Hmm? What do you mean?
Aqua: The last time we met, we didn't talk much but you were so nice to all of us. You also had that cute young look that made you more child-like and innocent but what happened to you?
Yuuya: People change and things happen. Besides, the last time you saw me was a few years ago, a lot has happened since then. *As the boy said with a saddened look on his face, he would turn to the girl on the bed and smiled at her innocently as he would then leave the room and after leaving, Aqua felt heartbroken from the sight*
"I've met a lot of people in my life. Some were mean and many were bullies but there were a lot that were kind hearted and pure. Yuuya-kun being one of those unorthodox sort of people. He accepts certain things from people and does not accept others. His way doing things makes him...Questionably odd. He doesn't use normal ways to tease people and he doesn't play games. He's not interested in music or anything that relates to entertainment but instead, all he does is study, fight, learn and watch us. I've seen his encounter with Fubuki-senpai and to be able to make someone as nice as her get angry is just plain unusual. He also does not show any sign of interest to be in any sort of relationship despite knowing that many of the girls here like him but rumour has been saying that Yuuya-kun and Mio-senpai have some sort of spark but that is all just a rumour. Many of the survivors are grateful for him but they are also afraid and...I am too. We don't know what to expect from and do not know what he wants and what he is capable of, the biggest fear is that we'd all assume that this world that he "saved" may just be an illusion that he made to have us "Rest in Peace"...But it all seems to fictitious to be true but considering him, the possibility is there." Aqua thought to herself as she got dressed and would head out to the dining room and saw that there was Japanese food on the table for her breakfast and Yuuya was nowhere to be seen. The girl got worried as she would look around the entire apartment to find the boy but could not find a single trace of him, even when she called out to him, he did not respond as she got worried that she may have upsetted him for saying something insensitive.
As Aqua sighed softly, she then felt someone hugging her from behind as she would look back and noticed that Yuuya was hugging her from behind as he had his hands on her stomach and his face on her back, the girl blushed slightly as she got flustered.
Yuuya: *As he looked up at Aqua with his eyes glowing in multiple colours, he would look into her eyes as he could read her emotions* You're….Afraid of me, huh?
Aqua: Eh? N-No, I'm not.
Yuuya: You can't lie to me now. I can see into you. You're worried that I might do something to you and your friends. *As he said, he would slowly let go of Aqua and back away from her as Aqua got worried as she turned her attention to him*
Aqua: N-No! It's just that...I…
Yuuya: It's fine. A lot of people are afraid of me anyway. Considering that I cannot die and cannot be hurt along with the fact that I can do anything, they worry that I may be playing as God to them. I don't blame you guys, technically I am a monster to you all. Just some random kid that came out of a portal and can't get killed is scary after all, not to mention that I killed over a few dozen Evangelions without any effort. It's no big deal..
Aqua: Y-Yuuya-kun, that's not what I'm trying to say.
Yuuya: Oh no, no, it's fine. There is no need to explain. Everyone I've ever met in my life has always thought of me as a monster, nothing more than that.
Aqua: I-I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! I'm an idiot! I shouldn't have thought of something like that about you..
Yuuya: It's fine! I've been through this about a hundred times. It means nothing to me. *As the boy said in a calm manner, he would then disappear into the window behind him as he was then gone from the apartment building and had left. After Yuuya had left, Aqua was left alone in her apartment as she would fall to her knees and teared up slightly as she would begin rubbing her eyes*
On top of the tall watchtower that is in the middle of the city, Yuuya warped to the tower and saw that Okayu was on the tower and was on duty. As the cat girl noticed the boy, she smiled and waved at him as she was holding onto a Nintendo Switch and was playing her game. Like Aqua, Okayu noticed that the boy had completely changed the way he looked as he had dressed up more maturely. As Okayu got up and put the Switch down, she would walk up to the boy and embrace him as she would pat his head lightly.
Yuuya: What are you doing?
Okayu: Giving you a hug. Am I not supposed to?
Yuuya: No, you can.
Okayu: You're troubled, aren't you?
Yuuya: I always am.
Okayu: What seems to be the problem, Yuuya-kun?
Yuuya:...Are you all afraid of me?
Okayu: I don't know about the others but I'm not.
Yuuya: I see. Well, Aqua is afraid of me. She believes that I may be capable of doing more harm than the Evangelions.
Okayu: Well, I'm sorry to say this but can you blame her? I mean, you do realise what you are capable of, right? You are really really powerful and there's no doubt about it but many of the survivors don't understand you and are more afraid of the outcome of facing you than the Evangelions.
Yuuya: Maybe I'm….Not a great person. The things I do are wrong..
Okayu: No, no! Of course not. Everyone is special in their own way. You've been working hard ever since you came here and have not once stopped what you were doing. I'm very proud of you, Yuuya-kun. You're the glue that holds us all together, without you, we would all be dead by now and the Evas would have taken control of this planet.
Yuuya: No...I didn't come here to play or make friends, I just came to do what I believe was the right thing to do. Nothing else, I didn't want any "Thank yous" or even a "Bless you" from anyone, I just did what I had to do.
Okayu: Yuuya-kun…
Yuuya: *He sighed softly as Okayu would slowly release the boy as he would look up into the bright sky as he'd then turn and look at Okayu* Okayu…?
Okayu: Yeah? What's up?
Yuuya: Can you do me one small favour if it's not too much trouble?
Okayu: S-Sure! Anything! What is it?
Yuuya: *He'd then hand a letter to Okayu as the girl would lightly grab hold onto the letter and look at it and turned to look at the boy with a questionable look on her face* When you see Mio, please pass this to her and thank you. *He said with a soft innocent smile on his face as Okayu blushed lightly at the sight of his smile as the boy would then lightly pull Okayu towards him as he would hug her tightly and as he did, Okayu gasped as her eyes widened in shock as Yuuya would then pull away from her and would tear up slightly and spoke to her softly* Bye bye.
Okayu: Eh? W-Wai-! *As she wanted to call out to him, the boy disappeared as he had warped away to an unknown location* Y-Yuuya-kun… *As the girl softly said his name, she lightly rubbed her nose and eyes as she teared up slightly*
On the dark side of the Moon, the sight of a small magic circle was seen appearing in front of hundreds of Evangelions as Yuuya rose from the magic circle as he had his eyes closed. As the boy would slowly open his eyes and glare up at the aliens that all stared down at him, his eyes glowed bright purple as multiple warp gates and magic circles would appear behind him as thousands of massive Dark Snakes and giant animal-like beasts would appear from the portals and magic circles as they got up close to the Evangelions. One of the aliens would then warp in a long spear-like lance and take aim at Yuuya as the boy's eyes turned red and the army behind him would charge towards the Aliens and attack. As the titans all fought, Yuuya would then walk straight into the battlefield as the massive creatures fought to the death. Down on the surface of the planet, the sight of Aqua was seen walking around the city streets as she was asking around if anyone had seen Yuuya. As the girl got tired and sat down on a bench that was near the hideout base, the sound of footsteps was then heard as Aqua turned her attention to the side and saw the sight of Okayu walking towards her. As Okayu walked towards Aqua, the girl who was sitting down would stand up as Okayu would then speak to her.
Within Ookami Mio's apartment, the girl was drying up her clothes on her balcony as she could hear the sound of loud explosions from a distance as her ears on her head would react to the sound and Mio would then try to find where the sound was coming from until Subaru would come out of the living room to speak to Mio.
Subaru: Mio-sha~! You're out of memory space.
Mio: Eh?! Then I guess I'll have to buy a new hard drive for the computer again.
Subaru: Then let's head out together!
Mio: Sure~ *As she said with a smile on her face and turned to Subaru. Up above behind Mio in the clear sky, the sight of the moon could be seen as there were multiple tiny lights being shunned from the moon*
On the moon, the sight of thousands to millions of Evangelions and many of Yuuya's monsters were seen killed in battle. Yuuya was flying within space as he was fighting against an Evangelion unit that had "Awakened", as the boy used his powers to remove most of the limbs of the awakened alien, the mighty beast would regenerate its limbs and grab hold onto the boy with its massive hands and threw him down onto the ground and fired a bright beam from its eyes as the beam would hit Yuuya and create a massive cross-shaped explosion that could be seen from the other planets. In mere seconds, Yuuya was seen rising from the ground as she stood up and dust off his clothes as he would glare up at the Evangelion and snapped his fingers as he created a small black hole within the Evangelion's chest and caused it to get absorbed from within as the black hole would disappear after absorbing the alien, as Yuuya's army would then charge forward, the boy turned his attention to where his army was heading, a massive red spear was then thrown from a distance and would pierce through boy's entire body, only leaving his neck and head to be intact as the boy would then looked at where the spear was fired and saw the sight of a levitating Evangelion that had a red visor on its head along with an angel's halo above it's head as it had tossed the spear at Yuuya. As the boy tried to free himself from the spear, he then noticed that he was losing his strength as the Evangelion walked up to him and roared loudly at him as its visor glowed bright red. Down within the planet, the sight of hundreds to thousands of people were seen looking up at the moon within the clear skies within the afternoon and could see and hear the explosions that were coming from the moon. Coco along with Korone were together as the two were looking up at the sight and were getting worried.
Korone: W-Where's Yuuya?
Coco: I don't know, I haven't seen him since yesterday.
Korone: Coco-chan, we have to find him. Now!
Coco: R-Right! *The two would spread out and search for Yuuya within the city and hideout and as the two were looking for the boy, they notified everyone they know and asked for help as hundreds to thousands of the survivors would all head over to the city streets and many hidden areas to find Yuuya as they all called out to him until Korone would bump into both Aqua and Okayu as the two were in Choco's office and their eyes were red as it seemed that the two had been crying for awhile*
Korone: O-Okayu? Aqua-chan? What's wrong? *As she asked, a girl with short brown hair and a pair of glasses would run up to Korone from behind and grab Korone's hand as the girl was none other than Roboco* Eh? Roboco-chan?!
Roboco: You guys need to come and see this! Now!
As the four girls ran out of the hideout, Korone along with Aqua and Okayu gasped at the sight of the moon having a large piece of the planet destroyed as multiple lights could be seen on the moon as well.
Korone: P-Please don't tell me that he's…. *As she turned to Roboco and Towa, the two nodded slowly as Korone covered her mouth as she would begin to tear up as she would cry on Okayu's shoulder. The cat girl would hug her friend as she cried as well as Suisei would grab the letter in Okayu's hand and read it*
Okayu: H-Hey! You can't just-
Suisei: "Thank you all for being there for me in such dark times and I'm sorry for not being there for you all when you needed me the most."? Did Yuuya-kun write this?
Aqua: Y-yes he did..
Okayu: Aqua-chan! What are you doing?!
Aqua: We have to tell them!
Okayu: That letter was supposed to be for someone else! Not us!
Aqua: We are his family! Everyone here deserves to know this! *She yelled angrily as she teared up*
Suisei: *She would put down the letter and look at Aqua* Then tell us. It's better to hear it than read the letter that is meant for someone else. *As she said, many of the VTuber members would gather around to hear what Aqua was going to say*
Aqua: "There is no greater fear than to see the lives I choose to protect, die right in front of my very eyes, to know that so many of you have suffered from the First Impact but continued to live on in such a dangerous place proves that you are all strong willed and courageous but I on the other hand...Would rather run away from my duties than face it despite knowing the outcome. To bear the burden of the lives of zillions is a task that I cannot uphold as I am no God but I would do all I can in my power to save and protect you all from harm's way, even if it means me not being able to see you all anymore." Is what he wanted that particular person to tell us.
Rushia: Who was the letter for?
Towa: Yeah, I wanna know too.
Haato: Is it one of us here?
Aqua: M-Mio-senpai..
Shion: M-Mio-senpai?!
Ayame: Why her? Are they really that close?
Okayu: More closer than you could all imagine…
Kanda: Uhh...Guys? Sorry to break the special moment but we got a problem. *The blonde male said as he pointed up at the sky as the daylight would turn completely dark and became night within an instant as everyone panicked and saw a bright red dot levitating down to the surface of the planet from space*
Choco: I-I don't like where this is going..
Mel: But could that be Yuuya-chan?
Aki: I-I don't think so, he would have teleported right here and joke with us if it were him..
Matsuri: Then what is that light?! A firefly?
Noel: Something bad is coming..
Flare: I don't like this.. *She said as little spark of flames would appear on her fingertips*
Marine: That thing looks very dangerous..
Kanata: We need to sound the alarm..
Nene: I'm on it! *She said as she raised her hand and ran to the hideout*
Lamy: W-Wait for me! *She said as she followed Nene to the hideout*
Aloe: Whatever it is, we can fight it. We're not weak as we were before.
Watame, Polka, Sora, Luna along with the many hundreds of Vtubers shouted together as they agreed with Aloe. Within the city, Subaru along with Mio and Fubuki were together as the three looked up at the moon as they were about to head over to Mio's home and noticed the moon had been partially destroyed and that it was night time in that instant.
Subaru: What just happened?
Fubuki: Eclipse?
Subaru: But we just got an Eclipse a few weeks ago.
Fubuki: SOLAR ECLIPSE!
Subaru: Same thing!
Mio: Yuu-chan…, *She had her right hand on her chest as she looked at the moon and got worried*

The power of the Spear of Cassius has the ability to absorb and negate magical abilities that removes curses and holy relics which leads Yuuya's powers weakening after getting his entire body pierced by the spear but his immortality curse is still questionable when it comes against the Spear.
