A few weeks later, Sae's school was holding the Cultural Festival which was open to the public.
"Think I found Sae's class," said Ume, who was walking with Junban down a hallway.
"They were doing a restaurant right, because if so I wonder what they serve there," said Junban as he ate some Takoyaki.
"Where do you pack all of that, you're already on your third helping," said Ume who was nauseous from just thinking about it.
"I'm not human, remember?" asked Junban as he finished eating and tossing the paper bowl away. The two then walked into a classroom.
"Welcome," said a girl at the door.
"Oh, hey guys," said Sae as she noticed them. She was wearing a pink and white maid uniform.
"Looks like I lost our bet," said Junban.
"What bet?" asked Sae who had a bad feeling about them.
"I bet him that you would look cute in that outfit, and you do," said Ume with a smile as she crossed her arms.
"Now I have to pay for her food for the day," said Junban.
"Well allow me to show you to your table," said Sae as she led them to one by the windows. Her face turning a slight pink as she did so.
"Hey man, you dating either of those chicks?" asked a guy at the next table after Sae had left them with a minute to look over.
"They're not, but that's none of your business even if they were," said Junban.
"Well then, maybe she wouldn't mind looking around the festival with me," said the man with a smile to Ume.
"Sorry, but you're the wrong gender for me, and even if I was into guys, I still wouldn't go anywhere with you except for the police station to file charges," said Ume with a disgusted expression.
"Why you!" said the guy as he went to hit her, but was stopped by Sae who had returned after hearing the commotion.
"I think it's time for you to leave," said Sae.
"Shut your mouth, bitch!" said the guy as he went to hit her. However, Sae kicked his right leg out from under him, slamming his face into the floor while pulling the arm she had caught behind his back.
"Now I really think it's time for you to go, or would you rather I break your arm?" asked Sae as she forced him to stand up. She then threw him out of the room, his buddies following him with scared expressions.
"My hero," said Ume as she kissed Sae on the cheek.
"You two take your time and order when you're ready," said Sae as she walked away with a deeply blushed expression.
"You love seeing her embarrassed, don't you?" asked Junban.
"She gets cuter the more embarrassed she gets," said Ume while smiling.
"Guess we have teasing her in common," said Junban.
