With June came the heat, and with the heat Momo and a few other students managed to convince the school to allow the class to go to the beach. They had to go as a class, stay in a hotel, and be chaperoned by Aizawa and Yamada. Much to Mineta and Denki's delight, most of the girls were in two-piece bikinis; Haru being one of them in a black set that had a sheer quartz pink wrap tied around her hips and a matching skull on one of her breast.

"Want to join us for a game?" Eijiro asked holing up a volleyball and pointing to the net behind him where Bakugo and Denki were wrestling and Bakugo screaming about something.

"No thanks, it tends to hurt my wrist." Haru politely waved away giving the violent Bakugo a nervous glance. "And I don't think I would survive a serve from Katsuki even without quirks." She added with a small chuckle. "I'm about to head out with Sato to find some sweets if you guys want to come?" She offered pointing to the tall boy in yellow shorts as he joined her conversation.

"Got to make sure he gets plenty of exercise to burn off some of that energy." Eijiro joked speaking about his friend as if he were a dog that needed to be walked.

"Good luck with that." Haru laughed, walking off with Sato talking about how she hoped they could find some sort of crape.

"And Bakugo get's a mouth full of sand!" Present Mic announced when Bakugo glared at Sato walking back with a smiling Haru, not paying attention when the ball flew into the back of his head knocking him face first into the sand. Why did they look like a couple on a date? He fumed noticing how her hair looked just like spun gold in the bright sunlight, and her skin too perfect. She was pissing him off. Jumping to his feet Bakugo instantly reverting to his screaming self, yelling about how that serve was bullshit.

"Are you okay?" Haru asked reaching out to touch the back of his head.

"I'm fine, everyone fuck off." He spat slapping her hand away.

"Whoa dude, she's just trying to help." Eijiro scolded slapping Bakugo's shoulder.

"It's okay Eijiro, I've known him for about three months now, I'm no longer phased. But thank you." She said with a smile before excusing herself to continue her conversation with Sato.

"You should consider just asking her to hang out with you. I bet she would be happy to." Eijiro pointed out.

"What do you know? Shut your mouth."

"It's fairly obvious how you feel about her, and it's clear that she trust you." Shoto added ducking under the net and joining the conversation with Denki.

"Fuck off icyhot. Everyone just mind their own damn business for once." He barked.

"You should already know that there are quite a few boys that have their eyes on her." Shoto responded flatly, the faintest smirk on his lips.

"So what? You planning on accepting?" Bakugo growled rounding on the boy as he asked.

"I would never to that to her or any other woman." Shoto answered darkly.

"Then keep your thoughts to yourself." Bakugo demanded with a growl.

"He's right though, she's very kind and very hot." Denki started. "There are a few boys that are hoping to catch her eye, I've seen her open her locker to quite a few love letters lately." Small explosions sounded from his palms as threw his head back and clenched his jaw shut.

"You haven't noticed? She's been healing for other classes too; she's become quite well known." Eijiro asked genuinely surprised that the normally sharp Bakugo hadn't seemed to notice how her name was whispered around the school among the boys.

"Haru Megami." Tokoyami added in a low tone.

"The fuck you come from?" Bakugo barked.

"It's what they've been calling her, the Spring Goddess." Tokoyami added answering the wrong question. Watching her walk away with Sato, he noticed the little sway she had in her hips as she walked, soon he began to shake with anger.

That night Haru sat on a blanket with Uraraka as they took turns pointing out different star constellations, sharing their love of the night sky. Izuku had given his jacket to Uraraka as the sun set and sat chatting with Ida, Sero, Shoto, Eijiro, Denki, Tokoyami, and even Bakugo as all the boys had gotten their own jackets earlier. Haru being used to a far colder environment didn't really find it cold but refreshing and even relaxing.

"Let's start a fire." Eijiro offered up the idea, Shoto immediately ready to light the fire until Ida complained about them using their quirks.

"I'll see what I can find." Haru offered getting up and walking along the shore looking for driftwood or some rocks that might make a spark.

"Should she really be walking around on her own?" Eijiro asked watching her disappear into the darkness.

"She can take care of herself." Bakugo snarled.

"Yeah, but remember what happened at the mall?" Bakugo locked eyes with Eijiro before he silently got up and followed after her.

"What happened at the mall?" Uraraka asked from her blanket.

"Some stranger grabbed her and tried to steal a kiss." Denki answered.

"I've seen her grabbed a few times at school too." Shoto added, followed by a few what and really questions. "She always pulls away quickly and walks off. Seems like she tries to keep anyone from noticing." He finished.

"Why does she get grabbed so often?" Izuku puzzled.

"Probably because she's exotic looking." Denki answered a bit too honestly. "Her golden hair isn't something that's seen often. It's not yellow, but it looks straight up gold." He quickly explained after getting a few looks that normally only go to Mineta.

"The boys of UA should be of a higher standard, it is a prestige school after all." Ida objected slicing his hand through the air in a chop a few times before coming to a stop and joining the rest of his classmates as they all uttered one word together in defeat. "Mineta."

Walking along the beach in the dark Haru had hoped to find something, anything she could use to get the small fire going. But there was nothing, the beach was so clean, making her wonder if they were even allowed to have a fire at all. Looking up at the moon she took a moment to close her eyes and breathe in the fresh air slowly.

"Looking for something?" Someone asked. Opening her eyes again she turned to a group of teen boys about her age smiling back at her.

"I'm okay, thank you." She smiled back turning to keep all of them in her sight.

"Don't be like that, we're just offering to help." Another one responded walking towards her, his smile sending shivers down her spine.

"I appreciate it, but really, I'm okay." She repeated stepping backwards into a hard chest behind her. Panic surged through her; how could they get behind her without her noticing?

"FUCK OFF EXTRAS" Bakugo's familiar angry screams putter her at ease as he stepped around her, standing between her and the boys in one of his famous animalistic fighting stances.

"You her boyfriend or something?" one of them asked in a mocking tone.

"Damn right. Leave now or die." Lifting his hands higher he showed off his quirk with a few blasts.

"Let's just go. They're not worth your time." Haru pleaded pulling on the back of his hoodie.

"I can take them all." He snarled back, his eyes darting between each of the boys.

"Awfully cocky of you." One boy spat, another one made a suggestion. "Bet he's all bark and no bite."

"Come over here and find out." Bakugo challenged his smile growing wider. One of the boys rushed forward, but so did Haru. Sliding under one of Bakugo's arms she pushed her back against his chest as she reached out her hands and pushed them against the attacking boys chest, making sure to wrap her tail around Bakugo's right wrist to keep him from doing his favorite fight starting move.

"So, you coming with us, sweetheart?" the boy started staring lustfully down at Haru before his face changed to confusion. "What, wait, why do I feel so tired?" he stammered out before slumping over, fast asleep.

"Hypocrite." Bakugo hissed in her hear. Turning around to face him she grabbed onto one of his shoulders to steady herself as she shifted her weight onto the balls of her feet to get in his face to scold him back.

"Yours is so flashy, they can't prove that I used mine." She corrected. He opened his mouth to argue when she was pulled backwards with a surprised squeak, one of the boys demanding to know what she did to their friend.

"Let her go!" Izuku demanded running up to them.

"Unless you think you can take us all on?" Shoto added as the rest of the group joined them. Grumbling the boy released Haru, grabbed his snoring friend, and quickly retreated. Grunting Bakugo pulled off his hoodie and threw it at Haru before walking past his friends.

"You okay?" Uraraka asked helping Haru pull her hair out of the hoodie.

"Yeah, I think I'm going to go to bed though. You guys enjoy the night." She answered faking a smile.

"It would be wise for everyone to return to our rooms." Ida announced.

"I'm sorry guys." Haru breathed out looking down at her hands and she played with the silky hair on the end of her tail.

"It's not your fault." Izuku quickly offered.

"We just got tired, and there's still so much fun to get in tomorrow before we go back to UA." Eijiro added. She knew that they said that to make her feel better, but she couldn't help feeling like she ruined their fun. Walking behind them she continued to watch her hands play with her tail, falling further behind them. Walking beside her Bakugo glared at the ground, clearing his throat every time she slowed down and keeping pace with her as she jogged to catch back up with the group.
