Chaos was an understatement. Whatever swarmed Adrien Agreste after the screen fell black made the teen want to die. Alya shaking him and the multiple questions being thrown at him were overwhelming enough but the fact his identity had been revealed was even crazier. Marinette tried to pretend to be shocked, as not to make the others suspicious but it was hard to not laugh at her boyfriend's fear-ridden face.
"Enough!" Iris bellowed, barely silencing the class.
"You might wanna listen to her," Hugo warned, this time fully silencing the class."Thank you. Now it's late so you guys will camp in here, and then tomorrow we'll resume." he said, Iris tugging on his sleeve." What?" he asked.
Iris leaned close and whispered something in his ear, making the boy go pale."Oh ya, um I'll be back in a minute while Ris hands out sleeping bags."
Handing everyone a sleeping bag(all of which were either dark blue or a light blue), everyone sprawled out in their sleeping bags in front of the screen, smushed together like sardines in a can. Light chatter was apparent as they all spoke of the events of the day and glimpses of the future.
"I still find it utterly ridiculous I wasn't shown."Chloe hissed, almost everyone as far away as possible from her.
"We don't wanna hear it, Chloe," Marinette said, lying her head on her boyfriend's chest as he wrapped his arm around her. It was strange but nice since they'd never had the chance to sleep together due to Adrien's overbearing father.
"No one asked Dupain-Cheng," Chloe snapped back, sitting upon the palms of her hands.
"We don't care," Alya assured her, yawning as she wrapped herself around her boyfriend, nearing sleep."I dunno about the rest of you but I'm beat."
Murmurs of agreeance were passed around the room as everyone began to fall asleep, some alone and most intertwined with their significant others. Iris watched from the movie theater seats, growing sleepy herself. The sound of a hidden back door jolted her awake and she turned to see Hugo."They're already asleep?"
"Mhmm," Iris hummed, her schoolmate sitting beside her."All clear?"
"Yup, no one's suspicious and we still have a few days till they all get back," Hugo said. Iris frowned looking down at everyone."Is it weird?" he asked.
"Not really. I don't remember her but of course, I've heard of my aunt... it's just a little strange seeing her." she said. Her aunt had passed when she was three and she like Liam possessed no memories of her.
"Do you think we should bring...?"
"No," she said, shaking her head, blonde hair swaying as she did so."It's already dangerous enough us just showing them, and we don't want Mel and Emma to get suspicious."
"But..." Hugo sighed, tugging at his short hair."They're in the next room over. We could easily just bring them in and-"
"Hugo." she stated sternly."Believe me, I'd love it if Lee could meet her and Mel could see her again but it's too dangerous. This is a much younger version of my aunt, she doesn't know them. She isn't their mom."
"Yet," Hugo corrected.
Iris sighed, standing up and beginning towards the hidden back door." Come on Hue, Emma said she's making mac and cheese."
"Emma can't cook," Hugo said, following her.
"Exactly, meaning Melody will end up ordering pizza," she said, both exiting the room.
Sorry for the short chapter but I wanted to show that they were sleeping.
