Naruto woke up and he wasnt in the best of moods. "How could mom decide if two people should get married?" He skiped breakfast not wanting to be near his parents right now he was walking and saw Ino and Shikamaru but he ignored the heys from Shikamaru and Ino he just walked past them not even looking at them. Ino was surprised he always walked with them into class but Ino knew something was up and decided to find out why he's acting like this.
In the academy Naruto was in his usual spot in the back by the window when Ino walked in she went straight for him. When she got close she spoke "What's going on Naruto? Your acting weird."
"Maybe you should pay attention to class and not worry about me Ino". Ino was shocked to hear him say those words that's when Shikamaru stepped in "That's uncalled for Naruto she's your friend".
"I guess you don't know what happened yesterday".
"What happened Naruto, Ino?" Shikamaru asked he hated to see his friends like this.
"Our parents are arranging a marriage between me and Ino it's up to us but what I know about marriage from my parents is marriage is about love and protecting them I have no dought I can love Ino but I'm not strong enough to protect her."
"Your still in the academy we don't expect you to be unstoppable from the get go if you want to protect her why don't you up your training with your mom's and focus on your relationship we're going to be ninja it's dangerous well could die so why not enjoy your wife to be company." Shikamaru said meaning every word and Naruto took in his words he was right.
"I see your point Shikamaru". Naruto looked at Ino and apologized for his behavior and Ino just kissed him on the cheek getting a blush from Naruto. The three sat down ready for today's lesson. Iruka came in announced today was sparring day so the class mates went outside and saw the ring. When the matches started Naruto was getting impatient since his friends went before him Ino winning against a pink haired girl named Sakura who was only interested in the last Uchiha. Sasukes family was slaughtered by his older brother Itachi a year ago. Finally Narutos match was called it was against Sasuke. The two boys went to there marks and got into there stances Sasuke didn't recognize Narutos stance but he got into his familys stance right away when Iruka waved his hand starting the match. They did not move an inch but Sasuke got impatient and charged Naruto as Sasuke was in the middle of a round house kick to Naruto he blocked it with his hand catching his foot. With Sasukes foot trapped Naruto twisted him and punch him in the gut knocking the wind out of him and finally kicking him in the face knocking him out.
After the matches Ino ran to Naruto with star struck eyes "I thought you told me you couldn't protect me seems like you are already ahead against the top rookie."
"I got lucky he lost his cool thinking I would make the first move patience is key." Naruto explained Ino was impressed with him.
After class Naruto, Ino and Shikamaru were walking to there houses but something seemed off it was quite but before Naruto could mention it a kunai was thrown in front of them. "What the hell? Who's out there?"
All of a sudden the three were surrounded by chunnin. "Step away from the demon".
Naruto was not surprised this wasn't the time someone called him a demon but he turned to his friends and told them to leave and get help. Then Naruto booked it out of the village with the chunnins on his tail What they didn't know that a certain silver haired Jonin saw the whole thing and ran after Naruto he was going to intervene but hopefully they don't realize he's around and will say something incriminating.
Naruto ran and ended up in a field and stopped. "Bout time you stop running demon make it easy for yourself and die I'll make it painless."
"Just tell me one thing". Said Naruto.
"What demon?"
"Who's trying to kill me".
"Well I guess you should know since your about to die. A man with one eye ordered your death and promised that when he's Hokage I'll be next in line." Said the leader and Naruto smiled and said "Thanks". He then turned and pointed to a tree about 50 yards away and before the leader could look a lightning hand was threw his heart killing him instantly. The other chunnin we're about to run away but was stop by the Hokage,Anko and 3 anbu
"Man Ibiki is going to so happy with my presents and Anko you get the job you've been asking for your in the interrogation building now first job find out everything they know". Ordered the Hokage.
"Good job Naruto you took control of a situation and ordered for help and lead the attackers away from the village to protect the village in case of a fight". The Hokage explained with pride in his voice Naruto just smiled.
"Now Naruto go home I bet Kurenai is worried sick explain everything including your outburst in school today."
Not the best chapter I know I'm not good at fight sceans not yet at least but I hope you enjoyed
