Now I'm going to tell you all now, the next world is NOT an Anime world (grins). I had to think "which places would greatly benefit Hikari? Which characters, that I know of, could she learn great lessons from?"

I had only one choice on this particular lesson...I just had to figure out WHEN she and her boys would arrive. It took me a bit but I realized that there could be some GOOD material if I went one way and it wouldn't spoil anything for anyone who hasn't experienced this world, which is what I am trying to do with this story. I don't like spoilers, it ruins everything for everyone.

I like surprises! So, as before, the disclaimer will be at the end of this chapter. They make things fun! It's so much fun, to me, to find those little clues and figure out for myself what's going on. So...Here goes...Can you guess where our heroes are based on the clues? This might be a bit hard for you all so I'll give you a hint...IT'S A VIDEO GAME (grins). Even better...It's the 15th one in a SERIES of video games (wide grin).

Chapter 15: Cars and Leather

This time around Hikari was thankful she wasn't unconscious when they traveled to the next world. It wasn't all grand really...Step into the light then BAM, your surroundings instantly changed. This new world seemed bright and filled with very weird life.

"Well...At least we know the doors lead us away from people." Max said, noticing the lush terrain around them and the very odd creatures grazing nearby. Was that a giraffe or a long necked horse?

"We still need to know what the populace looks like here." Shin reasoned. "It would not look good for us to venture anywhere without first knowing." Both his and Max's forms had returned to their original state after leaving the Realm of Self. "Hikari, you would most likely be the best to see this. Max and I will stay there…" Here he pointed to a crevice in a large hill. "Out of sight."

"Wait? No! She's not going alone!" Max protested.

"I'll be fine Max." She assured him. Was this what it was like having a brother perhaps? Or a father? Geez… "I'll be back in a few minutes."

Max huffed. "Fine...But if you're not back in five I'm-"

She put a hand over his mouth. "I get the picture."

They split up, Hikari venturing out while the guys took cover. This place looked vast and beautiful in itself. Was there ANY life here besides the odd wildlife?

The sight of a road nearby told her otherwise.

It definitely was a paved road, with yellow and white lines and the like. A road like that meant only one thing...vehicles. Her eyes followed it to a covered bridge on the mountainside that led to what looked like a vast city of sorts. At least there was civilization here but...What KIND of civilization?

She heard a car coming and made sure to stay off the road as it passed by. The car sure was impressive, a sleek black cadillac with room for the four men that were in it. They didn't quite notice her standing on the side of the road, too focused on heading towards the city on the mountain top.

Hikari returned to Shin and Max to give them the news. Looks like this was another human realm...That apparently liked wearing all black. Taking no chances, Shin quickly transformed himself and Max into their human forms and gave all black clothing.

"I'm liking this place already." Max enjoyed the black that made him look like a dashing heartthrob. The leather jacket bore the crest of his homeland, the realm of light on the breast pocket.

"I am not fond of the color but if locals are wearing such then so too should we." Shin was sporting a much more elegant piece, a collared white shirt and black pants with a black jacket draped over his arm. He looked more like a businessman off to work than an all powerful kai.

Hikari, however, was given the least amount. Black shorts, a white tank, and a black trench going down towards black boots. Her hair had been put up into a high pony-tail and her hands were covered in leather gloves. She looked like a woman with a mission...but that was the problem, at least for Max...She looked like a WOMAN.

Max took one look at Hikari's outfit and admonished Shin. "Really!? She's a teenager! She doesn't need to be looking like THAT!"

Shin just shrugged. "Bulma wears such things all the time…"

Hikari rolled her eyes. "It's fine Max-" She started before he dashed over and began to immediately button up her trench. "What the heck!?"

"You're NOT walking around like that." And he was determined to his words. She lightly pushed him away, glaring at him.

"Last time I checked you weren't my father." She unbuttoned her trench. It was too dang hot here to keep it closed anyway. "Let's just go to that city I saw."

Dressed they headed towards the small city built around the mountain. It was pretty cool with it's huge buildings overlooking a vast land.

"Whoa...This place is amazing!" They went towards a lookout to see the vastness of this realm. It was HUGE! One could marvel at the terrain here all day and well into the night. There was so much to explore it was mind boggling! Didn't Shin say he was responsible for planets in his realm? Did he gaze at them somehow like this? Was this how it felt for Shin? To stare at a vast place all the time?

"Well...Hopefully this place will be peaceful…" Hikari hoped with all her heart this was so. Having a bit of downtime was good, especially after all the stuff that happened in the previous realm.

"Maybe we should go into the city and discover more of this place before venturing any further." Shin suggested. It was a good idea and thus it was decided to do such. Up the steps they went into a small parking lot and as they headed towards the second ray of steps which led to the city, Hikari stopped.

There, in a parking spot...Was the black cadillac. Had it been there all this time?

"Nice car…" Max whistled, his gaze also towards the sleek vehicle. "Wonder whose it is…"

Hikari was drawn to it...that car...She looked it over. It was just a regular car, one a rich person might have or something. The license plate was rather odd though…

Insomnia RHS-113...The Royal Capital? What's that mean?

"Come on you two!" Shin called from afar. "We should not dawdle!"

"Right!" Max took Hikari's hand. "Come on, Hikari!"

Nodding she allowed him to drag her up the steps, the car gone from her mind.
