I made up this story based on the movie,
THEY LIVE
They Live is a 1988 American science-fiction, horror film written and directed by John Carpenter, based on the 1963 short story "Eight O'Clock in the Morning" by Ray Nelson, Starring Roddy Piper, Keith David, and Meg Foster. The film follows an unnamed drifter who discovers through special sunglasses that the ruling class are aliens concealing their appearance and manipulating people to consume, breed, and conform to the status quo via subliminal messages in mass media.
What if Naruto was in Roddy's position? But in a different standout. The timeline is in the Shippuden Arc. Naruto wakes up in the Hot Water Village, with no memory of how or why is he in the Hot Water Village? He notices that he has a note that was in his traveling backpack, where it tells him that he needs to be in the Cloud Village. The note informs that the people and the ninja living in the Village are acting strange. The economy is rising, mission ranks have more money, and people are wearing golden watches? Something is not right. He goes to the Cloud Village, not wearing his attire, and not wearing his headband. Naruto goes there to find some shades that reveal what is going on, which escalates to him and his fellow tail beast siblings to fend for themselves, and save the village from an unknown threat that can rule the world of Shinobi.
So with that, let's begin the story.

Previously, on Naruto: THEY LIVE
The news of Naruto's death greatly affected Konoha, making each nation except the Cloud Village pray that the Leaf Village would try to make it though the difficult times. The big TV that is in the middle of the Leaf Village Streets, show the image of Naruto Uzumaki dead.
Chapter Seven: Naruto is Not DEAD!
In the Hyuga Compound, there laying in their bedroom is a weeping mess of Hinata Hyuga. It has been days since the news of Naruto's death, and it has took a hold on the Leaf Village. Those who admired and respected Naruto were left in a state of depression. Hinata took the supposed death way worse then before, isolating herself from her friends, her Sensei, and her family too. She rarely gets out of her room, whether it be to complete a mission, or get food for herself. Now she is looking at a picture with Naruto. Her Naruto. Her ball of sunshine, her inspiration, her hope. Unfortunately, she had lost all the will power to live, and was this close to hurting herself. Sakura enters the Hyuga Compound, with permission of Hiashi, to check on her friend. Both of them have a C-Rank mission to protect a client to go to the Hot Water Village. Funny, she thought. It was the same mission that Naruto had, which ended his life. Sakura goes to the front of Hinata's room to check if she able to move on.
Sakura: Hinata, please get up. We have a mission that Lady Tsunade instructed us. We have to go to the Hot Water Village.
When she said the name of the Village, she lost it. Breaking her door and looking at her with so much hate.
Hinata*pissed with tears in her eyes*: FUCK THAT! I WILL NOT GO TO THAT PLACE!
Sakura: Please Hinata, this would only take a few hours to get there and leave. Hinata I know that things are not looking bright, but do not let the anger con-
She didn't get to finish her sentence when Hinata slapped her! Sakura was stunned at her actions but did not want to make things worse.
Hinata*rage*: I. DO. NOT. FUCKING! CARE! PLEASE, LEAVE ME ALONE SAKURA! I CANNOT TAKE THE LEVEL OF LONELINESS I AM FEELING!
Both women were starring at each other, the one who is a broken mess, while the other is trying her best to be brave but her tears were beginning to form.
Hinata: I loved Naruto Sakura. We both confessed our love to each other. I was so happy to be with him. The times that we had were the best days of our lives. But I cannot live to realize that the man that I love is dead-
Now it was Sakura's turn to slap Hinata. She was surprised at Sakura, but had her teary eyes wider when Sakura was crying as well.
Sakura*tears coming out*: Don't you fucking dare and act that you loved Naruto! WE ALL LOVED HIM! WE ARE GRIVEING HINATA! LADY TSUNADE LOVED NARTUO LIKE A SON! DON'T YOU DARE THINK THAT EVERYONE IS NOT SUFFERING!
Sakura kept on looking at Hinata with much fire in her eyes, and continued.
Sakura: Hinata, I know that his death fucked us up, but we can't keep hurting ourselves! Naruto would not want us to cry, moan, and hurt ourselves. Now Hinata, will you come to this mission? If not, I'll go pick someone else.
Hinata realized that crying and locking herself would not help her get rid of the pain that is in her heart. She understands that the people that respected Naruto, feel to the pain that is inside her heart. So, she agreed. Sakura was happy to knock some sense of Hinata, and was glad that she would always try to talk to others. She made sure that she apologized to her friends, her father, Jiraiya, and Lady Tsunade too. They said that they were happy to see Hinata out of her, and try to move on to ensure a better tomorrow. Both of the kunoichi are now walking to the Hot Water Village, with the client thanking them for her protection. As they were aboout to leave, a random villager runs to the two girls like he just saw something.
HWV(23): Wait! Are you guys seriously believing that Naruto is dead? You got that wrong!
Both of the kunoichi were stunned, but they were not sure if he was telling the truth.
Hinata: How can you be sure?
Sakura: Yeah? We found his clothes that-
HWV(23): Were lying in the ground. Yeah, I was the one that took them to clean. I did not know how it got dirty, but my guess is that he hid them.
Both of the girls were speechless, but they needed to hear more.
Sakura: Tell us what happened to Naruto!
Hinata: Please tell us! How can you be sure that Naruto is alive!
The Hot Water Villager told them that they were under attack by an unknown group that was run by aliens. They believed that they came here to steal what they have in each village. They said that Naruto defended the Village but was sucker punched by another alien. Taking the identity of the Raikage. Both women were shocked to hear what has happen. Aliens are running to the Cloud Village? Naruto still being alive? But taking everything that could end the world of Shinobi? They now have information that they need to warn each nation about the problem that is lying on the Cloud Village. But then they realized something.
Hinata: Wait! Where is Naruto now?
HWV: I am not sure. I saw him leave to the other direction of the village. My guess was because of the note that he read, and leaving a picture with him and a girl.
He hands Hinata the picture, turns the back and reads.
If anyone finds this picture with me and my Byakugan Princess, it is that I am needed by friends who think that their village is in danger. I am not sure what the problem is, but I will not let those in need down. If you come across with anybody who knows me, do not tell them where I will go. Hinata, if you find this, then I am sorry for not telling you, my parents, and my friends of where I am at.
Naruto Uzumaki.
Hinata was blushing like mad. But she was mixed with emotions, being happy and joyful that he is alive. But she felt livid. She was angry at Naruto, for making everyone including her to believe that he is dead. Oh how she will enjoy punishing him. Sakura read the note that Hinata read, and she too was mixed with emotions. Both of the women would gladly show Naruto that they will not show any mercy to Naruto. He made them upset, he made them worried, and now he will answer for his reasons. But first, they thanked the Villager and ran back to the Leaf Village to tell Tsunade the information that they got. When Sakura and Hinata told the rest of Team 11, they were happy to hear that Naruto is alive. They were also shocked to hear about an alien invasion that is taking control over the Cloud Village. Tsunade was crying in joy to hear that her son is alive. But she too felt angry.
Tsunade*tears in her eyes while getting angry*: HOW DARE HE!? HOW DARE HE MADE HIS OWN MOTHER WORRIED SICK FOR HIM!?
Jirayia: Look Tsunade, I know that you're upset-
Tsunade: NO JIRAIYA! OUR BABY BOY HAS LEFT US TO STOP A THREAT THAT HE CANNOT STOP BY HIMSELF!?
Hinata: I understand that you are upset Lady Tsunade, so am I. But I believe that Naruto would not want any of us to be involved. I know it sounds crazy but it seems that he has found people like Naruto. He would not want us to get hurt in any way.
They were surprised to hear that Naruto has found two people who were holders of their respected tail beast. As they were about to continue on about Naruto, suddenly, the Big TV that is the middle of the Konoha Streets aired a live broadcast to show the news.
The truth has been revealed. Naruto is alive. But wait? A big TV showing them what is happening in the Cloud Village? Find out in the this fanficiton

Preview of Chapter Eight: NARUTO'S ALIVE!?: The big TV that was in Konoha showed what has happening in the Cloud Village. A unknown person named 'NADA' has attacked the ANBU Ninja, and shot a bank. Shizune looked really closely at 'NADA' and realized that it was Naruto disguise. She remembered that Naruto and Kurenai were practicing making Genjustus to fool others.
