Freddie had just gotten off work at the mall Wendy's. "What's up, F?" Jude asked. "Just got through the first day." Freddie fist-bumped him. "How was it?" Wyatt asked. "It kinda sucked, but it'll be worth it when I get my first paycheck." Freddie said. This was the first time in his life he'd felt happy. He had six friends who cared about him, a job, and possibly a girlfriend soon since he got a girl's phone number. Who knew all he had to do was run away from his old life? His old life definitely wasn't doing him any favors, but his new life sure was.

Meanwhile, Carly, Sam, Mrs. Benson and Spencer came into the mall. They decided to split up. Carly went with Sam, and Mrs. Benson went with Spencer. Carly and Sam made it over there faster. Jonesy saw them walking over to the lemon. He recognized them from the webshow. "Beat it!" he told them angrily. But they ignored him. "Freddie!" Carly said. Freddie turned his head and saw them. "Carly? Sam?" he asked, shocked. "What are you two even doing here?" Jen asked angrily. "Freddie told us all about you guys." Caitlyn added, equally as angry sounding. "Yeah, and how did you two even find me in the first place?" Freddie raised an eyebrow. "Your psycho mom chipped you." Sam said. "Unbelievable. Look, I told you guys I didn't want to be found. I want you to respect that and go back without me." Freddie told them. "Look, Freddie, I'm so sorry I said those hurtful things about you. I shouldn't have. I didn't even mean any of it, I was being stupid. I'm also really sorry I've been such a lousy friend in general. I manipulated you into doing things I wanted you to do and never considered what you wanted, and I took things out on you that weren't your fault. You're my friend, and I miss you. I want you to come back to Seattle." Carly said. Freddie thought for a minute. He could tell she was sincere. "I accept your apology. But I'm not coming home or to iCarly." he said. "But, why?" Carly asked. "Well, for one, I'm happy here. I have a job and a motel room. Not only that, Jen, Jude, Jonesy, Nikki, Wyatt and Caitlyn are the best friends I've ever had. All six of them have been nothing but nice to me. Jonesy even helped me get a girl's phone number since you made it pretty clear you weren't interested." Freddie said. "So, you do still have a crush on me?" Carly asked. "No. Well, yes. But I don't care about that anymore. The point is, for the first time in my life I'm happy. You were nice to me most of the time unless you wanted something from me. Or unless you had a bad day. Or unless I wasn't within earshot and Sam was already making fun of me." Freddie said. That last part stung a bit but Carly knew she deserved it. He then turned to Sam. "And you, were never nice to me! Every single day you would insult me, beat me up or do whatever you could to make my life miserable!" he said. He then turned to Carly. "To say nothing of my psychotic mother." he said. As soon as he said mother, Mrs. Benson and Spencer came up to them. "Freddie!" she said in shock. "Well it's true! I thought after the first time I ran away you'd learn to stop treating me like a child. You even promised me you would!" he told her. "And I did!" she protested. "Yeah, for, like, three days and then you went right back to treating me like a child as if nothing happened. I'm fifteen, not five! And I can't believe you chipped me! What is wrong with you!?" he told her. He then turned back to Carly. "Anyway, my point still stands. My life is better here than it was there. And I shouldn't have had to run away for you all to see that you shouldn't have treated me that way. I shouldn't have to ask to be treated like a human being. How do I know things will be any different if I go back to Seattle?" he asked. Carly opened her mouth to talk but Sam jumped it. "Listen, Frednub!" she said rudely. "Sam!" Carly pleaded. "I didn't wake up at three in the morning to ride on a train for eight hours for you to not come back to Seattle! Now get your butt..." Sam began to say before Nikki cut her off. "SHUT! UP!" Nikki yelled. Sam turned towards her and walked up to her. "What did you just say to me?" she demanded. "You heard me, bitch! Leave Freddie alone and stop bullying him! The whole reason he left was because of you! You think it's okay to bully people, huh? Well it's not! You're not cool for being a bully, you're a scumbag!" Nikki told her off. Carly and Freddie both gasped. Sam did not take kindly to being called a scumbag. "Listen here, you over-pierced cow, you can call me a bitch all you want, but when you call me a scumbag, them's fighting words right there and mama's ready to go." Sam said, getting in Nikki's face. Nikki tackled Sam and proceeded to beat the crap out of her. She layed punches into Sam's face and slammed her head into the mall floor and table a few times. Sam ended up with a black eye, bloody nose and cut lip. She was shocked. This was the first time in her life she ever lost a fight. She knew now not to mess with Nikki. "Now if you ever bully, insult or even lay a finger on Freddie again, or if you ever call yourself mama again, so help me, I will go to Seattle and put my foot through your ass! Is that understood?" Nikki asked. "Yes, ma'am!" Sam said nervously. She was scared of Nikki now. "Good." Nikki told her. "That was awesome!" Jonesy declared, proceeding to laugh. "Anyway, Carly, even if things change, I'm sorry. I don't know if I can come back to Seattle. I already have so much going for me here, and I don't want to give it all up. I need to think about this." he said. "Actually, Freddie, why don't you go think? We'll talk to Carly, Sam and Mrs. Benson and set some ground rules with them in case you decide to go back to Seattle. When you've thought it over, you can come back and tell us what you want to do." Wyatt offered. "Okay. Thanks, guys." Freddie walked away.
