Ferrel and his men are on the moon with spacesuits on. At the corridor, they see an artificial statue.

"The probe picked up an ESC." said Miss May.

"Are we in danger?" asked Ferrel.

"No." replied Miss May.

"Look at the writing." said Jack.

"I'm trying to reset the ball that was on the statue." said Ferrel.

Ferrel resets the ball.

"Is this a booby trap?" asked Miss May.

"No." said Alex.

"Well, let's return home." said Ferrel.

Alex takes out the ball and return it safely. At the embarkation room, Ferrel and his men return home.

"We have the package." said Ferrel. "Careful, it's heavy."

"Debriefing in one hour, welcome home." said Captain Ham.

At the surgery room, Miss May and Jack examine a ball that was taken out from a statue. Later, at the briefing room, they discuss the map that they found from the ball.

"I recommend not shipping the ball to the billboard." said Shoutmon.

"The schedule to go to Akihabara is in several hours." said Captain Ham.

Back at the lab, Jack and Miss May are looking up the map.

"Good morning, kids." said Shoutmon. "The departure is in 1200 hours. Don't forget to rest up and roll out."

They hear the beeping.

"What was that?" said Ferrel.

"The ball is booting up." said Jack.

"I suggest that we return the ball to the moon." said Miss May.

The ball retracts into an armadillo. At the control room, Jack orders Captain Ham to start up the billboard. The ball turns into a bomb. At the embarkation room, The ball stabs Ferrel in the chest, but not through the heart. The billboard deactivates. Shoutmon engages in a fight.

"Be careful, this is gonna hurt." said Shoutmon.

"Ready when you are." said Captain Ham before going back to the control room.

Shoutmon shoots the ball only to increase the heat for it, absorbing the energy.

"Every time I shoot it, the ball increases energy to kill Ferrel." said Shoutmon.

"No change." said Miss May. "Please stop!"

"Maybe I can use an AK-47 on the ball." said Alex.

"I'm a Digimon." said Shoutmon. "They do not carry firearms."

Later at the office, Captain Ham talks to the president, later to Jack and Miss May.

"I want the ball out of Ferrel so that I can put an end of this nonsense." said Jack.

"Dismissed." said Captain Ham.

Captain Ham talks to the president. At the embarkation room, Ferrel is still stabbed in the shoulder. At the briefing room, Jack, Miss May and Alex are doing a warm up.

"We will work together on removing a ball that retracted into a pipe." said Miss May.

"How's Ferrel?" asked Shoutmon.

"He's having an infection right after he is impaled in the shoulder." said the doctor.

"Should I be with Alex and try to chop off the pipe with an axe?" asked Shoutmon.

"No." replied the doctor.

The technician orders the lights to be turned off and sends ultraviolet lights to the embarkation room. They discover that Ferrel is developing rare cancer cells, so does the technician. Later, at the briefing room, the doctor uses syringes on Captain Ham to prevent any cancer cells.

"The technician is having cancer cells after touching a ball." said the doctor. "And see you at the infirmary."

"Miss May, I would like you to do your duty, while we get rid of the cancer cell that is inside the ball." said Captain Ham.

"There's no guarantee." said Miss May. "No guarantee of going to Akihabara with the ball hanging around here."

At the embarkation room, the worker continues to remove the pipe.

"It's hot." said Ferrel.

"Don't worry, we will find a cure." said Shoutmon.

"Sir, it's moving." said the worker.

Ferrel cries in pain as the pipe retracts further. At the lab, Miss May and Jack are discussing about the map. At the infirmary, the technician is battling cancer.

"If you see Miss May…" said the technician incompletely.

At the lab, Miss May is talking to a fellow soldier. The screen flickers. It was caused by the ball. Miss May summons Palmon and uses the elevator. As they use the elevator, it stops working during the lift.

"I'm stuck in here." Miss May. "Get it open."

"It's leaking!" said Palmon.

At the embarkation room, Alex uses a flamethrower to stop the spread. Miss May tells Captain Ham to stop Alex from using a flamethrower.

"Listen, tell Alex to stop." said Miss May.

"Alex, you can stop now. We are going to try to do a different approach." said Captain Ham.

"Captain Ham, you should see this." said the other technician.

The auto destruct is set to on. As they deactivate the destruct mode, the screen flickers.

"It won't recognize the codes." said Miss May. "It is set to three hours."

"We need both officers to override." said Captain Ham. "In three hours, the destruct goes off."

"I know how to do it." said Palmon.

Palmon reboots the computer. At the embarkation room, Alex and Shoutmon continue to comfort Ferrel. Later at the infirmary, Miss May, Sam and Pete are given shots. Miss May sees the technician recovering from an unexpected cancer. At the lab, Jack sees the screen flicker back and forth. The screen transitions into a symbol. At the control room, Jack tells Captain Ham and Miss May about the flickering screen.

"The screen is gibberish, and the symbol is there." said Jack. "Maybe the alien is communicating with us."

At the embarkation room, Ferrel is bleeding as a result of the prolonged impalement.

"Ferrel will die if we don't cut off the pipe." said Jack.

"Oxygen level is at 30% now." said the technician.

"Let's do it." said Alex.

Shoutmon shoots at the ball with his staff until the energy increases.

"No pulse." said Miss May.

"Good morning, campers." said Ferrel. "We are soldiers."

"My name is Ham." said Captain Ham. "I mean you no harm."

"Auto destruct in four minutes." said the computer.

"We are almost out of time." said Miss May.

"Okay." said Captain Ham.

"We can't open the billboard without the computers." said Shoutmon.

Ferrel then dies.

"Everything is shut down." said the technician.

"The computer is rebooting." said Captain Ham. "Now's our chance."

"The destruct will self destruct in 90 seconds." said the computer.

Ferrel is revived as a human being and touches the ball. The billboard is activated. Ferrel places the ball on the billboard and dies. Captain Ham deactivates the self destruct sequence. Ferrel recovers from the impalement and revives.

"Nice work." said Jack.

"Sam, Pete, Ferrel's alive." said Miss May.
