Eve was flying just above a large water stream. She was holding Ryan in her arms and Nina in her bag. Nina was staring in the clear water. Following a group of swimming magikarp. Ryan pointed in the distance. "I think we might be there soon." Eve looked to where Ryan was pointing. "How do you know that we're going the right way?" Eve stopped for a moment and landed on the shore next to the river. Ryan jumped out of Eve's arms. "See how the river bends. Natural rivers don't bend like that. Trust me, we are getting closer."
After a while Eve could see a small cave. When Eve stared at the cave she felt a little strange.
"Hé Ryan... what kind of cave is that?" Ryan looked at the cave in thought. "I'm not sure..."
Eve kept staring at the cave for a while. (I know that cave... where did I see it before... It's probably just my imagination.)
As Cerulean City was visually on the horizon Eve decided to move more towards the trees in order to avoid being seen. Cerulean City was a sight to behold. The city had a unique kind of elegance to it. There was a water theme everywhere. Most of the houses had blue roofs and in the middle of the city there was a large fountain. Eve looked at Ryan and Nina nervously. "Are you guys ready for this?" Ryan looked up at Eve. "Are you?" Eve gulped. "Nope." in a small flash of light Eve shifted into her human form. Ryan jumped on Eve's shoulder and Nina climbed into Eve's backpack. With some hesitation they walked into town.
Several people stopped and stared at Eve. Unsure what to do Eve stared back. She was feeling very nervous. The people looked at Eve with admiration, jealousy and curiosity. Most were amazed by Ryan's green eyes or Nina's rarity. Some looked more at Eve's unusual hair color. Eve could feel her confidence drop by the second. (Calm down Eve... You look human... You look human.) A woman slowly reached for her camera hoping to take a picture. Eve quickly snapped back to reality and tried to cover her face. (I didn't think this hair color would make that big of a difference. I mean... There are many characters in the Pokémon universe that have unnatural hair colors. Some even have green hair for gods sake. Just act normal and they will leave you alone.)
There were many shops where you can buy stuff or food. Eve was startled when a salesman jumped in front of her and started preaching about how amazing his magikarp is.
"Hello there, little lady. Have I got a deal just for you! I'll let you have a secret Pokémon. This amazing Magikarp for just 500 PokéDollar. So, you'll buy it, right?" Eve gave the shady man a judging glare before kindly rejecting him. The man looked at Eve in a weird way when she left.
Eve stopped at a small shop that was selling grilled farfetch. She was horrified at the thought that Pokémon were actually being eaten. But she could not deny that the sent of meat made her mouth water. Her stomach was rumbling when a costumer walked out of the store with a large piece of grilled meat. (It's that I don't have any money with me. Otherwise I would have bought some of that. Now that I'm thinking about it... I have been eating nothing but berries ever since I woke up in this world. That can't be a healthy diet...)
Eve's thoughts were interrupted as she almost bumped into a man. She quickly stumbled back and apologized. "I'm sorry…." The man's eyes widened in shock. "Um…. Yes… no problem…" Eve stared at the man for a while. (I know my hair looks weird but his reaction is just rude!) As she walked away the man kept staring at her with a confused look in his eyes. He walked over to one of the other humans and started whispering to them while pointing towards Eve.
Ryan looked at Eve concerned. "Hé kid, it might not be such a good idea to use telepathy in front if humans. They can be… you know…" Eve's suddenly stopped walking and looked at Ryan in shock. "What did you just say?" Ryan raised his eyebrow. "I said you shouldn't use telepathy around humans. Is that not common knowledge around psychic types?" Eve's mouth dropped in disbelieve. Nina leaned over Eve's shoulder. "It is… Humans tend to be more… Interested in Pokémon if they can use telepathy. That's why we try to avoid using it there presence." Eve couldn't believe what she just heard. She had no idea that she was using telepathy. Eve always thought that she was talking normally. (How could I not have realized this?... But than again…. It does explain a lot.) Eve closed her eyes and thought for a second. "How about I lip sync my mouth while I'm talking? That way nobody will know that I'm using telepathy." Nina nodded. "That's a pretty clever idea." Eve wondered what her actual voice would sound like. As she opened her mouth in an attempted to speak a high pitched "Mew" was heard and some people paused and looked at her. Eve's face turned red as she realized what she just did. In an almost blind panic she started running down the street hoping to get out of sight. Eve stopped just behind the wall of an alleyway to catch her breath.
After catching her breath Eve took a piece of paper out of her bag. The piece of paper contained a message for Rose in case she visits Cerulean City. "I should pin this on the message board close to the Pokémon Center." Eve realized that she was getting tired. Her 10 minutes in her human form were almost up. Eve was about to walk out of the alleyway when suddenly someone grabbed her hand. "Hello there pretty lady." A shiver rolled down Eve's spine as she turned around and her eyes widened when she saw the stranger that grabbed her arm. A large man with blond hair and brown eyes was staring at her with a evil grin on his face. "I sure am lucky today. It's not every day you see something as rare as a kirlia and a pikachu with green eyes. Not to mention such a pretty young lady with purple hair." Eve could feel her stomach turn. Ryan's ears dropped as he sparked in anger at the man and Nina nervously hid herself further in the bag.
Eve felt herself getting angry and without thinking started hissing at the man. "Let go of my hand!" The man looked at Eve in surprise. "Well, well who would have thought. This little missy can use telepathy. This must be my lucky day." The man's eyes turned really scary and cold. "There are a lot of people who are willing to pay for a child with such an ability." Eve felt a moment of absolute dread when she heard this. (What the F*CK! Is this guy serious?) The man's grip on Eve arm tightened to the point that it hurts. (O no you don't) Eve was just about to use psychic to throw the man away when a voice suddenly shouted. "STAP AWAY FROM THE GIRL!"
Both Eve, Ryan, Nina and the man turned towards the voice. There just outside of the alleyway stood a female police officer. The officer glared at the man who stepped back before running away. "Growlithe! Don't let him get away!" A dog like Pokémon with fluffy orange fur and black stripes ran after the man. Eve was grateful that the officer stopped the man but she was nearly at her transformation limit and she did not want to turn back to her true form in front of an officer. "Are you okay miss?" The female officer looked at Eve with concerning eyes. Eve just simply nodded yes. The officer took a good look at Eve. "Are you sure. You don't look to good." Eve did not feel very good because she was already in her human form for 9 minutes. She was pushing to her limit in order not to shift back. Eve gave the kind officer a weak smile and tried to tell her that she was fine. As Eve remembered to lip sync while using telepathy she said as polite as possible. "Thank you for your concern but I'm perfectly fine."
Eve walked away from the confused officer. When she was out of sigh Eve started running towards the message board in hope that she could still pin the message. Ryan screamed at Eve that she should get out of the city but Eve didn't listen. (I can still make it.) Eve reached the message board and pinned her note on. The board was full of note's, posters and news articles. With a sigh she turned around to leave when suddenly her whole body began to glow. (O NO!! NO, NO, NO NOT NOW!!) In the middle of the city Eve shifted back into her true form. People stopped walking and all looked at Eve in her full Mewtwo glory. (HOLY SH*T THIS IS BAD!) There was a small moment of silence when nearly everybody started chattering and grabbing there pokédex. She could hear from every side { Pokémon unknown }. A large flash made Eve turn around as she saw that her picture was being taken. Eve panicked as several trainers started coming closer with poke balls in their hands. In a heightened state of panic Eve used psychic to crush the camera used to take her picture. She flew up as high as she could and shot away like a small missile.
Ryan and Nina were holding on for dear life as Eve flew trough the sky. Scared and exhausted Eve landed slowly on the ground. They were back in the forest again. Eve practically collapsed after that whole ordeal. She let herself fall on the ground. She felt as if all her energy was drained. (How long was that... 13 minutes? God I feel awful! I really pushed myself to far.) Ryan and Nina were standing beside her. "Are you okay kid? You don't look to good." Nina was just as concerned about Eve as Ryan. Eve had to do her best to keep herself from loosing it. (They…. They all saw me….. I'm doomed.) Eve pretended to smile. "That did not go to well" Ryan and Nina looked worried at Eve. "Don't worry. I just went a bit too far. I just need some rest, that's all." Eve forced herself off the ground. "Come on... we should get moving."
[In a forest near Pewter City]
Mister Blight was pacing around while Richard and Damian were searching for clues. Mary was on her tablet looking at camera recordings from all around the Kanto region. Victoria was questioning the two lower team Rocket grunts who took the picture of mewthree.
Mary suddenly yelled. "It has been sighted in Cerulean City!" Blight ran over to Mary who gave him the tablet and pointed to an article that was posted about an hour ago. 'New Pokémon discovered in Cerulean City. Witnesses describe it as a large lavender colored humanoid Pokémon with a cat like appearance……' Blight smiled evilly. "Jackpot!"
It was not very smart of Eve to run into town with only a 10 minute window. Now she has been seen by a lot of people. And to make things worse the team Rocket group now know where Eve is.
I realized that Eve and the others have been eating nothing but berries. Like I said before I see mew/mewtwo as a cat like Pokémon. Cat's are carnivores and therefore eat meat. I'm planning on making Eve more omnivore than carnivore so that she can eat things like berries or vegetables too.
And yeh... People eat Pokémon. It was more or less mentioned in both the game and the anime. For example farfetch is considered to be a delicacy.
And Eve finely found out that she had been talking in telepathy all this time. She sure took her sweet time figuring that out.
