Butch hovers over the ground, where it is injured brother, standing between him and the monster in witch he stares at. The thought that he couldn't finish Brick again drove the monster crazy, and it attacked recklessly towards Butch.
Butch quickly widened his shield to the size of the crater, pushing the monster out. It fell on its back, uttering a startling angry roar.
"You dead?" asked Butch sarcastically his badly injured brother, while staying safely under the newly built dome. The real meaning question of the question was "How bad you are hurt?" "You won't get away from me that easy" our hero noted while smiling under his face, lying down on the ground covered in blood. Butch sighed appeased.
"We are doing it!" said Brick out of nowhere. "You still want to? But you are so badly… " said Butch worried while looking at his brother how slowly recovering lost limb, but Brick interrupted him rudely "We do it and that's final. Just buy me some time OK".
Butch was not very pleased with his brother's attitude, but Brick was such a stubborn, so our green hero saw no point in arguing with him anymore. He nodded to him, knowing what he had to do. Butch didn't know if his red eyed leader doesn't trust him he can win on his own, or want to not face that atrocity alone. Either way the green boy was disappointed from him, but it couldn't admit it. Didn't Brick remember about their talk early?
The monster quickly got to his feet, jumped into the air, attacking the dome, trying to break it with force.
Seeing this, Butch immediately took off his shield and flew straight at him, fly directly into the monster slamming his fist into its snout WHILE IT WAS IN THE AIR. The monster flew a few meters back, falling again on its back. He was determent to win before Brick recover.
The monster rise firing several spikes at Butch, but he quickly avoided them while flying towards the monster with full speed trying to strike it down again. But this time the monster jump backwards avoiding the punch. Butch hit the ground with pure force, driving his hand into it up to his elbow. But before realizing what is going on, the monster grab Butch with his sticky tongue, lifting him high and immediately afterwards drove it into the ground. Then again. And Again. It was pay back for early.
The monster try to swallow him, but Butch start flying at maximum towards the other direction, trying to escape obviously, making the monster crawl after him like a dog on a leash. The monster resisted so hard, but it was pointless, that in the end his entire tongue cut of.
The monster scream in endless pain, but in his eyes there was a murderously furious look.
Butch relies himself from the tongue and look at the monster, which started was slowly rising in the air waving with his wings. It fast descended directly in direction of Butch. Butch easy avoid him, but the beast continue towards the crater. He was going for Brick.
"Fatal mistake! It wasn't good idea to turn your back to Butch Jojo". The boy had plan. If it turned to attack him, he would retreat, and if he used his tail, the boy would use his defensive force. This time the win was his. Or he thought so?
While flying towards the monster trying to hit it in the place on its back where there were no spikes, suddenly from exactly where he had aimed, something like a wound opened up, but there was no blood. From there something like a mutated leech shot out and hung right on Butch's shoulder.
Butch could not defend himself in time because everything had happened so quickly. The thing covered his entire right shoulder and it was stuck. You could feel his teeth or tentacles moving or something sinking deeper into his shoulder. It was such a pain. The boy could try to get rid of him, but it had little time to act, so he continued immediately after the monster. Butch had to save his brother.
Suddenly the monster rose above the clouds. But why? There was nothing there. But Butch still followed him, not letting him out of his sight of it, thinking he was preparing some sort long-range attack.
But not. As it soared high in the sky, the monster simply curled into a ball, its spikes protruding, and descended like a meteorite. Butch thought to move, but beneath him was the crater in which Brick lay. What to do?
He wouldn't be able to get Brick out of there in time. It was coming down fast. But then what? His instincts told him to hit punch it. And he do exactly that. Butch start flying straight at the monster ready to hit it with his whole.
But just before it hit him, the monster spread and opened its wings and rose into the air again. It shot him with a few spikes and then and took him with terrible force in its pawn.
It looked ominous at him as he held it, preparing to crush him.
But before crushing it to dust, Butch activates his shield, freeing himself from its grips.
Butch flew to hit the monster, but suddenly his hand exhausted. As he wondered what was happening, the monster struck him hard. Before crushing on the ground He managed to keep some balance and land, but it wasn't one of his best.
Now he was on his knees, looking at his hand. Butch wondered what had happened up there. Suddenly he realized that thing was still on his shoulder. Some kind of parasite. That must have been it. It drank his blood and drained his energy. Also, if you try to hurt its master, you lose a lot of energy. He squeezed it, trying to pull it out, but didn't work. Laser eyes – no. While this leech was on his shoulder, he could not fight. But it was obviously made so that it could not be removed by his power.
But what if the power wasn't his? Butch pulled out one of the three spikes stuck in the left side of his stomach and drove it directly into the parasite. If the thorn was strong enough to pierce his skin, it would pierce that thing, too. And he was right. The thing died a second later, Butch pulled it from his shoulder and threw it away.
But he didn't have to hurry to celebrate because the monster had just landed behind him, especially now with his almost exhausted strength. Butch froze in place. His face showed serious anger mixed with panic and fear. "Is that it? My end? Shouldn't I be the strongest? (Brick is the smartest, Boomer is the fastest). I failed."That was his thouths while the monster aproched behind, but suddenly „No. I'm not. And I'm NOT going to let some shit toss me back and forth. No matter how big. I am the shield that protects my brothers from harm. I will not surrender to anyone EVER AGAIN."
The monster opened its mouth, preparing to swallow it as Butch turned and fired lasers from his eyes right into its throat.
The monster instinctively raised its head in the air in pain, but Butch appeared above him and slammed him in the snout, driving him straight into the ground. Then the boy continue punches him mercilessly in the head as he shouted a battle cry.
After venting his anger on it, boy began to move away walking towards his brother position. Butch was exhausted from all this fight, but it was undoubtedly in top 5 of his list.
But suddenly Butch felt a terrible pain in my shoulder. It was as if something was eating him from within. It was some kind of worms. That nasty parasite had laid eggs inside the care, and they had hatched early because it used too much energy. And they had only one goal – Butch's heart.
The good news kept coming, because the monster got to its feet. The heavily armor on its head made of flakes was gone. It was devastating. If it weren't for her, the monster would surely be dead.
With the worms moving through his body towards his heart and the monster coming at him, his chances didn't look good. He had no energy left for anything but the move I had to make with Brick. But Butch would not give up. If this was his last battle, he preferred to fight to the end.
This time the monster did not plan to eat it, but to crush it to death. He smiled as he prepared to fly again, but suddenly felt a strange energy. "That's it" he said as looked behind the monster, a bright red ball of electricity appeared. Butch also lit up, but in green. When that happened, all the energy of the red orb turned to him, incinerating the monster completely. It was electric charge they had collected during their battles with the monster. One positive and the other negative. And when they release it, this energy is attracted to each other creating electric barrage with power 50,000 volts and up. No living thing could survive. Even the worms that were inside Butch. That was "Bolt Down".
The only thing left of the monster were its burning bones. Brick landed in front of his brother. All he had left were his pants and some of his shirt. It was almost healed, but still weak after everything, and Butch had almost nothing to wear. Everything was torn and crushed. The two looked at each other and immediately fell to the ground from exhaustion. Now laying down side by side thay watch the night sky.
"Did you see I told you I could do it," Brick said in a cheerful voice, glad it was over. At least for now.
"I didn't doubt you for a second, Bro," Butch replied to what his brother had said.
"Except the time you did" Brick tell, laughing out loud
"Okay. But don't blame me. You would, too. Don't deny it." Butch said a little more openly "Now let's go back and wake Boomer. We are not the only ones who should work."
„I can't agree more to that" Brick said jokingly, eager to see if it was all worth it.
"Hey, what is this?" Butch asked, looking up at the sky.
"Is it snow?" Brick asked as he finally open his just healed eyes and watched the little white snowflakes descend on them. It was amazing. This gave them a happy but nostalgic mood.
„It's Christmas in Townsville now, isn't it?" Butch said just like that. It wasn't that of a question as for a statement.
"Everywhere is Christmas you bucked head" said Brick, laughing at what he had said, trying to distract himself from the thought of his hometown.
Butch stood silent for a while before happily announcing "Merry Christmas then, Bro".
"Merry Christmas to you too … brother" Brick said, looking at Butch with a warm smile. It was very rare Brick to smile like that, but Butch knew when he do it, he do it from the heart.
Warmed by the burning skeleton of the monster near them, the two boys watched the snowflakes fall from the night sky silently while remembering the good times and thinking of the ones that yet have to come.
