The next day Yami and Atem were going on a stake out to find the villains that kidnapped Yugi and Heba and find out their plan. They told Yugi and Heba to stay back for their own protection. Yugi and Heba were worried for their boyfriend's safety but they obliged and stayed back. Yami and Atem promised a safe return to them so they wouldn't worry. Atem and Yami stopped by their house Yugi and Heba said they had a surprise for them.
"Hey Yugi, hey Heba." Yami and Atem said
"Hey guys, do you have everything you need" yugi asked
"Yep." Yami said
"you bet!" Atem said with a smile
"Not quite your forgetting your lunch." Heba said
"Lunch?" They both asked
"Yeah, we made you guys a lunch." Yugi said excitedly
"you know because your stakeout maybe kinda long." Heba explained
Yami and Atem looked at Yugi and Heba with kind eyes and smiled
"Thank you Aibou. Your very thoughtful." Yami said softly
"Yes, thank you Akhu. Your so sweet." Atem said while nuzzling Heba's neck
"Of course it was our pleasure." Yugi said
"Yeah, it was no problem." Heba said giggling
"Now, are you sure you guys will be ok?" Yugi asked
"Yeah." Atem said
"We'll be just fine dont worry." Yami said sweetly
"And after our stakeout is over we'll come over here and watch some movies with you guys." Atem said softly
"Okay." Heba said
"sounds like a plan to me." Yugi said with a smile
"Now, we want you to stay in the house it's for your own protection." Atem said
"Okay." Yugi said
"Yeah, we'll stay home." Heba said
"Good. Now we have to get going." Atem said
"we'll see you soon." Yami said sweetly
"We promise." Atem said softly
Yami kissed Yugi and Atem kissed Heba
"Goodbye for now Aibou." Yami said
"farewell Akhu." Atem said
"We love you." both twins said
"And we love you." Both Yami and Atem said
Once the twins left they went into an old abandoned building and sat behind a wall waiting for the villain.
"So what's the plan brother?" Yami asked
"I say we send those creeps to the shadow realm" Atem said
"What?! No! we can't just kill them!" Yami said urgently
"And why not? They deserve it!" Atem said
"There's got to be a peaceful solution." Yami said
"Well do you have any bright ideas?" Atem asked sarcastically
"Well, what if we strip the villain of his cards and power then we let the authorities take care of the rest." Yami explained
"That will take too long we have to defeat them now!" Atem growled
"I know, but we can't send them to the shadow realm it's too risky."
"Your passiveness is getting really annoying." Atem said
"And I'm getting sick of your aggressive temper. Did you forget the vow we made when we got the items? Think Atem we're protectors not killers!" Yami said
"I know that but if we do it your way they'll escape again. We must do this brother." Atem said
"No! We need to find a better peaceful solution." Yami said
"But..." Atem started
"Shhh quiet! Listen." Yami whispered
just then they heard the villains talk about their plan
"So boss what are we gonna do about those pesky twins? I mean one can see the future and the other can summon the shadows. they're practically unstoppable." the henchman said
"Dont worry I know what will bring them to the're knees the villain said
"And what's that boss?" The henchman asked
"Those two boys we kidnapped last night. It seems like they care a great deal about them." The villain informed
"So what?" the henchman questioned
"So we get those boys and use them as pawns. Then they will surrender the items." The villain explained
"Oh I think I get it now boss heheheh." The henchman said
Once Atem heard that his face turned bright red and his eyes flickered with vengeance.
"How dare they?!" Atem half yelled
"Atem hush!" Yami whispered
"No! They wanna use Yugi and Heba as pawns they'll pay dearly! Let's go!" Atem whispered angrily
Yami grabbed Atem's arm "No! We can't it will blow our cover! Plus we need to listen to their plan so we can come up with our own." Yami said urgently
"The plan is simple we force those two in a shadow game and send them to the shadow realm." Atem whispered back
"Atem no we can't! It will blow our cover." Yami said
"We can't let them get away with this brother! we've let them ruin our lives for four years enough is enough!" Atem exclaimed
"I know how you feel but you need to calm down." Yami said
"Yugi and Heba are in danger and you expect me to be calm?! How can I knowing that the're lives are at risk?!" Atem exclaimed close to tears
"We can't protect them if we're captured. Now, why don't you take a breath and calm down." Yami said putting a hand on Atem's shoulder
"You know this will never Your too passive. You'll let the villains walk all over us if we stick with your plan."Atem said
"Well, if we rush into things that will just make things worse!" Yami snapped
"ugh! Why don't you ever fight back?! Aren't you sick of the enemy walking all over you?!" Atem asked
"I'm not suggesting we don't fight back. I'm suggesting we take time and listen to their plan. Then we make our plan to strike." Yami said calmly
"Uh hello Yami! their plan is simple they wanna kidnap Yugi and Heba again." Atem said
"That may not be entirely true." Yami said
"What do you mean?" Atem asked
"Maybe they want Yugi and Heba to join forces with them like allies of some sort to weaken us." Yami explained
When Atem heard that anger and vengeance surged through his body. He was so mad his puzzle started to activate causing a dark perple aura to form around him.
"They'll pay!" Atem growled darkly
"Atem stop! If you let your anger take control you'll release the shadows and doom us both!" Yami cried
"No! I've had enough of waiting around brother!" Atem said
"Atem you have to chill! If Heba were here he would say the same thing!" Yami said urgently
"Oh and like you have a better idea?! Your whole attitude is waiting around!" Atem yelled
"And your whole attitude is rushing into things without getting all the details first!" Yami argued back
The villains stopped what they were doing and went around the wall were they saw Yami and Atem arguing.
"Hey boss look the twerps came to us." The henchman said
"Well,well look what we have here the mouse and the beast is arguing. Two opposites and instead of working together you two are fighting each other. Well no matter your making this way too easy for me." The villain said
"Way to go Atem we're captured!" Yami whispered
"Shut up Yami!" Atem whispered back
"Me?! You got us into this at least I try to think through my problems!" Yami snapped
"Enough you two! Your bickering bores me." The villain said
The villain leans down and spray knock out gas in Yami's and Atem's face.
"Night night little mouse." The villain said
"No Yami! What did you do to him?!
"hehehe I've silenced him just like I will you. Now, it's time to lay the beast to rest hehehe." The villain said
After the villain successfully knocked out Yami and Atem he told his henchmen to tie them up.
"what do we do now boss?" The henchman asked
"Now we wait and let their boyfriends come to us it's only a matter of time. At last the millennium items are finally mine! the villain said smirking
