Chapter 6: Lastation…

When we finally came back from turning in the quests, I suggested we should go to Lastation to get the Key Fragment before that lady does.

"Iffy, is there a way to get to the Nation as quickly as possible?" I asked.

"Yeah, there's this thing called the bridge path where you can go to the Nations as fast as possible." IF explained. "But we need to fill in some paperwork and go to the Basilicom to get access to it."

"Okay, then let's fill out some of those paperwork and go to Lastation!" I shouted out loud.

Before we kept eating, Plutia was tapping me on my shoulder.

"Um, Sappy?" Plutia spoke up as she was eating her food. "Can you help me with something?"

"Yeah, sure!" I smiled at her while eating my food. "What is it?"

"Well…" Plutia then gave it some thought. "I've lost my friend along the way, can you help me find her?"

"Sure!" I answered with a smile. "Who is this?"

"Well…" Plutia then was in thought again. "Her name is Peashy. I'm worried about her being lost…"

"Don't worry, Plutia!" I gave her a thumbs up. "We'll find her, right?"

Compa and IF nodded in agreement.

"Sure, you'd help us so it's a no brainer to help you out." IF answered.

"Alright then, let's do this!"

A few minutes later…

"Come on Compa! Let's go to the Basilicom!" IF called out to her.

"Sorry! I was organizing my drawers!" She pulled out a picture of an old man. "And I found this!"

"Wait, is that your grandpa?" I asked her.

Compa then nodded before looking at the picture. "Grandpa… I'm doing well. You don't have to worry."

There was a small pause before she spoke again.

"So please, stop groping your caretaker's bottom. The neighbors are talking about it…"

We all just stared at her like if she was joking or she was serious but Compa just smiled.

"Alrighty then, let's go…"

We're definitely not going to ask about that… We all probably thought as we headed to the Basilicom.

"Hello~!" I smiled as I greeted the guard.

"Welcome to Planeptune's Basilicom." He greeted me back. "What brings you here today?"

Before I'd even say anything, IF spoke up.

"Could we get approvals to go to Lastation?" She asked the guard.

"All four of you to Lastation, correct?" He all looked at us.

"Yessy!" Compa answered while Plutia just nodded.

"Very well then," The guard then pulled out a form and gave it to IF. "Please fill out this form and sign right over here."

IF then filled the form out and then we signed our names on it and gave it back to the guard. He then read our names out loud.

"So Ms. IF, Ms. Compa, Ms. Plutia, and Ms. Sappho, correct?"

My eyes widened in surprise. "Huh?! My name is Sapphire, not Sappho."

"Sorry," He apologized to me before he looked back at the form. "Let's see now… Sappyuu… Sappio…"

"Can no one say my name correctly?" I muttered to myself but loud enough that he could hear.

"Oh, no, no! Not at all!" He shook his head. "I'm just having a bad day, that's all."

"By the way, Compa?" IF looked back at her. "Can you say Sapphire?"

No, I couldn't really say that so I call her Sap-Sap." Compa answered.

"But you can say Planeptune, right?"

Compa then nodded before looking confused.

"Must be a translation thing…" IF muttered to herself.

Plutia just smiled awkwardly since she also couldn't say my name, yet she can say Planeptune.

"Sorry for the wait." The guard spoke up, grabbing our attention. "You're all ready to go. You should be able to travel between Lastation and Planeptune freely now."

We all thanked the guard before I wanted to ask him something.

"What happened to the CPU of Planeptune?"

"I don't really know." He answered. "I've never actually seen her around here at all. So I'm kinda worried what happened to her."

"Oh, sorry about asking…" I muttered to myself.

"Don't worry about it." He smiled. "Safe travels."

"Yeah, safe travels…" We then left the Basilicom on that note.

At Lastation…

Woah Iffy! This looks cool!" I looked around the Nation.

Everything around me looks and feels futuristic. Almost all the buildings have the colors of black, white, and blue.

"Well, it is Lastation…" IF looked around. "This place is ruled by Lady Silver Heart. It's known for its multiple museums and futuristic technology."

"So, does each nation fit the CPUs' preferences?" I asked IF.

"Sometimes no." IF answered. "Each CPU has their own sets of rules they follow but they can change some stuff in order keep things fair for the people."

"Oh, I see…" I looked back at Compa and Plutia. "What do you guys think about this Land?"

This place reminds me of a futuristic world." Compa answered. "But I'm not really into that."

"Sooooo cool!" Plutia answered with her eyes beaming with excitement.

"It's not for everyone, but I think it's nice." IF said. "Now, let's go to the Basilicom."

A few hours later…

"Hey, Iffy? Are you sure we're going to the right place?" I asked IF.

"Well, I was sure it was just around this corner…" IF keep looking around.

"So we're lost…"

"Yeah." IF just smiled awkwardly. "I've been here only once so let's ask someone."

"Well, how about that red-haired girl over there!" I pointed to the girl that looked like an adventurer.

We then went over to her. I asked. "Hey! Can I ask you something?"

"Sure! What is it?" The red-haired girl asked.

"I want to go and meet Lady Silver Heart," I told her. "Where can I go and meet with her?"

"Lady Silver Heart?" She tilted her head in confusion. "Ohhh, you mean the cold acting one." She then pointed to the direction of where it was. "Just head down this path, take a right, and you'll find the Basilicom."

"So I guessed correctly then…" IF looked at the direction. "Thank you."

The girl then smiled kindly. "Got to help each other in need, right?"

"Well, do you mind if I asked you your name?" I asked her. "I'm Sapphire! That over there Iffy, Compa, and Plutia."

"My name is Falcom." She introduced herself. "I'm a newbie adventurer. If you're in trouble and you need help, just give me a holler."

"Really?!" I exclaimed. "Thanks. We're in a hurry so we have to run! Hope we meet you again!"

"Yeah, see you again!" As we left Falcom, I heard her saying something. "I can't believe I was able to meet Plutia, IF, and Compa here."

At Lastation's Basilicom…

When we entered, we saw a young gray-haired girl wearing a suit muttering to herself.

"Hey, um, can I talk to Lady Silver Heart?" I asked the girl.

The girl looked at me intently while I felt a little nervous.

"Do you know who I am?" She asked me simply.

"Well, no…" I answered. "Should I know you?"

"Hm, I see…" The girl muttered to herself. "My name is Kei. The Oracle of Lastation. It's nice to meet you."

"Hi, my name is Sapphire!" I introduced myself.

"The name's IF." IF also introduced herself.

"And my name is Compa." Compa said. "And this is Plutia."

"Sapphire, IF, Compa, and Plutia…" She listed off the names in order. "First, I need some information. Why are you here for?"

"Well…" I started explaining myself. "We're trying to find the Key Fragments so I can get my memories back so I want to ask the CPU if they have seen it."

"I see…" Kei then thought for a moment. "I guess I can help you but I need you to find something for a personal favor."

"What kind of personal favor?" IF asked with some suspicion on her face.

"Our nation is currently repairing a special item." She started to explain. But we lack some crucial material." She then smirked. "Perhaps you've heard of these? We need a Treasure Gem and a good chunk of Hematite."

IF then looked shocked by this. "What?! You realize how rare it is?!"

"How rare are we talking about?" I asked IF.

"So rare that you can't even find them in any regular vendor." IF explained to me. "There's no info on where to find them, either." She then looked at her angrily. "This is just a one-sided trade."

Kei just smirked. "Then I guess our negotiation is at its end."

"Rrrgh…" IF looked at her with frustration.

"Alright, I'm willing to accept your offer." I answered.

"But, Saps…"

"Iffy, we have no lead to go on so I guess we can help out." I told IF.

"Okay, I have already sent Silver Heart on finding the materials." Kei said. "I'm going to let you meet up with her so that she can help you. And I'm going to give her a call to not tell you anything either until we uphold our deal."

"Alright then, let's go meet her then!" As we left, I turned to Kei. "Where can we meet her?"

"Outside of the Guild." She simply answered and she gave me the directions of where to go.

"Okay then, See ya!" And then we left the Basilicom.

With Kei…

"Please go meet with Sapphire and the others outside the Guild." Kei called Silver Heart on the phone. "Don't tell them anything you know."

"Okay then!" Silver Heart answered.

"Please sound at least professional…" Kei deadpanned.

"Oh wow Kei, you sound like a real business girl…"

"Stop being sarcastic about it!" Kei yelled at her before sighing. "Are you sure you want to meet her after what happened."

"Yep! Even if she doesn't remember me, she can still be my friend!"

"Okay, stay safe…" And then Kei hung up the phone.

Outside of the Guild…

"That girl really grinds my gears." IF said in frustration while me and Plutia rubbed her back.

"Come on Iffy! We need that information!" I told her. "We can't go empty handed!"

"Yeah, you're right…" IF shook her head. "But still…"

"Why is she taking too long?!" IF exclaimed out loud.

"Maybe she got into traffic…" Compa suggested.

"No, I don't think so…" IF rebutted the claim.

"Um, guys…" Plutia spoke up.

"Yeah, what is it Plutia?" I looked at Plutia.

"Ummmm, well…" She looks like she is thinking. "How should I put it…"

"Just spit it out already!" IF exclaimed angrily.

"Well, um, I think I heard… a person in the sky…" She answered.

"Huh? What do you mean by that?" IF asked her.

"Weeeell…" She keeps thinking for a moment. "I think the person is… falling?"

IF just looked at her in disbelief. "Seriously, why would someone fall out of the sky?"

"Well, I fell out of the sky before so it would kinda make sense…" I muttered to myself.

Plutia then looked at me. "But, um, Sappy? I think… At this rate… you're gonna…"

"I'm gonna…?" I tried to continue what Plutia said.

Then we all heard it:

"Move move move move move move!"

"What the—?! Bllllllarrrrmmfff!"

Before I even reacted, someone just landed directly on me.

"Sorry I'm late!" The girl said before she looked down at me as she stepped off of me. "Oh wow! You look like you're in pain. What happened?"

"Owwww!" I yelled at her as I got up and rubbed my back. "That probably because of you!"

"Hehe. Sorry 'bout that!"

I then look closely at her. She looks short than average with a slightly bigger chest. Her white hair reaches all the way to her back to which it looks like it was never combed and her eyes are bright sky blue. She wears a cowboy hat with a micro pin with a symbol of Lastation, a simple white t-shirt with blue jacket and short pants which is attached with a whip, magnum gun, and a small white pouch, and black cowboy boots.

"Kid, you need to run home." IF told her. "We are about to meet with the CPU so you shouldn't be here."

"Yeah, sure…" She said sarcastically. "It sounds really ironic coming from you!"

"What was that?!"

"Well, whatever…" She ignored IF as she looked towards me. "Well, do you want to know who the CPU is?"

"Yeah, who is it?" I asked her.

"Well…" She then pointed towards herself. "You're looking at her."

"Wait, what?" We all said in disbelief.

"Yep! I am Silver Heart that rules over Lastation!" She proudly announced. "But my real name is Listoria! It's nice to meet you!"

That is all for now! To answer one of the questions which is:

"Is Plutia from this dimension or another?

My answer is that Plutia is from the Ultradimension which is just the same Plutia we all know!

Hopefully I was able to get this character correctly as of personality. So, either way, Please Review and Stay Safe!
