"You will start a new life in the future" her grandma had said. Just what did she even mean by that? Was some big change coming? Sometimes Hibari just didn't get the old woman's figurative speech.
And by sometimes she meant most of the time.
Hotaru on the other hand always seemed to understand it. Or was she just better at hiding her confusion, trying to please their grandmother? Hibari wouldn't put it past her… but this time, Hotaru hadn't been there. She and grandma had been alone when she was told it. Did that mean that whatever change was coming, it didn't involve Hotaru?
"You will be placed in to Team Spring"
What did that mean? It was a group of people she'd have to work with, that much Hibari had gathered, but would they be above her or below her? Or would their status be equal? She wished her grandmother had explained her more about it, but she supposed there was some mystery here that Hibari was expected to solve herself.
"Whatever" the girl thought as she got in to her bed. Whatever it was, it was something her grandmother had planned, so it must be important. Besides "Whatever it is, I'll be fine with it as long as Hotaru isn't involved."
