Please forgive me, its been hectic and ive been so busy with school, i hope you enjoy this chap. My mom is pregnant again, so she's feeling sick and all, I'm usually helping her out at times.

Marinette sighed as the needle in her hand stabbed her finger. She was used to it, especially since she was in a hectic rush to get her dress done. The very one, that would be presenting itself to the monsiour Agreste. Gabriel, was a critic she knew that. He definitely wouldn't have loved the idea of her joining his son for the most important ball oof the year, or so Adrien told her. She went because she knew that saving Adrien from Lila was the best that she could do. And so, in repayment, she went to the ball with Adrien, as a friend. But at times, her beloved cat noir would pop in her mind, and she'd feel guilty, super guilty. She loved chat, but being around Adrien would make her feel like she couldn't decide, which she could've! But still.

"Tap, tap", came the sound from her balcony window. She smiled boastfully before covering her dress with a sheet, and goin over to her visitor.

"Hello Chaton", she said smiling, once she opened the hatch. Chat smiled back at her, but obviously something had been on his mind.

"What wrong?", she asked. Chat only frowned, looking down but then back at her, as if trying to be the victim. He made "puppy eyes", as his lip went out.

"Princess, is it true, that you'll be away with Adrien Agreste to the ball tonight?" He asked.

Marinette smiled, then chuckled.

"Yes, it's true, matter of a fact, I actually have to go to coffe and a walk in the park with him this evening", she said.

Chat stayed silent before smirking.

"Do you like him?" He asked. Marinette looked at him with eyes wide.

"No, definetly not, he's just a friend, besides, I like somebody else", she said looking down. Chat crocked his head in interest.

"Who?" He said. Marinette smirked before looking back at him.

"No one, of your concern, I'll talk to you later chat, I've got to finish my dress, MERRY CHRISTMAS!" Mari said before rushing back into her room, leaving a stranded cat.

Chat quirked an eyebrow before chuckling, and he ran off.

"You know, my dad used to say, that being with family was all that mattered during Christmas, funny how he takes that seriously nowadays", Adrien said sarcastically, while him and marinette walked through the park sidewalk, and a cup of coffee accompanied them. Marinette sent him a sympathetic look.

"And yet, here you are still taking that advice", she said. Adrien looked at her shockingly, but still not getting the hint.

"What do you mean?", he said.

Marinette only smiled before walking forward and humming jingle bells. A smirk forming on her face. Adrien only smiled before running up to her.

"Are you warming up to me?", Adrien asked, nudging her in the arm.

"I don't know, i still am mad at you for putting me on the spot in the front of the class last week, and with all do respect monsieur, i am still 1 hour away from finishing my dress, out of the hectic rush you put me in. How was i going to sew a dress in one week? The dress I'm supposed to wear in front of Audrey bourgeois, and your father?"she said with much expression. Adrien nodded his head in thinking before looking back at marinette with a side glance.

"Yet, you still come to the ball with me." He said. Marinette chuckled, then took a sip of her coffee.

"Only because I pity you", she said.

"Are you sure about that?", he said, both of them stopping to look at eachother.

"Positive", she said.

"Absolutely positive?", Adrien said winking at her. Marinette took a sharp breath while staring at him. Adrien smirked at her hesitance.

"Without question", she said sticking her tongue out, then running back towards the bakery,"race ya!"

"But what about my coffee?!"
