As classes end, Tatsuya and Miyuki start walking home together.

Miyuki: Hopefully Sonic and Tails are doing okay.

Tatsuya: They're probably out shopping or watching a movie.

Sonic and Tails speed in right in front of the siblings.

Sonic: Tatsuya! Miyuki! We have a huge problem!

Miyuki: What's wrong?

Once they head back home, they explain everything and give them the flash drive. They find all the plans for the Great Asian Union to invade Yokohama.

Tatsuya: So Xiangshan Chen plans to invade Yokohama Beach during the Thesis Competition. And he planned to use you both because you're not from this world.

Tails: Yeah.

Miyuki: Sonic. Tails. Thank you for giving us this information. If you hadn't gotten this, there would be bloodshed on the day of the Thesis Competition.

Sonic: No big deal. Trying to stop a disaster before it strikes is our gig.

Tails: Evil never wins.

The duo high fives each other.

Tatsuya: We'll inform the Ten Master Clans about this. And the National Defense Force.

Later on, Xiangshan Chen and his forces prepare to evacuate now that Sonic and Tails have passed on the evidence.

Chen: Curse those cartoon characters. We've been exposed and now the operation's failed.

Gonghu: ...

Just then, an explosion comes from outside, as Sonic, Tails, Tatsuya, Miyuki, and their friends from First and Third high school storm in, along with the National Defense Force.

Chen: Crud. We have to move!

Gonghu gets frozen in ice.

Chen: Huh?!

The students aim their CAD's at him.

Tatsuya: We've finally caught you, Xiangshan Chen.

Masaki: Do you surrender now that you failed?

Chen: Alright. I surrender. I don't stand a chance now that our plan's exposed.

Sonic: Well, that's a win for the good guys.

Tails: Yup!

The ice starts breaking.

Sonic: Not yet.

Gonghu breaks free and goes after Sonic.

Sonic: Woah chill out there, big guy!

As he was about to get Sonic, Tatsuya uses his martial arts abilities to knock the Man-Eating Tiger down on the ground, and then Miyuki uses Niflheim to freeze him.

Sonic: Okay NOW we win. Selecting a bagel...

Sonic takes a bagel from the plate on the table.

Chen: All this because of some cartoon characters.

Tails grabs a bagel too.

Tails: Don't mess with cartoon characters.

And so the Great Asian Union's plan to attack Yokohama has failed thanks to the two heroes. and both Xiangshan Chen and Gonghu Lu are sent to prison.

Kyouko: Thank you very much, Sonic, Tails. You've just stopped a terrorist attack from happening.

Mari: I have to say. You two are amazing. Sonic as the blazing fast hero, and Tails as the smart aleck. I'm proud of you guys.

Sonic: Hey, that's just who we are.

Tails: Why don't we all go celebrate now that we're done here.

Erika: I'm down with that!

Sonic: Alright! Let's go!

Everybody heads to a cafe to celebrate. Meanwhile, Robotnik comes up with a devious scheme.

Dr. Robotnik: Let's see. It's been a few days since we saw Sonic. I think it's time we check in on him and Tails.

Cinder: I think that's an excellent idea. Hope they're not dead. I doubt it.

The mad doctor calls in the hedgehogs robotic counterpart.

Dr. Robotnik: Metal Sonic. Head to the dimension I sent Sonic and Tails to and say hello to him, would you?

Metal Sonic: Beep beep.

The doctor opens a portal to where Sonic and Tails are at, and the robot flies through.

Cinder: Is he gonna come back.

Dr. Robotnik: Oh don't worry. I gave him part of the Phantom Ruby's power so he'll be able to return back to this dimension.

Everybody starts to leave the cafe after celebrating.

Masaki: There's something about you that is very unique, Sonic. With your speed especially.

Sonic: That's why I'm the fastest thing alive. The others pretty much said the same thing.

Honoka: So are you guys going to finish building that dimensionator so you can go home?

Tails: We have to. There are big problems to take care of back there.

Erika: When you head back kick that Eggman's butt for us, okay?

Sonic: Will do. Huh?

Something metallic walks up to them.

Miyuki: What's that?

The blue robotic duplicate of Sonic reveals himself.

Tails: Metal Sonic?! What's he doing here?!

Sonic: Hey Metal. What's up.

The thruster on Metal Sonic's back starts burning as he blasts off right at Sonic, grabbing him.

Sonic: Gulp! So I assume Eggman sent you to check in on me?

He nods his head.

Sonic: Figured.

Sonic kicks his counterpart in the face as he breaks free, and it becomes a high-speed battle.

Tatsuya: I assume that's one of Dr. Robotnik's creations.

Tails: Yeah. He was built to match Sonic's speed.

Miyuki takes out her CAD.

Mari: Don't worry. They're both evenly matched. Plus, he and Tails are the Robotnik experts.

Sonic: You never quit, do you, Metal? Can't say I'm surprised.

Metal Sonic: *Beep beep beep*

Sonic: It's gonna be the same as always you know.

Metal Sonic: *Beep beep beep*

Sonic: Hope you got good bot insurance.

The fight continues. They both clash spin dashes, and break out. Metal Sonic fires some laser beams at him, but he dodges and uses his homing attack to knock the robot down on the ground. Once he gets back up, he escapes through a portal, and it closes.

Sonic: Running away? That's not like you at all, Metal.

Tails: I hope things aren't worse than they already are.
