Chapter 15

After the whole thing with Katyusha everyone went back to what they were doing before. Darjeeling attempted to find Kay and see how she was holding up from the events of last night and this morning. She managed to find her talking to Miho and her crew.

"Hello everyone, sorry to jump in."

"No it's fine," Hana said.

"How is everyone doing today?"

"I'm doing quite well." Hana said

"I'm also doing pretty good." Saori said

"Hello Miss Darjeeling, I want to thank you again for helping me get back to Oorai." Yukari said

"You're quite welcome."

"Yes, thank you again." Miho said

"I am going to talk to some of the others, it was nice talking to you guys," Kay said as she left Darjeeling with Miho and the others.

Darjeeling, not wanting to be rude, stayed and talked for a bit. After a while of talking and eating the food provided by Anzio, everyone was getting tired. The first to leave was Pravda after Katyusha fell asleep. Then Kouro left. All that were left was Anzio, Saunders, and St. Gloriana. They all helped clean things up and helped Anzio load everything back up. After everyone else had left Darjeeling was finally able to talk to Kay.

"Hey Kay?"

"Yes?"

"Can we talk about this morning?"

"Sure, what about it? Besides the fact that you openly admitted still having feelings for me, then told me that you needed time to think about it."

"You said you understood though."

"I do, it's just that, I finally had you then you pushed me away again."

"Kay, this is still new to me. I also have a duty to my crews and to the school."

"You keep saying that."

"Please, I know that I want to be with you, but I need to figure this thing out first. Please be patient"

"Ok. If you ever need help, then you can talk to me."

"Thank you."

"You know you're not as refined when you try to talk to me."

"I don't know what you're talking about. "

"Really? You are so cute when you're nervous."

"Shut up." Darjeeling said as she was blushing.

"Alright then. I have to go, I'll talk to you later."

"Until we meet again," Darjeeling said. Kay gave her a hug and planted a small kiss on her cheek.

"Don't get caught by anyone else. I want you all to myself." Kay whispered to Darjeeling causing her to blush even more. After that Kay left the blushing blonde and met up with Alissa and Naomi

"What was that about? Commander?" Naomi asked, "I haven't seen anyone turn that shade of red in a long time."

"I was just trying to play with her. I honestly hope I didn't just scare her off."

"Knowing you, you may have." Alisa said playfully in an attempt to annoy her commander

"Hey!" Kay said. They got on the boat and departed. Darjeeling watched as the Saunders girls headed towards their ship.

"Hey," Assam said, coming up behind her and startling her.

"Oh, hey Assam."

"So?"

"Not a word to anyone."

"Yes Ma'am. When are you actually going to accept the fact you like her and ask her out?"

"Assam, please, this isn't the time to bring this up."

"Sorry." Assam said as the others were joining them.

"Man that was fun." Masala said. "Anzio always makes the best food."

"Yeah. Hey commander, I think Miho wants to talk to you before we leave." Orange said.

"Alright. Though I don't want to stay too long."

Darjeeling made her way back to the garage. Miho waved her over

"Yes Miho?"

"Thank you for coming, it was nice seeing everyone again."

"You are quite welcome. And thank you for inviting us."

"No problem. Good luck with Kay. " Miho stated. Darjeeling returned to her friends and they departed.
