Damion-

The first two rounds of the Vytal Festival Tournament are over. The next round is Yang vs. Mercury of Cinder's team. I still don't trust them, how they won the last two rounds has been weird. I still can't tell what happened. I watched as Yang won the match, but then something happened. I heard Emerald say something as I sat near her to see if she did anything. Then Yang attacked him for no reason. Crap, what did Emerald do to Yang? Mind control, or an illusion? I have to make sure she's ok. I thought as I jumped to my feet and ran towards the exit. I met up with Ruby and Blake also heading to their dorm.

"Damion, that wasn't Yang. She didn't do that on purpose," Ruby said as she saw me.

"I know, I think Emerald used her semblance on Yang from the stands," I replied.

"How?" Blake asked.

"I don't know. Not yet at least. First we need to make sure that she doesn't get arrested."

"She won't, Ironwood said that he will handle it, and I don't think that any of my students would do that," Ozpin said from behind me.

"Really?" Ruby asked.

"Yes, however he said he wants to talk to all of you at your dorm," he said looking at Ruby and Blake.

"We need to hurry," Blake said.

"Follow me. I was planning on heading back after the fight. I have a ride already set up," I said looking for my teammate's father who drives a manta.

"Hey, looking for me," a voice said as I saw him. He looked just like Konnor.

"Hey, can you also take my friends please?"

"Sure, I won't even ask why." He then took us right to Beacon and after I thanked him I ran right to their room. When we got there two atlesian soldiers were right in front of the door. They let us in as soon as they realized that Ruby and Blake were members of Yang's team. They convinced them to let me in as well.

"Ah, here's the rest of your team," a man in a military suit who I knew was General Ironwood. "And someone else I don't know," he said looking at me.

"I'm Damion, leader of team DRKNS," I told him.

"Ok, and why are you here?"

"I have information that can help you. Emerald, his partner, was following me a few weeks ago trying to get information from me. I found this weird so I sat near her, right before Yang hit Mercury she said something. I couldn't tell what."

"Thanks, I will use this information if needed," Ironwood said. "However, team RWBY is disqualified. I'm sorry."

"What?" Yang demanded.

"You attacked a student who was already down, no matter what you say. Some people wanted you to get arrested, this is the most we could do for you."

"I hate to agree with him, but it's true," I said.

"I can't believe this," Weiss said.

"There's something wrong, Ruby, Blake. You two need to go to Amity and make sure that they aren't planning anything else. I'll stay here with Weiss and Yang. I think something like what happened with the breach that you guys dealt with earlier this year is gonna happen again," I said after Ironwood left.

"What?!" They all exclaimed.

"This is unprecedented. We need to expect anything and everything," I said.

"I agree, I hate it, but he's right," Blake said.

"What?" Weiss asked.

"This sounds like something that the White Fang will be a part of."

"How would you know?" I asked.

"Oh, yeah. I haven't told you yet. I used to be a member, I left," she said looking at Ruby.

"Ok, I trust you. You can't be a bad person."

"Thanks."

"Let's go," I said. We then went our separate ways and then everything happened at once. Pyrrha accidentally killed someone named Penny, Amity started to fall, and grim started to invade Vale and Beacon. I started defending the school and I saw most of the teams JNPR and RWBY together.

"Hey guys," I said running up to them I then realised that Ruby, Blake, Yang, and Pyrrha were missing. "Where are the others?"

"Ruby and Pyrrha went to the top of Beacon tower. Yang went looking for Blake," Juane informed me. We then all looked as at the top of the tower a bright light appeared.

"Ruby," I said. "I'm going up to get them, Noble, stay here and help them," I quickly said running to the tower. I quickly activated my semblance to the final stage and felt two of the tendrils emerge from the small of my back. Wow, I've only had one before. This is going to make getting up the tower easier. I then realised that my hoodie was mostly burnt up, leaving my right arm and most of my chest uncovered. I took out Reaper and shifted it into its other form, a long sword. The tendrils then climbed up the tower as quickly as possible. I got to the top, and I saw Ruby laying on the ground near Pyrrha's tierra and weapon. Crap, I was too late. I then saw Cinder lying on the ground with an arm missing. Serves you right. I thought as I grabbed Ruby and Pyrrha's stuff and went back to the group.

"Damion, Ruby!" Juane said as soon as he saw us. "Where's Pyrrha?"

"I'm, I'm sorry. I was too late," I said setting Ruby down with Pyrrha's stuff.

"No," he said falling to the ground. An Atlas Airship landed near us. I then saw Yang on the ground, she was also missing an arm.

"Where's Blake?"

"She dropped Yang off and then ran away," Weiss said.

"She must have a reason," I said, taking my scroll out and sending Sun a message.

"You student's should go," Ironwood said, walking up to us.

"General Ironwood?" I asked. "What good will that do us?"

"You were correct Damion, I'm sorry I couldn't do anything. My men are going to take you to a safe zone, you are going to do your best to protect the people there," he instructed us.

"Fine," I said. "I don't like this, but it will also allow us to save our strength."

"I'm glad you're such a smart boy, your team is already there."

"Thanks." That was when things slowed down. Weiss's father had people retrieve her, Yang and Ruby's father and uncle brought them to their house. Blake never returned. After a while what remained of team JNPR said they were thinking of going to Ruby's house. I asked if I could go as well and they said that I could. The rest of my team minus Noble stayed behind to help retake Beacon. My hoodie was ruined so I talked to Mr. Xiao Long and he said that he could help me. He gave me a black cloak with a shirt without a right sleeve. I met with team JNR out the front door, Noble was sitting with them and they looked over at me.

"How do I look?"

"Not bad," Jaune said.

"Thanks, Ruby said she'll be right out."

"Ready?" I heard her say behind me.

I turned around and saw her standing right behind me.

"Let's go," I said. "Time to go to Haven academy."

I'm sorry for all of the time skips, but I didn't have anything really planned out for those weeks. It's very close to what happened in the anime so nothing too big. Let's see what comes of Ruby and Blake's relationship now though.
