At the Executioner, Darth Vader was smiling during meditation, after having manipulated his son's dreams. Planting the doubt within the boy about the history of his family, that Vader doubted that Obi-Wan had told Luke about his sister Leia.

-Dad? - Leia's sleepy voice brought Vader out of his meditation.

The Sith opened his eyes and looked at his three-year-old daughter, who was wearing gray pajamas and clutching a plush bantha against her chest, signs that Leia had just woken up.

Shyness and anxiety emanated from her in waves by the Force.

-Is there a problem, princess? Vader asked, his eyebrow raised slightly. Wondering why Leia was suddenly so shy and nervous.

-Daddy, - Leia looked at her father expectantly in his brown eyes. - can i have a brother?

Leia's question caught Vader off guard. Of course, he was hunting Luke to put him in place with his family, but he didn't think Leia would care about the brother who would soon be among them even when he hadn't even told her.

-Why are you asking me that, Leia? - Vader asked in a soft tone.

Leia fidgeted with her father's gaze, but replied: -I had a dream. It was a giant green field and there was a lot of water running down the rocks. Leia's eyes lit up as she told her father about her dream. - You were there, playing with me like we always do, but this time there was a boy there, he looked a lot like you. Leia's forehead wrinkled as she tried to remember the boy from her dream. - I think his name was Luke, you seemed very proud of him.

Vader couldn't help the surprise that appeared on his face. Was Leia so strong in the Force that she could even dream of the manipulated dreams that he had made for Luke?

He would have to be careful next time, and maybe teach Leia how to raise his mental shields.

-But, Daddy. - The voice drove Vader out of his thoughts. - Can I still have a brother?

Vader looked at Leia and said in a soft tone: -I'm going to get you a brother, princess. - He strokes Leia's head gently. - I just need you to be patient, it will take a while for your brother to arrive.

Leia's eyes lit up and a huge smile appeared on her face. She launched herself at Vader, wrapping her small arms around her father's neck, while saying in a very cheerful voice: -THANKS A LOT, DAD! I LOVE YOU! LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

Vader wrapped his arms around his daughter's small body. A small smile appeared on his face at Leia's happy attitude.

-Okay, princess. - Vader looked at his 3 year old daughter's face. - Now go to your room and rest, it will be a very long journey.

-It's ok. - Leia released her father, not before giving him a kiss on the cheek. - Good night dad.

Leia quickly left her father's meditation chamber, probably going to her room. Vader looked for a while at the door where his daughter had passed, he couldn't help the pride that welled up in his chest to see how strong Leia had become in the last three years.

Vader couldn't help feeling that he was saying that this was how things should have been. If it weren't for Sidious's hunger for power and the arrogance of the Jedi Order, his wife would still be alive and they would have raised their children together. But that dream was shattered by the Jedi blindness over Palpatine's real intentions.

When the time to bring down the Emperor finally comes, Vader will make it a point to give Sidious a very painful death and finally show him what it's like to feel real fear.
