It was at night when I got the letter from Sabrina. By then, I was rational again and started thinking about what Alex said. I was the only person to see the words from those books. Those books about the 'Devil' that were currently in my drawers. What does that means, that I could be a person that makes a deal with the 'Devil' out of desperation? And why would I do that? What happens that makes me do that anyways?
I also read the book on supernaturals, or at least some parts of it. I was surprised that there is something called 'The Ghost of Christmas Never' that accepts help from those that wants to destroy Christmas. The last time it was seen, it was banished into the 4th Dimension by the other three ghosts, somehow.
Anyways, while I try to figure out more about what Alex said, a knock came at my door. "Hello? I got a letter for Aaron Dimension?" A student's voice said through the door. "Coming." I said as I opened it to see a student who looks like Shaggy from 'A Pup Named Scooby-Doo'. The show was kind of ok, but have some flaws. "Here you go." The student said, handing the envelope with my name on it. "Thank you. Here you go." I said, handing him a five-dollar bill, just in case. "No prob. See you soon during class." The student said as he left down the halls to deliver the rest of the mail.
At Warlock Academy, they have one student delivering the mail to the students and staff every Saturdays and Sundays. I figured I give him some type of payment, just to be nice. I took the envelope to my bed and opened it. There were three letters in it. The first one was from my father. Tears of happiness and sadness came from my eyes as I read it.
Dear son,
How's school treating you? We hope you're enjoying it.
Alex told us how well you're doing in your classes. Congrats on making your first potions! Wish we could have seen that moment. Anyways, your mother started feeling sick all of a sudden and I'm taking her to the hospital soon for a check-up. I think she might be pregnant and if so, congratulations, you're going to be a older brother! Of course, though, it might be a false alarm so sorry if your hopes are raised.
We're so proud of you, no matter what. And no matter what happens, you're always special, no matter what other people say.
With love, your father.
I put the letter in my suitcase and read the second letter, which was from my mother. It was a couple of days after the first one and a bit shorter.
Dear our sweet and oldest son,
We went to the hospital to see why I was feeling under the weather lately. It turns out that I'm pregnant with twins and according to the scans, there is nothing wrong about their healths. You get to be a older brother!
Hope you enjoy this bit of news and enjoy school, sweetie!
With lots of love, your mother!
I smiled as I put the letter in the suitcase as well. I'm going to be a older brother soon. I get to be the one who helps take care of them. I'm the one who they will kind of look up to and want to be. I also will be on diaper-changing duty, but, oh well. It will be worth it for them.
"I soon looked at the last letter. It was from Sabrina. I would be surprised, but I did told her to contact me if she needs anything at all and I would be there to help. I opened it up and was surprised by the emotions packed into the letter. Here it is written down below.
Dear Aaron,
How've you been? I wish I could say I've been better, but then I would be lying to both you and myself.
I wish I have someone like you here. At least you know how it is to be half-magical. Not even Salem being here is enough to cheer me up. I wish I was a full witch, like the other witches here.
"From, your fellow halfling, Sabrina Spellman
I can feel some guilt from Sabrina's letter for some reason yet didn't question it at all due to the contents of it. I was so distracted by it that I didn't even question the fact that Salem was at Witches Academy. I just started packing up my stuff in my suitcase, except for a spellbook that my dad gave to me as a present for my thirteenth birthday and my wand, which I put in my hoodie pocket as soon as I changed from my school uniform to my regular outfit.
I was so focused on packing, I didn't even realized an advertisement on my laptop was playing before I closed it and put it in the messenger bag before putting it in the suitcase. I wonder what would happen if I did saw that ad? Would some things changed? Nope, getting ahead of myself with that one.
I was sneaking out of Warlock Academy and heading to Witch Academy to help out Sabrina. I wrote a note on the bed and left quietly out of the room and sneak all the way to the front door, which I opened silently and closed just as silently as I opened it. I soon ran down the road towards the woods between the two schools only carrying my suitcase, not knowing the actions I made with my choice.
