Teela's Sword

I own nothing of MOTU, He-man or the characters there in. In this story Teela gets her own power sword and learns how life is with a duel identity. When and ancient evil arises our heroes must travel time and space to gather forces to combat it and save a childhood friend.

CHAPTER NINE GRAYSKULLS OF THE PAST

BACK IN ETERNIA'S PAST

Prince Adam and King D'Vann Grayskull had just returned from their quest, they found Dare and Cobrannan defending the castle with it's guards. The castle is under attack by Horde Prime and his men along with the Snake-men. The castle forces were being overwhelmed, and in a last ditch effort D'Vann used all his mystical power to send a wave that should have banished his enemies to a place outside space and time, however Horde Prime used his magic to cause a backlash and allow himself to escape. The backlash should have killed King Grayskull, but Adam wouldn't allow that if he could stop it. Adam forced D'Vann to hold the Power-Sword and say "By the power of Grayskull... I have the power!"

Once those words were spoke power surged through the ancient king, the damage of the backlash undone he arose. D'Vann handed Adam his sword back thanking him, his queen asking how was he saved and just who are they. Adam explained he and his son Dare are descendants of theirs and Adam was a chosen to receive King Grayskull's sword that had been empowered, Adam had figured since it heals him of wounds it could heal King Grayskull too. Aveena said it made sense but since it was his own power how could it have helped. Cobrannan said "I don't know much about magic or mystic power but I would think it doubled the amount he had so it supercharged his power to be more effective."

It took a day to give the ancient couple the story on why they are there and what is going on in their time, learning this D'Vann tells them he will be going back with them however he will need one of their steel beasts as his cat is too big for the portal. They welcomed D'Vann to the team, before they headed back Queen Aveena gave Adam seven of her feathers to give Teela saying they will help his queen to be. Cobrannan finished his pair of Kopis swords and a survival-knife with a kopis styled blade, this put a smile on his face but had Aveena look at him even more puzzled.

BACK TO THE FUTURE (Just kidding it's the present I just wanted the movie reference)

As they stepped out of the tunnel of time the whole castle shook, then it glowed as bright as a sun. King Grayskull trembled as he felt more powerful than ever as the coridite plate on He-man's harness appeared on his chest, the castle had shaken off all the dirt and grime covering it so it looked like new. After a call to the palace a golden lion cyber-cat was sent for D'Vann, the ancient king called it Valor. Valor was different than the normal cyber-cat, he had wings and could fly, something D'Vann found amusing.

A few moments later a portal opened and Teela came through with Halita (Miss-Mask) and Adora, Adam gave Teela Queen Aveena's feathers. Nobody expected Teela to absorb the feathers, though they didn't seem to do anything. A brief chat had them decide the royal family and Cobrannan would go into the past to get She-La Eva Grayskull, the one who originally beat Shokoti. Keltra asked why just them and Adam said "We of the royal family are blessed with great power, as for Cobrannan he has skills that nobody else here has. Besides we need you all to help defend this castle, with this surge of power Shokoti is sure to try something."

Dare walked over to Keltra and whispered something to her, the blond beauty smiled and nodded telling him to be careful. The six warriors turned and headed back into the tunnel of time, but before he did D'Vann looked back at the Sorceress and gave a small smile. Though he was thinking how she looked like his wife in that getup, the Sorceress blushed from the smile.

Soon they found Adam had been right as Shokoti had her Gorgons with the Orcs attack. Halita took her new gargoyle persona and flew down smashing them with her flail, with the long chain and heavy studded ball she devastated them with it. Keltra and the Sorceress blasted magic at them, then Weaver showed up as did Lyn and they forced the small army to withdraw. The fact Lyn's powers were enhanced by the Ramstone now mounted on her helmet might have had something to do with it.

IN THE PAST

As the Royal family and Cobrannan stepped out of the portal they found themselves at a ball being held in honor of She-La defeating Shokoti. They began to mingle trying to not draw attention to themselves, well except for Cobrannan who walked right up to Eva Grayskull and asked if she cared to dance. Eva was shocked by him, few men had the courage to approach her like that. Looking at him she surmised he was a warrior of great skill and power, also by the way he carried himself he was likely a noble. Thinking it unwise to upset him and the fact she found him rather appealing she smiled and took his offered hand. Cobrannan escorted her to the center of the dance floor as tango type music began to play.

Cobrannan held her hand with the other on her lower back as they began to sway and turn, Eva smiled finding the way they moved rather fun. That is when she noticed his eyes were two different colors, they were almost hypnotic and she felt herself getting heated. The music tempo picked up and they began to spin and he dipped her, after he spun her out then back to him she found herself being lifted in the air then dipped as she came back down. The music ended and many clapped at their skill, Eva herself was trying to regain control of her heartbeat and breathing. The excitement from the dance had done a number on her as did this barbaric looking man. Cobrannan smiled as he bowed and said "Thank you for the dance my lady, you dance like a true warrior."

Eva huffed "No need to be mean."

Cobrannan laughed saying "A true warrior has to have strength, balance, and agility same as a good dancer. It was a complement not a critique."

Eva smiled and said "Well that is different then, thank you. By the way who are you?"

Cobrannan smiled saying "A family friend, I'm actually here with some of your family if you would like to meet them."

Eva agreed so he escorted her to the balcony, while signaling the others to join them. Eva was stunned when she did meet them, she seemed overjoyed to finally meet her father. They explained the situation they were in, and she agreed to help provided she got to spend time with her father and she would be able to return once Shokoti was defeated once and for all. Cobrannan laughed saying Shokoti was in trouble now that they had the greatest heroes in Eternian history to fight her, all were shocked as he listed them and pointed them out. The twins and Teela were slack-jawed and asked how he knew their secrets. Again Cobrannan laughed saying "On Earth we usually wear different looking outfits every day so a change of outfit don't matter. Then there comes the fact only Teela has a butt that nice and Lady Tia has the same butt but bigger."

That caused Adam to laugh and Teela to blush, while the other two women muttered about having nice butts too. Cobrannan seemed to hear them and said "True but She-Ra's skirt covers hers and Eva you're not from our time, also if I check yours' out your father will likely kick my ass."

D'Vann smirks saying "You got that right."

Eva just gives D'Vann a hug making sure Cobrannan notices her bottom as she reached up to hug her father. Cobrannan gulped, he thought okay that is the sexiest ass I have ever seen. After a visit to Castle Grayskull where Aveena was stunned to see D'Vann they headed back through the Tunnel of Time.
