Morning came and it was already after eleven in the morning. Everyone was worried about how Gabriel's arm would be once they saw him, they worried how he'd react, how he'd feel, how he'd take the news about what he'll be doing during the recovery of his arm as he would go through the healing process.
While in Washu's lab, the pink haired little female genius was not only gathering up her information, proof, evidence, records and X-ray pictures of Gabriel injury. She was also thinking of an explanation to use to tell Tenchi and everyone how she healed Gabriel's arm as she had used a serum to heal his injury completely inside and outside while it would mean that the serum forever changed part of his body.
Washu was examining Gabriel's body and his thin body had formed a new body type, his body metamorphosed into a more muscular physique overnight when she lifted his shirt up and examined his entire torso, she looked at his arms and his legs and they too shown to have changed like the rest of his now muscular physique. She wasn't surprised but looked as though she was expecting this to happen.
"Wow! It looks like he was hitting the gym for years." Washu said taking notice.
Curiosity got the better of her as she reached for his pants and undone his zipper and button, pulled it apart a little and pulled his underwear up a bit to look down at his crotch area and she saw something there was different too. She blushed, pulling his pants and underwear back up as she pulled the zipper back up and buttoned the pants back up.
"Yep! Everything has changed, even his boys." said Washu nearly shocked at what she last saw.
Gabriel stirred in the bed and Washu took notice. She got closer to him and felt his forehead, it felt like his temperature was normal from how his body temperature wasn't hot nor cold. Just as she was about to remove her hand was when Gabriel's hand quickly reached out and took a gentle hold of Washu's hand, his eyes quickly burst open and he made a startled jump as he was now sitting up straight in the bed.
"You okay, little man?" Washu asked surprised.
Gabriel looked at Washu and removed his hand from hers. He looked at his left forearm and saw the signs of the injury were gone. He felt no pain, his arm wasn't stiff, there was no swellings, bruises, discomfort and no pain, no agony. He braved the attempt to move his arm and he raised his left arm up slowly, he closed his hand into a fist and opened it, he moved his left arm up, than moved it in every direction he was able to and he felt nothing. He smiled, letting out a gasp and began to let out a joyful laugh.
"I see someone is feeling better." said Washu looking proud of herself.
Without warning, the young boy turned to Washu and flung his arms around her in an embrace. Washu was left wide eyed as Gabriel let out a joyful laugh again as she felt the tears of joy trickling from his eyes and down to their cheeks.
"Dio ti benedica, Washu!" said Gabriel shakily.
Washu smiled and embraced him in her arms as she patted his back gently and felt praised.
"È quello che faccio." said Washu.
They released their arms from each other and Gabriel looked at her with surprise.
"You know Italian too?" said Gabriel raising his eye brows.
"There's a lot I know that not even the smartest of species here on earth could comprehend." said Washu looking confident.
Both of them suddenly were wide eyed at the mentioning of what Washu had said. Washu had forgotten that Gabriel found out that the women of the house were not human, not from earth, seeing some of Ryoko's powers in action judging from what was said about the ladies of the house when the now apprehended space criminal that Ryoko and Gabriel fought had mentioned something about them from the past along with some of them being older than any human could live.
"Gabriel, about what you heard that was directed at me, Ryoko, Ayeka, Sasami, Mihoshi and Kiyone. The aspects about us not being from earth or not being human. We got something to tell you about that but just don't freak out when we tell you. We all should explain to you now that it's like they've said: The cat's out of the bag." Washu explained.
"I think I can be alright with that. My mom had to break some shocking news to me before." said Gabriel showing understanding.
"Like what?" asked Washu curiously.
"Mainly crazy incidents or accidents or chaotic situations that were all over the news. Especially if it's something that wasn't too far away from home." said Gabriel with a hiccup.
Washu understood that Gabriel's mother meant well with what he just told her. She reached out to place her hand on his chest as she given him a compassionate expression. He was blushing again as his heart would race.
"Grazie per aver guarito il mio braccio." said Gabriel nervously.
She leaned in to plant her soft lips to his forehead and it left him surprised that he was kissed by Washu on his forehead. His shyness and fear was briefly striking him but for some reason, he didn't faint and his fear wasn't powerful. She smiled as Gabriel looked away from her, sensing he was afraid, she placed her hand on his left shoulder to console him of such fears.
"You know, if your afraid of someone or something, you can tell us." Washu gave a word of comfort. "I also know about Haruko."
Gabriel turned his head slowly to face Washu with alarm. She was the only one out of everyone else in the household that didn't know about Gabriel's love struck feelings towards this girl Haruko.
"How did you find out?" asked Gabriel looking alarmed.
"I heard you talking in your sleep about her or that you mentioned her name in your sleep." Washu admitted. "And I found out from my dream scanner."
"Dream scanner?" Gabriel said confused. "What's a dream scanner?"
"It's this machine where I place a helmet and goggles on you, it scans your brainwaves and the activity of your brain as you sleep. Than what ever your dreaming of will appear on a big screen like a movie projector to a big screen." Washu explained to him.
Gabriel looked at her for a moment and this was the first time he understood what she told him when she explained something to him.
"Is it normal that I understood that? I mean I'm good with school and get good grades and all but someone as intelligent as you. I never really expected to understand anything that you say or do because from what little has been said, your the brains of the group under this one roof." Gabriel told her fearing he insulted her.
"It's about as normal as giving teenagers the talk about sex." Washu reassured.
He let out a sigh of relief.
"To be honest. I expected you to have a crush on Ryoko." Washu stated.
Gabriel let out a surprised cough that was probably an attempt to hide a chuckle and he looked a bit embarrassed to hear what she said.
"What gave you that idea?" asked Gabriel with a nervous chuckle.
"Well, on the screen, when I scanned your dream with my machine. I saw what Haruko looks like and she shares a striking resemblance to Ryoko, despite some small differences to her appearance." Washu answered.
"Well, I talked to Ryoko about Haruko already but I didn't tell her that she sort of looks like her. I'll admit, I've warmed up to Ryoko and her wild child behavior but I know that she's wanting to be Tenchi's girl, or one of his girls. Six young women in the house, I don't know if other guys should be jealous of him or advise him to lock his bedroom door at night." Gabriel explained.
Washu seemed to understand what Gabriel told her and what he meant. Him assuming that Ryoko or one of the ladies of the house or all of them were in a dating relationship with Tenchi yet Washu felt like her heart was beating for Tenchi, yet her heart was also beating for Gabriel as well. Her heart felt romantically involved with Tenchi but could she both felt romantically involved with Gabriel or was her feelings more of a maternal feeling.
"But I'll admit, since everything with Halibel went south, one, my mom doesn't trust any girl I like, two, I really like Haruko. Other guys might just see her as a person they want to get in her pants but I'm not like that. I know behind those good looks, there's a big, powerful brain and a big, warm, compassionate heart. My mom taught me that a gentlemen doesn't strike a lady. I'll even say that even Ryoko is nice to me, despite her comedic and chaotic antics, I've warmed up to her. But when it comes to girls, it's like all of my confidence goes down faster than the Titanic. I just got no confidence when it comes to girls." Gabriel went on.
Washu seemed to feel like a light bulb had turned on in her head. Now she knew why Gabriel was the way he is around the women in the house. She smiled and pulled him in her arms to hug him which had Gabriel not expecting to be hugged right than and there after he told her how he felt about women or even the woman he's in love with. He nearly expected her to be laughing at him but she wasn't laughing.
"Awww Gabriel, you're like Tenchi in a different way." said Washu sweetly. "A gentlemen with a big heart who doesn't want to hurt anyone. You must really like this girl."
"Ryoko believes I need a confidence boost and a little help with working up the courage to even talk to her without choking up. I understand she wants to help but why do I feel like I should be worried?" asked Gabriel.
"Ryoko's methods, well, her methods on anything can range from effective in it's own way to a bit chaotic in a comedic fashion." said Washu truthfully. "But her methods differ from one situation to another."
"That doesn't sound comforting." Gabriel gulped. "But hopefully, her methods don't lead to anything crazy. She got Halibel off my back so maybe her methods are not that wild."
Washu knew that Ryoko can be a bit crazy with her wild child antics but she didn't want to discourage Gabriel. Gabriel had gotten out of the bed and Washu gotten a change of clothes for him that probably came from his bag.
"Miss Washu? Could I get some privacy or possibly you turn around? I don't think you want to see me naked." Gabriel kindly advised.
Washu obeyed and turned around to look away from him. Gabriel took some time to put on the clothing as he removed the clothing he was currently wearing and he placed on the new pair of underwear, than his blue jean pants, than a black T-shirt with a gold colored lion's head and face printed on the front, than a pair of white socks and his boots he still had with him, he already went to lace up his shoe laces and he was dressed up in no time.
"All clear." called Gabriel.
Washu turned around to see Gabriel was dressed but she also knew it was time to tell everyone how Gabriel's arm is healing up and how she treated his arm.
"Gabriel, when we talk to everyone how your forearm got treated. It's best I tell them. Even though I was told not to use you as a guinea pig for any of my experiments or science projects for the sake of not worrying your mother. I don't want to burden you with telling them about what I did. Since I'm the one who used a method that no one on earth uses to heal anyone of injuries, wounds or diseases. I know that Tenchi, his father and his grandpa would advise me not to use the method I already used on you, so if anyone has to tell them, it's going to be me. I don't want to put that burden on you." Washu kindly advised.
"Are you sure? I don't want you getting into trouble for this." Gabriel asked.
"I'm the one who injected you with that serum that's forever altered your health, your body, your DNA and everything inside and outside fundamentally. I'm responsible for this, I may get an earful for it but I know how to break the news to them gently so no one freaks out. And if we have to talk to your mother about this, well, than we'll break it to her gently and be there to make sure that she doesn't fly off the handle too much." Washu told him looking serious.
He didn't like the sounds of it but knew there was no talking Washu out of it. He knew she was right since she did use a scientific resource to heal him of his injury and there was no arguing against it.
"Yes ma'am." Gabriel sighed.
The two were walking out of the room and walking around in the lab to find their way back to the house while Washu gabbed hold of his hand as she lead the way.
Meanwhile, in the living room
Everyone was waiting for Washu to bring Gabriel back up to see if he was alright. Tenchi, Nobuyuki and Yōshō were worried about how he'd heal up from his injury or from how Gabriel's mother would react seeing him with an injury to his arm with a cast wrapped around his left forearm. Ryoko knew that Washu did something to heal his arm up faster but worried how Tenchi would react if he knew she gave Washu permission to do so yet at the same time she wanted to hug Gabriel as she started to grow fond of him. Ayeka and Sasami were worried for the same reasons Tenchi, Nobuyuki and Yōshō were worried as well as Mihoshi and Kiyone.
"If Washu and Gabriel come up. I'm hoping that he still has his arm or Aunt Angelina will probably kill us all." Nobuyuki said with a panic in his voice.
"Calm down, Nobuyuki. She won't kill us but we can explain it to her gently so she won't erupt like Mount Vesuvius." Yōshō calmly told him.
"I'm sure he'll be fine. We've all had injuries before and thanks to Washu, we turned out alright, didn't we?" Ryoko said stretching her back. "I can't wait to hug the little man, he probably could use a huggie wuggie."
"With his arm being what it is. You'll have to be careful with your grip." Tenchi warned.
"Whaaaat? What kind of woman do you think I am, big boy?" chuckled Ryoko.
Ryoko looked at Tenchi as she was about to jump forwards to him to pin him to hug him but with a bit of quick thinking, he was alarmed but he dodged her. Ryoko crashed into Ayeka, causing them both to land on the floor with a loud thud.
"Get off of me!" cried Ayeka annoyed.
"To be fair, I was going for Tenchi, not you!" Ryoko snapped back.
Ryoko rolled off Ayeka as both of them got up on their feet. They were about to get into another one of their typical bickering brawls till they heard the door to Washu's lab open and they stopped their little heated cat fight. They all saw Washu come out and they all were worried, on edge and both Ryoko and Ayeka forgotten what their little spat was.
"Washu, how is he?" asked Tenchi looking worried.
"Before you see anything. Just so you know, I got some explaining to do once you see Gabriel." Washu warned. "Come on out, Gabriel."
They saw Gabriel walk through the open door and into the living room. He had shown them his left arm. It wasn't covered in bandages, no plaster made cast, no stitches. His left forearm was looking to be completely fine. He moved his hands and fingers like there was no injuries at all, he tapped his left forearm and he didn't wince, groan, scream, flinch or grunt in pain. He had shown he was completely alright as if the injury and damages to his arm never happened. This left everyone but Ryoko wide eyed with shock with their jaws dropping.
"But his arm! There's no damages!" said a shocked Nobuyuki.
"But how!?" Yōshō asked.
Tenchi looked at Washu, now curious and worried at the same time.
"Washu, what did you just do?" Tenchi asked in alarm.
"I healed his injury completely." answered Washu.
"But how?" Tenchi, Yōshō and Nobuyuki asked in unison.
Washu and Gabriel looked at each other and knew that they had a right to know. They looked right at them as Washu let out a sigh.
"I injected him with a serum that would make the healing process faster than any human would ever experience. All swellings, cuts, bruises, scars, any internal body damages and damages to the outside of his body would heal almost instantly. The flesh wounds inside and out healed up faster than I predicted but the damages to the bones took at least a few hours or more." Washu explained in more details.
"You injected him with what?" Tenchi asked confused and alarmed.
"Now lets not freak out. Sure, I could've done surgical procedures on his arm but he was so terrified out of his mind about the prospect of doing surgery to his arm and Ryoko was worried how afraid it was going to make him so Ryoko gave me permission to heal him in any other way I could that wouldn't terrify him as much." Washu continued.
Hearing that Ryoko gave Washu permission to heal Gabriel of his injured arm in any other way she pleased left them in alarm but slight exasperation.
"Ryoko!" Tenchi said annoyed.
"Would you have rather had him in a cast and his mother find out, freak out, and we'd all be in the dog house when your aunt finds out or would you rather have Washu use a faster solution that heals him up faster as if it never happened and make sure she doesn't know so she won't kill us? Besides, I couldn't see him go through anymore pain when I saw that look on his little face." Ryoko argued.
"Silenzio!" Gabriel cried sharply.
Everyone had indeed went silent and looked right at Gabriel and Washu.
"I know you guys are afraid of how my mom will react if anything happens to me, if we did anything that she's against that isn't really a big deal, or if I do something she believes is dangerous when it's really just harmless fun. This is something we shouldn't be arguing about. It's obvious Ryoko suggested Washu try healing my arm her way because she cares about my well being and didn't want me in pain anymore which I got to agree, that injury to my arm hurt like hell and I kind of am glad that Ryoko let Washu have permission to do so. Washu obviously did what she did to help me because she's actually a scientist that cares unlike the scientists on this earth where most of them are like cold hearted, emotionless robots. She healed me of my arm and I'm not ashamed of how she did it, there's nothing we can do about it now. What's done is done. It's over. I feel fine and I'm not losing a minute of sleep over it." Gabriel kindly but sternly explained to them.
They were all shocked and wide eyed to see Gabriel take charge. It was like Gabriel standing up to a bully at school. They all were starting to realize that he was right. They can't do anything about how his arm is fully healed up and arguing about it out of concern with how his mother will react was a bit childish but they knew that it's possible they didn't have to tell his mother about it. They let out a sigh while Ryoko came over to him. Gabriel looked at her and felt a tinge of fear setting in but he was standing his ground. Without warning, she smiled and pulled Gabriel in for a hug, pressing his face to her noticeably big and full breasts. Now he was shocked at how Ryoko took this.
"That's my little man. That's the confidence I've been waiting to see in you. I knew there was confidence in you that was just screaming to come out." said Ryoko showing how proud she felt.
"I got to admit. I didn't like having to come down on anyone like a hurricane but all this fuss over how my mom would freak the heck out over something like how my arm got healed or anything my mom told me I shouldn't do because she feels it's too dangerous when it's something as harmless as playing golf on a golf course. I couldn't take it anymore. I love my mom but I'm tired of her overprotective nature getting in the way of me exploring the world, doing more with my life or even worrying about me getting killed by a harmless paper cut to the finger. I want to be able to do more with my life without my mom baby proofing everything." Gabriel said now with a kinder demeanor. "I'm sorry I came down on all of you."
"It's alright Gabriel." said Tenchi calmly.
"I know people who are younger are expected to learn from their elders but every once in a while, we got to learn from the children." Yōshō stated with a calm tone.
They all nodded and understood. This was surprising to Gabriel. He expected hostile reactions but saw understanding reactions.
"We also got something to explain to Gabriel and we can't hide it no more from him." Washu pointed out.
Washu began to explain to them what it was they had to explain to Gabriel when the assailant they took down mentioned something about the women's origins that were not from earth.
First, Ryoko explained to Gabriel about her past when she used to be a space pirate hundreds of years ago and revealed to him her real age, even if she looked to be in her twenties from the looks of it. She explained her powers and how they work. She even explained about Ryo-Ohki being her able to transform from the appearance she is to her spacecraft when going up into space.
Ayeka and Sasami explained their origins as Ayeka princess from another far away planet, how her age meant that she too was older than any other human could ever dream of living and that Sasami is her sister. Sasami explained how she used to be known by a different name but came back as someone else after her previous self had been in an accident and passed on but retained her original appearance but is under a different name which she'll have the choice of choosing who she'll want to be when she grows older.
Washu explained that she's a mad scientist from another galaxy but she was more of a compassionate person than a crazy person when she met Tenchi and the rest of them. She revealed to him her real age as she too was older than any human could ever live, she even revealed how she was married at one point and had a baby biologically but the family her husband was from were not too keen on two different social statuses interacting which lead to her baby being taken away from her. She told him she was locked away as a statue for a while but was freed by Mihoshi. She even said to Gabriel how she may be a bit comically wacky at times but she always knows what she's doing.
Kiyone and Mihoshi explained that they're police officers but not the type to be from earth. They explained they're both intergalactic police officers from another galaxy with a different superior. How they were assigned to earth which they sometimes don't always get along but they know they do care for one another. They even talked about how they became each others police officer partner when on the job and what they're doing on earth.
They explained a lot of about their escapades through out life which all of this was a lot for Gabriel to take in. Finding out these women were not from earth but from another planet or galaxy or both, being older than any human on earth should be but all looking like they could pass as women in their twenties while Washu and Sasami could pass as teenagers.
After explaining everything to him. He was silent, looking surprised in a stoic emotion on his face. He looked at every lady in the room and suddenly started to think that if they were different long before meeting Tenchi but now they are who they are and they are different than they used to be after meeting Tenchi, than a lot must've happened within the time they've all known each other.
"Gabriel?" said Tenchi.
He was silent and didn't respond.
"Uhhhh Gabriel?" said Mihoshi.
Gabriel was silent again, still not responding as they started to worry.
"Do you think this was all too much for him?" asked Yōshō looking concerned.
Ryoko suddenly gotten an idea in mind as she smiled and planted her soft lips to Gabriel's forehead and both his cheeks. This caused him to blush and snap back to reality.
"So let me get this straight. The six young women in this house, seven if you count Ryo-Ohki. That all the women in the house are intergalactic young women not from earth or this solar system?" said Gabriel slowly grasping it.
"Big time." said the women in unison.
"Ryoko being five thousand years old but looks like she's close to Tenchi's age and Ryo-Ohki being a crossbreed of two animals that can turn from what she looks like now to a spacecraft?" Gabriel pointed out.
"You know it." Ryoko agreed.
Ryo-Ohki let out a meow and nodded in agreement.
"Ayeka being an intergalactic princess from another planet far from here and her younger sister, who could take on the throne if she wants to, used to be someone else, passed on in an accident, and now is someone else but her old self is inside her like a soul?" Gabriel pointed out again.
"Confirmed?" Ayeka agreed.
"A bit of a shocker but yes." Sasami agreed.
"Washu being a mad intergalactic scientist whose more of the kind and compassionate type, is over twenty thousand years old but she looks much younger than that, doing a lot of experiments and is the brains of the group. Her past having some hardships like she's said, which I'm sorry that happened, yet her experiments, inventions and projects are often for the greater good but some times have a set back?" said Gabriel pointing it out.
"Hard for me to admit but yes. And you're a sweet boy for showing some compassion." Washu agreed.
"And Kiyone and Mihoshi are police officers of a different district, precinct or ether one but from another galaxy. Kiyone being the serious and rational lady while Mihoshi, often means well, focuses on positivity but is a bit clumsy and sometimes makes someone laugh?" Gabriel stated.
"Correct." said Kiyone.
"Hard to believe but yes." Mihoshi admitted.
Gabriel's face turned from shock, confusion and than a smile. What was going through his mind right now?
"If I didn't see Ryoko display some of her powers, Washu's lab, her serum healing me much faster than it should, and from the encounter of that misogynistic space inmate. Than I would've been skeptic like the non-believers in a horror film and the non-believers never make it to the sequel." Gabriel said looking interested. "Young women from another planet or galaxy. A lot to take in but super cool."
They all expected him to be shocked or to faint but he wasn't shocked, he didn't faint but he was thrilled.
"Makes me wonder if he's still afraid of the ladies of the house." teased Ryoko.
Ryoko briefly tickled Gabriel's sides as it caused him to laugh and squirm a bit. She would kiss him on his cheeks a bit which caused him to blush and let out a hiccup.
"I see someone was worried about me." Gabriel nervously stated.
"I know you like it when I'm affectionate." chuckled Ryoko.
Ayeka started to appear annoyed as she felt as though it was probably early for Ryoko to be rough housing when Gabriel had been healed of his injury by Washu's advanced scientific methods. Ryoko playfully made air kisses to Gabriel which got him to blush and chuckle.
"Can you at least give him some room to breathe? He just recovered from a terrible injury after knocking down that ruffian you used to date." Ayeka said annoyed.
"I don't date that psycho anymore whose now back in prison and your just jealous that he's getting more attention from me." teased Ryoko.
"I am not!" groaned Ayeka. "You're probably squeezing him too hard."
"Princess jealously is having a jealously overload." joked Ryoko.
"You're so annoying, right now! He probably prefers someone whose gentler with him instead of some aggressive old mummy." Ayeka insulted with a chuckle.
Ryoko blushed and looked hostile as she had steam blowing out of her ears as her face turned red with rage.
"Your mouth is bigger than your ass but your breath smells worse than your farts, princess." snapped Ryoko.
The two gave each other hostile expressions and looked as though they were in a fight about which one of them Gabriel preferred to snuggled by but they heard what sounded like a small but loud enough to hear sound that was that of the sound of a mini sea ship's foghorn. This got the two girls to stop arguing.
They both turned to see the source of the sound came from Yōshō as he had what looked like a hand sized air horn. He put the air horn away as he placed it in his pocket and cleared his throat.
"Now that I got your attention. Anymore arguing or fighting today and you'll be doing more chores around the shrine and the house till the end of the day and you do remember if one isn't in the best of shape, it'll be like hard labor like building a pyramid the size of a building and you do know how back breaking that labor can be." Yōshō warned.
Not only did this apply to everyone else but even Ryoko and Ayeka could tell the wise, older male was serious since they've been through such a situation once or twice when their bickering did get too chaotic. Everyone, even Ryoko and Ayeka let out a sigh and nodded. Both Ryoko and Ayeka showed a hint of fear but understood he was serious.
"Yes sir!" everyone said in unison.
A very loud growl like gurgling sound was heard which they all were wide eyed with curiosity. They wonder if someone had let one rip which Ryoko chuckled.
"Ayeka, was that you?" Ryoko giggled.
"That wasn't me and it wasn't that sound." Ayeka groaned.
"That wasn't a fart and even if it was. I've heard people usually blame their farts on a dog." Washu stated.
"But we don't have a dog." Sasami pointed out.
"We have Ryo-Ohki but I know that wasn't her." Ryoko stated.
"That was my stomach." Gabriel chimed in.
They turned to see Gabriel and they saw that the gurgling sound came from his stomach as the sound was heard again. Ryoko placed her hand on his stomach and felt the vibrations that was his stomach growling.
"Definitely him." chuckled Ryoko. "The lion must be hungry when he hasn't hunted in a while."
"Before I'm doing anything else. I need to use the lion's- I mean boy's room. Unless you want me to go in my pants and get it all over the floor like Niagara Falls." Gabriel informed.
Gabriel suddenly slipped out of Ryoko's arms easily and ran for the bathroom at such fast speeds that it was as if he could run faster than he usually would when running as fast as he could, it looked like he ran faster than any normal human being on earth ever could. They were all surprised that he ran at such superhuman fast speed limit. Tenchi looked at Washu with shock.
"Did he just run to the bathroom at superhuman speed?" asked Tenchi.
"Affirmative." answered Washu looking as though she was expecting this.
"What was in that serum and what will it do to him?" asked Nobuyuki looking alarmed.
"It was meant to accelerate his healing abilities to that of superhuman capabilities, almost instantly.
