(Start Evan the Unknown Island)
"Come on where are you guys?" Evan asked in a huff as he was searching for his missing friends while brushing passed a large leaf. For about an hour, the demon hunter had been searching the island for his friends and Clarisse who were all MIA at the moment. So far, all he's found was exotic plants, flowers, the occasional wild animal, and stream. In short, he found a whole lot of nothing; however, one good thing to come out of this was that he had yet to bump into any Olympian monsters or any devils in the area save for the last run in.
It was one of those times Evan wish he had a Devil Bringer of his own like Nero's. The Devil Bringer acted as a detector for Demonic Power so it made sense that Evan could use it to track Furfur, Corvus, and Fenrir and with them his friends. But that plan was dead end on its own so here he was stuck passing trees that were growing exotic fruit. But Evan was anything if not stubborn it ran in the family after all so he wasn't one to sit down and give up so easily.
The only question he had was how long until he found the others. The Answer was funny enough, a while.
The Tri-Breed Devil Hunter continued through the jungle of the unknown island, brushing past some more leaves and branches until he suddenly stepped out into a clearing. Narrowing his eyes slightly at what he found. In a large clearing near the shore was a collection of numerous white buildings. It appeared to be a small town, however, Evan couldn't see that many people there, but what had most of his attention was the harbor that connected to the island. The harbor was filled with an assortment of ships, ranging from yachts to fishing vessels, even an 18th-century merchant ship.
Evan wasn't exactly the smartest guy in the world but even he knew that was a bad sign. Because if those ships were here, and this was an island then that means this island belongs to someone he'd rather not meet. "Oh crap this is Circe's island." Evan cursed realizing he was in some deep shit. "And that must be her place." Evan said realizing he was in some trouble now.
During his time in Camp Half-Blood and after leaving last summer, Evan made it a point to familiarize himself with all the figures in Greek history, losing some sleep in the process. Calisto had even sat him down to catch up on this information however it was well worth it in the end. From what he's read, Circe is the daughter of Helios, the Titan of the Sun, and Hecate, the Goddess of Magic, taking more after her mother, even becoming known as the Immortal Sorceress. That didn't really matter all that much to Nero as his main focus was on the fact that Circe turned her victims into animals. Getting turned into an animal was not something that was ever on his bucket list.
"Ok then exit stage left." Evan said as he turned around opting to check other parts of the island not having it in him to fight through hordes of woman. He'll come back later tonight to find his missing friends.
"Hello!" called a female voice, prompting Evan to look down and see a woman approaching.
"Fuck!" Evan cursed realizing he was spotted by the woman.
The woman was wearing a uniform of some kind, like the ones worn by flight attendants, but more suited for land. She had makeup on that was applied incredibly well, her brown hair tied back into a ponytail. Whoever this was approached the Demon Hunter with a dazzling smile, her white teeth glittering. In her hands was a clipboard. "Is this your first time with us?" inquired the lady as she looked to Evan curiously.
"Um yeah and no just looking for my friends. Have you seen them one of them has a hoodie and three pets and another has a massive cross." Evan said giving descriptions on his friends.
"Why yes actually they arrived not too long ago, though it was a group of four, three girls and one boy but the boy was unconscious." The woman explained and in turn that was all Evan needed to know here.
"Ok good I'll just see myself in and pick them up before they become Circe's victims." Evan said ready to head out and leave which cause the woman to stiffen when Evan said this.
She looked at him with a bit of surprise, hearing the mention of her lady, however, she shook it off. "R-Right, let's see." She began as she looking up and down the hunter. "A complete makeover for the-HEY!" She said but was cut off by Evan. The woman cried out in surprise when Evan snatched the clipboard from her hands and the pen she was using.
He gave her an annoyed look as he scribbled something down, "Listen, I don't have time for a spa day, and I think it would save us a lot of time and effort if you just took me to Circe and/or my friends." The son of Artemis said as he then finished what it was he was writing and shoved it back into the woman's hands, who looked completely taken back by the rudeness. "Pretty sure she'd want to know why I'm here or if you choose my friends they'd want to know I'm ok." Evan said as he wanted to get in get his friends and get the hell out.
"So if you're too slow to lead the way, I'll find just have to go find them all by myself." Evan snapped as he brushed on by her while he walked away.
With that, he headed right towards the settlement, leaving the woman completely shocked by the rudeness and how easily he brushed her off. Standing there for a moment, she looked down at her clipboard and saw what he wrote. Written in a form of cursive was the sentence 'Fuck You' right in the center of the page. The woman took a deep breath before turning on her heel and followed Nero.
It seemed this one was not like the others. But however unaware to any of them though it seems someone local and someone down south caught his scent. The ones who caught his scent were now on the hunt for Evan.
(Scene Break later Circe's Palace)
Evan was led towards the largest building, passing several interesting sights. Terraces climbed up the side of the mountain, with swimming pools on every level, connected by waterslides and waterfalls and underwater tubes one could swim through. Fountains sprayed water into the air, forming impossible shapes, like flying eagles and galloping horses. Of course, none of this concerned the Demon Hunter as he walked passed everything without so much as a glance.
Evan immediately took notice that many of the guests were women. Meaning that the animals were more than likely the males changed by Circe's magic.
Soon, the Demon Hunter was led up a staircase toward what he assumed were the 'hotel rooms,' where his friends were. As Evan walked he made sure to keep his senses on high alert while making sure his weapons were on hand for when he needed them. Because when it came down to it Evan will have to fight their way out of this place.
It wasn't long until they arrived at their destination and in turn the girl knocked on the door. "Excuse me." The woman said as she looked to the group inside. In turn Evan saw Kat, Annabeth, Patty, and Percy were gathered in the room with Percy waking up. "Your friend has arrived." She said and in turn Evan walked in causing the group to go wide eye in joy.
"Evan!" The group called out happy to see Evan was alive and well.
"Dude your alive!" Percy called out as the woman saw Percy was awake.
"Oh your awake I'll go let the others know." She said and began to walk away from the room.
"Where have you been?" Patty asked as Evan looked to them.
"I washed up on shore not too far from here got attacked by demons and then made my way here." Evan said as he looked to the group.
"That's great." Kat said happy to see Evan was alive and well.
"Now then I say it's time we all thank the nice ladies who work here and get the Hell out of here." Evan said as he looked to the group and in turn they gave him an odd look wondering why he was being paranoid about this.
"How come? The people have helped us so much." Patty said but before Evan spoke up.
"Well, Patty that's because." Evan began the explanation of Circe's island.
Just then the door opened and in turn the group looked and saw three ladies walk in. "Ah, good. You've awaken." The one in a black dress and black hair said.
"Oh fuck." Evan cursed as he realized he was a bit too late. He then focused himself and continued speaking. "Yeah we did." Evan said smirking as he kept Hunter and Slayer hidden in his coat with Elysium ready to draw at a moment's notice.
"Now we can begin your makeovers." She said as Evan heard this and didn't like the sound of it.
"Makeovers?" The girls all asked as both Annabeth and Kat were skeptical about this 'makeover,' but Patty seemed excited about it.
"Of course here at C.C.'s Resort and Spa, we help our client realize their full potential." C.C. said as Evan was just going to call her that for now.
"50 Drachma's say some people left with less the stellar results." Evan joked as Percy rolled his eyes to this.
"Don't you want to make the most of your talents?" C.C. asked as Joanna and Annabeth were caught off guard.
"Um." Annabeth began only for C.C. to cut in.
"Excellent. Hylla Lola give these young ladies here the V.I.P tour. Percy and Evan are both going to require my personal attention." C.C. said as Evan felt something was off here.
"Right this way ladies." Lola said as she and Hylla took Kat, Patty, and Annabeth out of the room leaving the boys alone in the room with C.C.
Once they were gone Evan looked to the woman and decided to look at her. "So what's so bad you need to give us your personal attention?" Evan asked as he had a quip to use. "Or was that all just for show and you wanted to get us alone for some 'adult,' talk." Evan flirted as C.C. chuckled at Evan's response.
"Dude really?" Percy asked as Evan shrugged with a smirk on his face. Evan's eyes of course laid upon the rodent cage nearby and saw hamsters in the cage in question.
"As much as that is funny I'm afraid you both need serious help." C.C. said as she headed to a mirror in the room. "But the first step is admitting that you're not happy the way you are." C.C. said to which Evan moaned in frustration to this.
"Oh great it's one of those Self Help book offers just throw me out the window lady and save me the suffering." Evan said as he sounded like he didn't want to be here for those things.
"It's not that my dear." C.C. said as her left eye began to twitch at Evan's quips. "Please come forward both of you." She said to which Percy shrugged and in turn he and Evan walked to the mirror. She then began to make a scolding tsk to Evan and Percy as they mirror began to glow. "Looks like you have some acne around your nose and a crooked tooth or two." C.C. said as Evan heard those while she directed it at Percy.
"Lady ever heard of puberty just get some face cream and braces and my best buddy here will all good as new." Evan said as C.C. was really starting to get annoyed with Evan.
"Then can you explain his unkept hair... clearly not natural." C.C. said as Evan saw this.
"We washed up on shore give us a break." Evan defended as the mirror seemed big enough for the both of them.
"Well clearly your skin is kept up to notch and I dare say you seem to actually be trying." C.C. said as Evan smirked to her.
"Must my by Devilish charm." Evan said as Percy heard this.
"And there is our problem, your wardrobe and attitude." C.C. said to which Evan noted. "Your hair is a natural white color but this bad boy persona doesn't suit you at least note completely." She said before the two images showed that Percy was in some spiffing clothing, slicked back hair, and a leather jacket. Evan on the other had to admit he looked like a true hunter at least of wild animals. Baggy pants, combat boots, a T-Shirt fit for the military, and a camo jacket. "Perhaps these will be to your liking." She offered as Evan was checking himself out as he noticed the, him in the image looked more respectful to authority.
"Ok I admit I can turn straight guy's gay and gay girls straight like that." Evan quipped as C.C. smirked a bit.
"Can you really do this?" Percy asked as he saw Evan was acting off for some reason.
"It's quite simple, really." She began as she got a shake ready for the two. "Just one of our patented shakeover's substituted for a regular meal. I can guarantee you'll see results immediately." C.C. said finishing up Evan's as she passed the drinks over to them.
"How is that possible?" Percy asked as Evan gave the drink a look.
"Why question a good thing?" C.C. asked as she looked to the two. "Evan, Percy the hardest part about a makeover is giving up control. You have to decide whose judgement you'd rather trust: yours or mine?" She asked to which the two boys looked to each other. They then proceed to tip the glasses down to their mouths as C.C. was behind them with an evil smirk. "Good choice." She said as Evan then stopped.
"NAH!" Evan called out and splashed the drink in C.C.'s face and managed to kick the drink out of Percy's hand and push him out of the way. Evan then spun around and pointed his guns at the girl as he smirked at her. "How stupid do you think I am Circe?" Evan asked as he looked to C.C. or Circe in this case.
"Wait...you knew?" She asked in shock as Evan smirked to her.
"Lady my Twin sister is an Umbra Witch so I know what magic looks like even if it's not demonic." Evan said as he looked to the shocked Circe.
"What Evan?" Percy asked to which Evan went to talking.
"Let me guess that drink was meant to turn me and Percy into rodents which are what the gerbils in that cage over there are, they are the other men who came your island." Evan said as he looked to Circe who was surprised Evan saw through her rouse. "Emphasis on men." Evan added as Circe then jumped back and blasted Evan with her magic. Evan dodged it and returned fire which Circe dodged as the bullets hit the window shattering it upon impact.
"Well then I suppose no need for this then half-bloods." Circe said as she began to summon her magic.
"Lady you chose a major shit spot to attack from all we have to do is either charge, you, and push you out the window or make some cover so we can get to the door and to freedom." Evan said as he looked to the Sorceress as he was taunting her as well.
"Sorry but I make it a habit not to let men leave my island." Circe said as Evan then smirked to her.
"To bad." Evan said as he smirked at his foe. "First time for everything." Evan said showing he wasn't going to five up so easily.
"Such an ill temper and filthy mouth." mused Circe while glaring at Evan. "I wonder what your makeover will be?" She asked while ready to take on Evan and Percy.
A snort of amusement came from the hunter. "Look lady, I'm not here for a spa day." Evan said as he looked to Circe.
In turn she blasted her magic at Evan who then dodged it and charged at her. When he did he jumped up and did a drop kick against her causing both of them to go out the window. As they fell Circe was wide eyed at this as Evan smirked at her.
"So wanna get hurt and ugly to kill me or you wanna look good when I win?" Evan taunted and in turn the two were gone in a flash of light.
(Later nearby)
The two ended up crashing into another room as it was clearly the main part of Circe's palace. AS the two rolled on the ground Evan glared at her once the separated from each other. "How dare you touch me boy!" Circe yelled as she glared at Evan with contempt.
"Oh don't be a wuss you wanna fight like a man then I'll fight you like a man." Evan said as he knew if this was posted online then it would cause a lot of hate mail his way but it served to piss off Circe.
"DIE!" Circe swore the sorceress as she raised her hands, blue fire emerged from her fingers and curled around Evan. However, the second they started, the hunter leaped into the air, performing a backflip. While in the air, he drew Hunter and Slayer and fired at the goddess. The woman let out a surprised yelp as she created a barrier, blocking the bullets.
"I've never met a Demi-God who uses Fire arms especially ones that utilize Celestial Bronze." Circe said as she looked at Evan with some amusement. "Oh I know who you are now, Evan Redgrave the Son of Artemis." Circe said as Evan looked to Evan.
"Yeah so I've heard." Evan said and in turn he began firing his bullets before heading over to cover as Circe did the same with her magic returning fire. The two hid behind cover as this was becoming more of a gun vs magic fight.
"Well, Evan, you are certainly something never seen before in the world of the gods. That bitch of a mother of yours finally spread her legs for a man, huh?" Circe said as Evan then scoffed at this.
"Trust me only in my dad's wet dreams." Evan said taking a jab at his father for that one. "They used Athena's method get it right you skank." Evan said as he was ready to move again.
Once they were ready the two moved again as Evan started by kicking an expensive coach straight at Circe. Seeing this used her magic to slice through it only to have Evan upon her using the couch as cover. He swung Elysium at Circe who then teleported out of the way causing Evan to slash into another piece of furniture. Evan then turned around and fired Slayer at Circe just as she reappeared. Circe seeing this ran for cover again before using her magic to lift her furniture for it.
"I wonder how she feels about you, seeing as you are the one thing she despises in the world." Circe taunted only to move again when Evan slashed Elysium down destroying her spot of cover.
"Fuck you bitch I've already dealt with that shit." Evan countered as he wasn't going down that self-doubt rabbit hole into sad Disney Wonderland parody known only as depression land. "I suggest you back off while you can." Evan said ready to kick this Goddess's ass. "Otherwise I'm gonna have to disappoint mom and off you." Evan said glaring at Circe. Evan landed on the ground, his boots letting out a heavy echo when he landed back down. He took aim again and aimed his guns at Circe who had her magic ready to use on him.
"You want to kill me, boy? You can't kill me! I've lived for far too long to be killed!" Medusa yelled as Evan then laughed at that one.
"Does that explain why you look old enough to be the grandmother of the Titans?" Evan taunted and in turn smirked at Circe for his taunt.
"Fuck you!" Circe yelled angrily as she spitefully glared at Evan.
"Fuck you!" Evan countered as he glared at the Minor Goddess of Magic.
"FUCK! YOU!" Circe yelled firing her magic at Evan only for Evan to charge at her with Elysium. The tip of the sword met her magic blast halfway before both cancelled each other out wrecking the massive room in Circe's own palace.
The two then parted as they in turn began their battle against each other. Evan swung Elysium against Circe who responded by using her magic for close-range melee to parry the weapon. Evan then jumped back and began firing his guns at the Minor Goddess to which Circe responded by creating a shield with her magic to block the bullets.
Evan then switched over to Osiris and went at Circe with his weapon swinging the scythe around at her. Seeing the blade coming at her Circe began to try and keep her distance from it knowing how much it will hurt if she is hit by Evan's Devil Arm Weapon. The two continued their duel as they tried to overpower the other in this battle. But just then as Evan swung Osiris his grip tightened and in turn Osiris mid swing became Arbiter and thus he broke through Circe's shield as she was expecting the scythe not the axe weapon.
Circe went flying from the hit and hit one of the reflective walls in her palace shattering it to shards. Evan then used his Ophion Lift and yanked Circe out of the hole before he began to swing her around. Circe was wide eyed in panic as Evan was overpowering her right now knowing she needed to chance the tides back in to her favor. She then was freed from the weapon as Evan sent her flying to the sky as she cried out in shock from the improve flight. But as Circe came back down she sent a blast of magic at Evan who then dodged it but had to run as the blast seemed to follow him about. As Evan ran he then jumped and spun before shooting Circe with his guns and with her distracted the bullets hit her and caused the blast to stop and vanish.
Once Evan saw this he used the Ophion Pull and dragged Circe back to the ground before he pulled her torts him. Circe was wide eyed by this as she came straight at Evan who had Elysium at the read. Just before Evan could slash through her Circe vanished in a flash as she had a new idea to use. In turn she reappeared and blasted Evan with her magic before vanishing again. She reappeared at another spot and hit Evan again giving him zero chance to retaliate using a hit and run tactic here.
Evan growled at this as he tried to predict her next move. In turn he sighed and closed his eyes to focus on his instincts. He knew there was a pattern and he just had to find it and exploit it. He then smirked and just as Circe appeared he blocked her attack with Elysium. He then took out Slayer and fired it just as Circe appeared again narrowly missing her as she managed to dodge the bullet last second.
The two looked ready to continue their battle as Evan smirked at Circe who clutched her newly created bullet wound. "Dammit." Circe cursed as she glared at Evan ready to kill the Tri-Breed before her.
But just when they were about to go at it again one of Circe's servants ran in clearly in a panic. "Lady Circe we're under attack!" She yelled as Circe was wide eyed at this.
"What?!" Circe asked shocked to hear what one of her servants had just said.
(Scene Break Percy during the fight)
After Evan had knocked Circe out of the window he ran over to the ledge and found the two were gone not to long after. "Evan!" Percy cried out as he looked for his friend.
Just then Kat, Annabeth, and Patty ran in after kicking down the door. "Percy what's going on?!" Annabeth called out as she and the girls ran into the room.
"Cici was actually Circe and Evan went off to fight her!" Percy called out as he looked to the three girls.
"I should have known." Annabeth cursed herself as Kat looked to them with great concern.
"We need to find Evan and get out of here." Kat said and in turn Patty had a thought when she remembered Hermes elixirs.
"We need a distraction." Patty said as she then looked to the gerbils in the cage. "And I think we have one." Patty said and in turn Annabeth saw Patty's plan and then smiled.
(Later outside)
Patty, Annabeth, Kat, and Patty were running out of the resort as they were being followed by a group of Pirates. It was clear they were confused but also aware of what had happened to them and in turn were not very happy about it. "Guys here!" Patty called as she slammed her cross down and passed to everyone a gun. To Annabeth she gave to Uzi's, to Percy he was given a revolver, and for Kat a shotgun.
"Thanks Patty!" Percy called out and in turn Percy picked up her weapon again and smiled to her group of friend.
"Let's go find Evan!" Kat called out and in turn the group was on the move once more to find Evan and get off this island.
As they ran they made sure not to cause too much harm to Circe's followers as the Pirates were doing as Pirates do. Burn, Pillage, and Rape yet the four children didn't stay long for the rape to happen. As they continued to fight their way through it was evident they were more focused on finding Evan and getting out knowing he may very well be in the thrall of Circe herself by now.
A few of Circe's followers noticed them and in turn tried to stop them only for Percy to fire off the gun Patty gave him. Annabeth came next as she made sure to keep any physical harm to a minimum. It wasn't long until Corvus, Fenrir, and Furfur came out summoned by Kat and began their own offensive attack.
"COME GET SOME!" Corvus roared out as he flew around sending down bolts of electricity upon the Pirates and Circe's followers.
Fenrir charged in and bit down on a Pirates arm freezing it with his fangs alone before tearing the arm off and tossing it aside. He snarled when more came in and began to attack them all with deep hatred. Furfur merely stayed on the defensive as he fought against the enemies while covering for his friends both demonic and demigod. The battle continued as the group were hoping Evan would make a dramatic entrance so they can head to the boats and leave now.
But just then something began to happen to the area. The ground shook as something or someone was smashing through the place with a destination in mind. It wasn't long until the nearby wall exploded and from it a large demonic figure came from the hole he had just made. Its arms were covered in flames as the rest of him was adorned with royal armor of a demonic origin. A demonic tattered cape billowed behind him as despite its look it still held that air of royalty to it.
His head was adorned with a demonic horned helmet that had a crown melded in. He then turned to the group showing his demonic crimson eyes being the only visible thing of his face. He glared at them and stood in their way when he saw Patty among them but no Evan. Regardless he found one the other shouldn't be that far behind by now.
"Patty Lowell." The Demon spoke as it glared at Patty who stepped back cautiously when she saw the Demon appear. "You will come with me, you and the Sparda child are needed for an important task." The Demon said as he faced the Demigod Group.
"Sorry I don't go with strangers unless my parents legit knows them." Patty said as she glared at the demon.
"Then I shall take you by force Patty Lowell." The Demon said as he got ready to carry out his threat against the Demigod group.
"Over my dead body!" Percy yelled as he glared at the Demon who glared back.
"Very well." The Demon said but before he could charge Elysium came flying in and stabbing the Demon in the side causing it pain. In turn Evan landed on his sword before grabbing the handle and yanking it off. As Evan flew for a sec he flipped before landing in front of his friends smirking to them while glaring at the newly arrived demonic foe.
"Hey guys sorry I was late I had to entertain Circe." Evan said as he looked to his Demigod friends while he smirked at them.
"Better late than never right man?" Percy asked as he smiled at Evan timely arrival.
Evan then smiled before getting back on task. "You guys better duck and cover things are about to get crazy." Evan said and getting the memo Percy, and the three girls ran to find some cover and get themselves a boat off Circe's island. Seeing that his friends were ok Evan directed his attention to the newly arrived demon. "Now for this guy." Evan said as he made his way torts the large demon while sheathing Elysium. "You know coming after a lady like this is kind of rude, maybe you should start learning how to properly talk to one." Evan said as he glared at the demon despite it towering a good 2 feet over him.
"I am here to complete a task and good fortune for me that that you are also a target of my task." The Demon said as Evan chuckled a bit in response to the Demon.
"I see just like the last guy only no Limbo this time." Evan said as he scratched his head some. "Well then what does your boss want with me and Patty?" Evan asked all but challenging the Demon before him.
"That is information for his machinations alone." The Demon responded as Evan sighed while smirking.
"Jeez same with the last guy vague answers that leave me with no actual answers." Evans aid showing he had dealt with this sort of thing a lot as is. "Alright then since it's obvious I won't come quietly and I sure as hell won't let you take Patty anytime soon how about we skip the monologue and get straight to the ass kicking." Evan challenged as he looked to the still nameless Demon here.
"Very well then child of Sparda, I am Eryx King of Hellfire and I will end your defying nature and bring you to my master!" Eryx called out pointing an accusing finger at the Hunter.
"Well then I got a name to put on your tome stone then." Evan taunted as he then got a few test punches in. "I can see it now here lies Eryx they grew him big where he came from." Evan taunted as he was ready to kick ass. "Well then let's do this." Evan said taking a battle stance ready to kick some ass.
In turn the two began to do battle as Evan started off by firing upon Eryx. Eryx showed himself to be formidable as the bullets bounced off him with ease. In response Eryx charged at Evan his fists blazing as Evan was forced to dodge the attacks from the Demon. The battle progressed as Evan then charged in with Elysium using his stinger to do some damage. Once he did so he opted to use Air Rave against the Demon. The attack did some damage and thus Evan jumped back and smirked at Eryx.
Eryx then jumped up and slammed his fist to the ground causing a shockwave from it. Evan was blasted back from it but managed to fix himself where he slid on the ground. Evan then grinned at his foe at that surprise attack itching to kick this demons ass. Evan proceeded to charge in and switched to Osiris going for a few fast hits before jumping back to avoid a counter attack from the demon. In turn Evan began using hit and run tactics as he attacked the Demon for a bit before jumping back and repeating the tactic. This carried on for a time until Eryx slammed his fists together and smashed them into the ground causing a shock wave that blasted Evan back.
Evan responded by sending his Ophion Lift at the Demon and pulled himself back torts it. Once he got close enough he jumped over and started shooting Eryx before landing on the other side of the demon. Once Evan got to the other side he switched to Arbiter and smashed the Demons back with it sending Eryx falling to the ground with a slam. Once this was done Evan used his Ophion Lift to get to the sky and then as he came down he had Arbiter ready to slam down upon the demon.
Eryx seeing this acted fast and flipped to his back avoiding the attack. Arbiter slammed to the ground and in turn Evan acting fast swung Arbiter at Eryx who blocked it with his left arm. Once this was done Eryx punched Evan sending him flying back where he crashed through a bungalow making a hole. Once this was done Evan rubbed the pain from his head only to go wide eyed when he saw Eryx coming straight at him.
"CRAP!" Evan cried out and in turn used the Ophion Lift to head upward and to some higher ground. Eryx punched then building destroying it with his power alone. Evan then came down and fired Hunter and Slayer upon Eryx who was hit by the bullets. When Eryx looked he then cried out in pain when Evan was upon him before slashing the Demon across the face with Elysium creating a gash upon Eryx own face. "Sorry did that hurt?" Evan began as he landed on the ground with a smirk. "Sure looked like it did." Evan added as Eryx glared at Evan in pure contempt.
Eryx then roared out and discarded his cape before charging at Evan. Evan had little time to react as he was punched and sent into the wall by Eryx who didn't let up. When they hit the wall Evan fell through and acted fast to get out of there. He fired his shotgun at Eryx in the face causing him great pain as he stumbled back from the hunters attack. Once that was done Evan pulled himself torts Eryx face with the Ophion lift and began hacking and slashing up Eryx injured face with Elysium. As Evan landed on the ground again he smirked as Eryx stumbled about in pain before glaring straight at Evan.
Just then out of nowhere Corvus appeared and began attacking Eryx as he laughed all the way. "SMILE FOR THE BIRDIE!" Corvus laughed as he attacked Eryx who tried to fight off the Demon bird. Just then Corvus pulled back just before a rocket flew at Eryx face and exploded upon impact causing the demon a great deal of pain.
As Eryx stumbled back Evan looked and saw Patty and Kat had joined the battle. "Hey ladies what's up?!" Evan called out with a grin at seeing his two friends.
"Helping!" Kat called out and in turn she took a battle stance ready for combat.
"Alright just don't get in the way." Evan said as he was ready to fight.
"Come on Evan who do you take us for, Enzo?" Patty asked and thus Evan smirked to mirror Patty's own smirk.
In turn the two charged into battle as they went for the frontal assault. Kat started by unleashing Fenrir from her buckler as he charged in and attacked Eryx. Once that was done Fenrir jumped back and fired a shot of ice from his maw with an accompanied roar. Eryx was hit and in turn Fenrir was about to get hit until Corvus came in for his icy friend.
"Yoink!" Corvus called out as he took Fenrir in his talons to safety while laughing.
Eryx then sent an attack at Kat who then his behind her buckler only for Furfur to come out and form a shield of his own body to protect Kat. Kat was surprised as this as his head was in front of her blinking before tilting to the side and blinking before the Demigod again. Once the attack ended Evan came in with Arbiter and slammed it upon Eryx head destroying his helmet with ease. Evan then landed a bit away and regrouped with Patty and Kat as Eryx stumbled about grabbing his head in pain from Evan's last attack.
Soon the heat began to rise up and in turn Eryx glared at the group from between his fingers. He then roared out freeing his head showing that it was in fact a burning skull of hellfire like the Ghost Rider. The main difference was of course that the skull in question had fangs and horns as opposed to being just a burning human skull.
"Now that is a face only a mother could love." Evan said as he looked to Eryx with a smirk.
Eryx roared in fury and began to swing wildly at the trio showing he had gone completely berserk right now. As he went on the offensive the trio scattered as Kat jumped off a broken bit of wall and was caught by Corvus who held onto her buckler. From there she took out her shot gun and fired it off at Eryx face causing the shell to spread about the large demons face. Eryx roared out as it was clear the head weakness wasn't working anymore like it did before.
Patty nearby fired her weapons mini gun as the ground was being littered with empty bullet casings from the shots. AS she swept about Eryx she tried to find a weakness they could exploit here but so far found none. Eryx then glared at Patty and thus she went wide eyed to this in turn.
"Uh-oh." Patty said before she ran for cover firing at Eryx with an Uzi in one hand and a handgun in her other hand. As she ran Eryx gave chase to Patty while she ran for cover to avoid Eryx and the demons unleashed wrath. While she ran Evan came in and slashed at the demon's leg with Osiris causing Eryx to trip and stumble as he began to space out from that one attack.
"Bingo we got a weakness!" Evan called out with a cocky grin on his face.
Patty and Kat seeing this knew where to aim and thus got to work. Kat let Corvus and Furfur out to keep Eryx focus away from them while Fenrir joined her and Evan at Eryx feet where they will hit him where it hurts. Patty helped their air assault as she fired her heavier weapons upon the large demon to keep his focus from Evan and Kat around his feet. The battle in turn continued as they hit Eryx where it hurt as he was being hit by an onslaught from both ground and air attacks showing the trio working together during this current fight.
It wasn't long until Eryx had enough of them and in turn with his biggest roar yet unleashed a massive burst of demonic fire to knock back his attackers. Only Evan was still standing as he glared at Eryx showing he was now ready to end this fight and get the hell of this island.
"Come on!" Evan called out and in turn went for the attack. Evan started off by stabbing Elysium into Eryx chest causing the demon great pain. He followed it up by jumping back leaving his sword there. Once that was done he pulled out his Ophion Pull and had the claw grab his swords handle. Once this was done Evan pulled hard and in turn caused Elysium to be dragged down Eryx body causing a huge mess of blood and gore from the demon itself.
In turn Evan then jumped up and pulled his sword back to his waiting hand as he came down upon Eryx. Evan went for the chest just where the neck connected to the rest of the body. He then slammed Arbiter down on him decapitating him. Evan then fired off bullets upon Eryx heart filling it with lead and celestial bronze until it stopped beating. Eryx was left there still and unmoving showing he was in fact beaten and dead.
Evan smirked as he began to walk away from the sight with a cocky smirk just before he stopped still. Evan then sighed and turned to Eryx body as it began to release an energy most familiar to Evan's work. Evan then reached his hand out and thus Eryx body burst out in a blast of light becoming a small orb of his demonic power. The orb flew torts Evan's waiting hand where it then collided and created a blinding light that forced many to shield their eyes from it.
Once the light died down Evan looked at his hands and saw two massive fists there as they gave off a small flame clearly not in use at the moment. Evan smirked as his new Devil Arm a bit before he looked around and noticed he was surrounded by Demons now. See thing Evan got ready for the fun part and proceeded to take a battle stance to face them.
The Demon then charged at Evan as he got ready for them to come at him. Once they got close Evan delivered a powerful uppercut to the Demon where both ended up airborne. But Evan then delivered a downward punch to the demon in question sending it splattering on the ground. Once Evan was back on the ground he began punching his way through the Demons with his new Devil Arm while clearly showing off. As this event continued Evan was having one hell of a time as he punched and socked through the Demons as the fists fire grew more powerful as Evan continued.
As Evan went at it some more he was soon met with a large Demon who charged at him intended to stop him. Evan smirked and in turn charged at the demon as well. When they met they began to clash fists trying to one up the other in this regard. But soon Evan jumped back before charging back with his fist reeled back. Once his fist met the demons club like hand the hand cracked and shattered before the Demons entire arm was obliterated. After which Evan then went at the demons face and punched it where he managed to push it and smash its face into a bloody pulp.
After that Evan smirked as his victory while smirking down at the Demons he had beaten and saw they were all gone and dead. "Too easy." Evan scoffed as he knew he was just that damn good at what he does for a living.
"Evan!" Kat called as she and Patty regrouped with Evan.
"Yeah I know time to go." Evan said and in turn the trio were off.
(Meanwhile with Percy and Annabeth)
As the two Demigods ran to the ships they saw the Pirates weren't going to keep Circe and her followers distracted for long and that not accounting for the demons. So they had little time to act as they needed a ship to get off this island and leave fast.
"Come on hurry!" Annabeth urged as they ran to the docks.
"I'm going as fast as I can!" Percy called back as they were running.
Once they got to the docks though they ended up dead in their tracks at what they saw. "Whoa." Annabeth gasped as before them were ships from all eras of human history. Just then Annabeth was knocked out of her stupor from by demonic roar in the background. "Which one should we take?" Annabeth asked while they began to run once more to the ships.
"This way!" Percy called out taking the lead now where they got to the boarding ramp of the Pirate Ship.
"This one? Are you crazy?" Annabeth asked shocked as she looked to Percy.
"Trust me!" Percy urged while the boarded the pirate ship.
"Percy we'll need a crew of like, a bazillion to get this ship underway." Annabeth scolded as she looked to Percy.
"Hopefully, Evan Patty, and Kat can catch up fast." Percy said mostly to himself before he got ready. "Mizzenmast!" Percy called out and in turn Annabeth was left confused.
"Mizzen-what?" Annabeth asked and in turn much to her shock the ship began to set said on its own. Anchor was raised the sailed were manned and most of all it was clear the ship was ready to sail into the ocean.
As the ship set off they soon head a commotion at the dock and looked to see who it was. In turn they saw Evan, Kat, and Patty running down the docks to the ship. "Guys!" Percy cried out as he saw them run to the ship.
Kat was the first to act as Corvus came back out and grabbed Kat's buckler. He flew her over to the ship leaving Patty and Evan to keep moving. Evan then caught Patty off guard when he grabbed her and flung her straight to the ship where she cried out. Midflight though Patty fixed herself and aimed her rocket launcher at Evan who smirked to this. She then fired the rocket at Evan who headed straight for it just before Patty landed on the ship safe and sound. Evan in turn managed to jump onto the rocket and ride it much like he did the previous summer.
As he rode he cheered to it while flying about in the sky. He then smirked when he flew past the ship before taking a U-Turn. "Duck and cover!" Evan called out and in turn flew straight at them. Everyone did so and got to some cover as Evan came at them. Evan then jumped off the rocket and let it fly to the docks where it then exploded causing mass damage in turn. Evan rolled on the ground before stopping in a kneeling position smirking at what he managed to do. "Bullseye." Evan smirked while he winked to the explosion.
"You guys made it!" Annabeth said happy to see the three back save and sound.
"Was there ever any doubt?" Evan asked as he walked and regrouped with the others.
"You really want an answer?" Annabeth taunted a bit causing Patty to laugh in response.
"Ok I walked into that one." Evan admitted as he smirked at Annabeth's bash on him.
The group sailed for a time as Evan swore he head seagulls in the background to accompany them and in turn had to ask. "So… any entertainment for this ride?" Evan asked as they continued to sail through the Seat of Monster to Polymorphus' island for the Golden Fleece. Camp needed them to find it to heal Thalia's tree from its poison and right now they were already short on time as is. But only time will tell if their quest is successful of if this quest was nothing but a fool's errand.
